- In this video I am out in a field with Sunrise Cooperative as they spread fertilizer in a field near my home. They are running a RoGator RG1100B and a Terra Gator TG8300G.
Nice application set up.
Mike I love your videos. My family has had Versatile tractors since the 80s. Our 895 is still rolling. Keep them coming!
FYI for people wondering why the pattern was wider on the RoGator.. the spinner sit higher than the TerraGator, allowing it to spreader further. Also, both spreaders had 2nd bins, looked like both were bin-chaining, spreading the first bin, then the 2nd bin. Great to see some good New Leader footage!
Glad to see farmers are getting things rolling in the more central states!! Us farmers in New England are waiting for Mother Nature to stop dropping snow and rain on us so we can start! Happy farming everyone and stay safe
Watching the three wheeler all I could think of was Mr Bean in his mini going after the blue Robin Reliant

Great video Mike, thanks for sharing
Great video I work at a elevator in Michigan and we was out spreading a few day here and get to roll after this cold snap again
Great video Mike
super tractor, nice vid
Nice Drone work! Thanks for sharing.
Wow that rogator is one awesome machine. I always thought the terragators were such a funny looking machine lol but I really like that rogator. Fast, agile and stable. I used to drive big spray rigs in north central Texas back in 93. I don't remember the name of the rig but it was 4 wheel chassis and a 1200 gallon tank with 100' boom. Back then we had the foam marker to track where we had been. It sure was a lot of fun. But they didn't have any of the dry fertilizer type rigs. Just liquid fertilizer
Love it. Thanks Mike.
Another great video your on a roll.
Awesome Video! 👍👍👍
My dad drives a Terragator. He has spread a lot of lime already here in Michigan.
I run a 7300b terragator for Maury farmers coop n middle Tennessee. Wish we had land like this to run on! They are amazing in worked ground but look out on no till ground! Rougher than 3 nights in jail! Hoping for a rogator or 4030r for my next machine. But that will be a few years.
We had snow showers in Archbold Ohio today 4-15 and I saw the weather forecast for Friday of this week and we are suppose to get 5” of snow. Next week in the upper 50’s and 60’s. Can not wait.
Man, getting over some fields. Getting close, but we got freeze warning here in west TN. tonight. Thanks for the video.
Great work! Keep it up!
Excellent video Mike! That 4 wheeler looked like a Monster Truck.
Love it mike. Thanks again
Another good Mike 👍👍👍
That Challenger is a nice looking unit.
Awesome video Mike 🚜👍
great footage Mike
If I was paying to have fertilizer spread I wouldn’t let them do it unless they had booms especially if it was windy out. Guaranteed the fertilizer isn’t even
T. Sweetwater I run a 3wheeker like this one and there is no streaking in wheat or corn unless it’s crazy wind out but at that point the farmer is smart enough to not run it....sometimes. But they surprise you. That’s why we pan test to make sure the spread pattern is even and that’s at 18 mph and 80ft wide.
Excellent Video Mike, very impressed with the challenger based machine........ (the one that looks like a challenger)i suspect they were both challenger based
Hi Mike a great video of the to working to gether Graham uk
I am a John Deere person, so thanks Mike for saying that seeing that John Deere go by was a bonus.
I like this video I wanna know more about these types of tractors what the difference in the tractors you use, and what they are using to fertilize the ground after they harvest the soy beans and is it completely different for corn or no?
Pretty neat
Those guys are hauling some tail.!!!
I'm a hay farmer in Michigan we hire chicken manure to o speerd out on my boss's Fields here
Would love to have you on the hay farm to video tape something different on your channel
It doesn't take long to get the job done with two spreaders👍

Mike Less - Farmhand Mike
Thanks. You always have nice footage.
Great video. At about 5:50 there is what looks like a hole in the ground. What is that?
Great Video. Because they throw the fertilizer if it is not sown?
Watch out for the snow coming
Fertilize this!😉👍🏻
👍👍👍🇺🇸
What is the point of the 3 wheeler? Does it have any advantages?
What's the benefit of a 3 wheel system over a 4 wheeler?
Thanks for the videos Mike! Much different than what I see running around New Zealand
Flotation. But the 4 wheeler can add narrower tires later and spray row crops.
Slightly less compaction. With the 4-wheeler, the front tires and back tires are following basically in the same path. More compaction in the same tire track areas. With the 3-wheeler, the front tire track goes between the rear tire tracks, resulting in slightly less compaction in the tire track areas.
Hi mike like your channel don’t get to see this type of gear in New Zealand ,just wondering do they roll many of those 3 wheeled machines?
Not that I know of.
They are getting fewer and farther between. Switching to four wheel machines because they can also run in crop corn with them
9:14 don't you want that moisture in the ground?
