Sand the teeth, end with a fine grip around 4 to 600. Polish again. Then paint with clear. I did this on bumpers for my 48 Chevy.... Cool cool and great job on your first body swap,,,,,,

Thanks, I will try it on an inconspicuous area first. Do remember if the clear was enamel or lacquer?

    I love it 😊
The grill looks great. I think mesh would kill the vibe this car has got 👍

You do nice work, I always found it difficult to make precision cuts with a saws all but you got it down to a science

Watch my next video and take a look at how I cut the fenders with a grinder. Very crooked. Thank you though, I'm a little better with the saw than the grinder.

The more I look at it the more I like it and picture it finished.. If that was like a sea wolf grey with the grill done in Black it would look mean...

Tom - Somehow, your vids have stopped populating into my feed. Even though I am still subbed. Weird. But great to see your vids again. I'm going to have to go back and check this series out, and see what in holy heck you are into now!! Always love seeing the crazy fun stuff you come up with. OK - all the best, and hope all is well.

Yep, happened to me too. A UA-cam hiccup?

Thanks, I also have a guitar project I'm working on, but not sure how it'll work. I found a trashed Dean body, like a mini sized Dimebag, I'm trying to put a Squier neck on it.

.. and luckily your part 6 came up in my selections. I really appreciate how you had a similar Ply in your past so were drawn to it. I enjoyed seeing that. And then to put the body on a modern chassis and drive train. Great idea! So I see the Camry mid size and the bigger Ply body and think "How's he going to pull that off?" And episode after episode you demonstrated exactly how. It is so entertaining to see how you conquer challenge after challenge. Great work.

@@user-uw4yl3fv2y thank you, I'm trying to get an hour or so in of work on it before my workday starts. I want to at least get the heavy welding done.

I think you should go with a grill mesh look like you were talking about, not that it looks bad that way but I think it will look better thats all.. It does look good though either way..

My hood opens forward welded the hood latch on the fire wall then ran a cable from the front grille to the latch with 2 pines on the front so the hood so it Can open and a short strap both sides so the hood don’t open to far.

Absolutely amazing. Tackling something for the first time and willing to share as you learn. Thank you for posting and for clean content we can watch without worry of foul language. You may want to check out Halfassedcustoms. He will lay one panel over another and cut both so that the cuts line up and you don't have to worry if it's straight. Might be the way to do your front fender. I've learned lots from him. Best wishes to you and your family.

Thank you, yes, I've seen his videos too. I've watched other body shop videos too, but, sometimes I just get anxious and do it. I also like watching clean content, since I watch on TV in my family's livingroom.
