TJ is so despicable in this episode. He really enjoys seeing Becky punished.
The parents were despicable too; what I can't understand is they'll give their daughter an unfair punishment for simply missing dinner twice, but they'll also gladly let their bratty son rub it in her face about it? Yeah, I don't care who was really in "trouble", if he acted that way in my family, he would've had some sense knocked into him. In fact, for that attitude alone, HE'S the one who deserves to be "mega-grounded".

I don’t like this episode at all. Sure, at the end Becky is not mega grounded anymore. But missing Dinner isn’t something to be mega grounded for. Okay, I get Tim work hard on his Dinner with his family but grounding his child on missing it is very petty.
Mega grounded has to be something a child did really bad like: bullying, shoplifting, ditching school for bad purposes, hanging out with bad crowds or bad influencers (literally) but for missing dinner that is just so petty.

Well, they did find out once, but their memories got erased; later on in the series, she did tell her dad and little brother her origin story, but they didn't believe her. My guess is the same reason why other superhero shows don't do that: to protect her home and keep them safe.
