I like the cinematic mode, but I’d prefer maybe 15-20% cinematic and 80-85% regular. It’s great for shots like bombing runs and nukes, but you miss too much. Chat being on is always good in my opinion, it adds a lot of relevant info for why some players made certain decisions.
12:16 I love this shot of the shore bombardment. Your tracking speed was quite good, very cinematic. And also yeah hard to learn normal builds from 2x metal game strats lol
I really like the new cinematic camera paired with the HUD over just the cinematic mode. The cinematic mixed with the critical info is essential imo to follow along. I still was getting a little lost on this vid without some sort of compass or map to look at.
Love your casts just adding to the voices to say that I’m not a fan of the cinematic camera. Cool for a couple shots but much prefer the previous camera.
Yeah, last video was a little nauseous with the camera movements when using the cinematic video. It looks like you slowed down it quiet a bit at the start of this video which really helped. Please keep experimenting with it. It looks very good!
the free cam here and there looks nice. maybe now and then switching to team view too - to see what exectly the teams know about the others. i personaly like to watch a game at the perspective of one team all the time so hidden tech and atks are a bit more suprising
was extra cool when you had the camera lined up almost horizontally, looking north from far south on the map along the direction of the front line, so that one could see all the battles at the same time. Like 9.30 or 10.15.
I really don't like the cinematic mode in its current form. It is missing important tactical information. Let me elaborate: - HP bars are missing - Minimap is missing - range indicators are missing Probably more stuff missing. This makes it hard to judge the outcome of close battles.
I'm neutral on the camera--it's cool when you can spin it slowly and it doesn't make me nauseous or anything, but the cinema mode was already cool before. Navies destroying everything, though, is always a non-neutral and very positive experience 🏴☠🏴☠🏴☠🏴☠🏴☠🏴☠🦜🦜
am i the onlyone who can't see the sleeping builder/ings at the bottom anymore? hav allready reinstalled the game but i just can't turn it on in the options - it just goes back to disabled
Sorry but what's the point of a replay if we can't tell what's going on? We want to follow the battle and learn. This is the second video of yours that I haven't watched till the end. Can we please go back to the original format that made us follow you and watch every video?
I appreciate the feedback. Like I said I'm still figuring out how exactly it's best to use this tool. Generally it seems like with much reservation is what I'm leaning towards
i think the problems lies with the games being big enough such that there is so much action that you can't cover all of it. Especially if you want to do close up cinematic shots. The only way you can get reasonable understanding of the strategic situation is to have the camera set afar for a wide field of view or checking the minimap.

Keeping north to the north absolutely improved the appeal of the cinematic cam.
Glad to hear it! Like I said it's a new toy and I'm still learning how and when is best to use it
@@BrightWorksTV Thanks a lot for doing these, I’m sure I speak for many when I say it means a lot for the BAR community
Goddamnit! I'm the kid at the park that wants to go fast on the merry go round but other kids are throwing up
🎵🎵tequila... 🎵🎵
Preferred without the cinematic cam tbh. If i wanted cinematic i would just launch BAR and watch games myself.

gg good cast brights.
this game shows a big problem with the naval/ land interaction. navy is just too strong compared to land units.
shhh...don't ruin it 😥😥
its supposed to be. they don't have legs! but this map

The camera is great but I would really like 1440p vids. Keep up the good work!

and yea keep experimenting and see what you like yourself too.
The subs are creaking under the pressure.

Those controls are epic
Well that was a slaughter
omg, you gotta stop whipping that camera around. lol
More Brightworks :D

Probably a question for the discord
error happened to me recently.

Omg stop spinning
Please move the camera slower, if you go from one battle to another!
