hi it's me, guy in video :) Think Dragon Link is a good call this format; it plays well into all the meta, bystials being out of vogue really helps you do normal dragon link plays and the end board is still really really strong into all decks. Beats the pants off Labyrnth and Swordsoul and does fine into Kashtira and Branded. Bystials give you so much flexibility in extension and end board options, and almost every deck in the format is gonna give you a target to cheat a monster on board turn 0. - Nib and Ash are mandatory hantraps this format. Shouldn't need explanation - Bystial lineup is as minimal as i'd want it to be: opening Lubellion gives your opponent 4 things they need to answer right away: the search, the bystial added, the lubellion, and the spell/trap lubellion would place. Magnamhut into search any dragon is an insane handtrap to have, and very few decks will put 0 lights or darks in gy on their way through the combo. You need at least one of the each of the last three with Baldrake probably being the most cuttable, but full combo you're looking to get Druis off Mag, Mag off regained, and baldrake off seal to get 3 varied points of interaction so i can't see any of them getting cut. - Melody package is shockingly good this format: Diabolos and a dark dragon on board will always soft-insulate you from nibiru, just requires you hold an extender of some kind (which you almost always can). In this way you can delay your lubellion summon until you've ensured safety from nibiru (and baited ash/imperm sufficiently) as Diabolos itself is a tribute target for Lubellion. If melody's gone off, you also just always have the extender you need to go into Zombie Vampire, which will snowball into more extenders (and also give you info about your opponent for g1). - Noctovision returns because Ash returns, basically. Chain block your striker dragon ezclap. - Zombie Vampire started out as me just wanting to play the card now that tear is dealt with, but Melody also just facilitates it so easily in this deck, and it oftentimes will get you into the final piece of your endboard. Also is surprisingly sticky in this format since so many cards target and not many reborn from gy. Also is a catchall xyz out since it modulates stolen monsters to 8 and it's very easy to get 8s in this deck. - Lancea feels essential moving forward as a light that adds another turn-ending option against kashtira. There's cases where you can also lancea chain your bystial to still get the value off the bystial in hand as well. - Kurikara and Book of Eclipse are additional boardbreakers for the kashtira matchup, although it's questionable how useful Kurikara specifically is. I have an alternate build of this side deck which is more focused on abusing Tasking instead that's 3 Lancea, 1 Change, 1 TTT, 3 Tasking, 1 Dark Hole, 3 Eclipse, and 3 flex spots for whatever else you'd want off Tasking. That's all the changes i've applied since this video's recording. Endboard is: Seal, Beast, Regained, and some combination of Savage, Baronne, I:P, and Apollousa depending on how your combo line diverged and what you're up against. Easy enough to put up baronne in under 5 summons or seal in under 5 and still full combo underneath nib protection, you're not too soft to ash, and gamma puts the fear of god into people and absolutely ends the nonbelievers. Side pattern is generally: 2 Lubellion, 1 Diabolos, 3 Melody out, 6 defensive cards in for going second. If you want more, you can also pull out REDMD, Black Metal, Noctovision, and Brotaur since they're more for combo extension than for your core engine. link-4 and a 3k beater or 2 Tuners and 2 non-tuner 4s is all you really need to win the game if you play cards right. That's 10 spots to work with which should get you everything you want. Vs Kash specifically, you can also pull out a bystial and get 3 Lancea, 3 BOE, 3 Kurikara, and both steal spells. Going first you can side out Nibirus and 1 ash for the gammas or vice-versa depending on matchup. If Lancea is particularly impactful you can replace a handtrap lineup with it as well, flexing out either a melody or a quick launch depending on whether you also want gammas in.

This list will help a lot! Gonna try taking it to locals once I’ve gathered all the cards. You wouldn’t happen to have extra for sale by a chance ?? Why don’t you play triple burst, quad dragon, borrelend, or borrel sword? What is your main match ups? I see a lot of spright, floo, and runic at my locals so I’m trying to figure out how to play against those lineups

I’ve been playing Branded Bystial but I’ve been wanting to play DLink since I pulled a starlight savage. You should do another video on the deck whenever you get a chance. I loved the Bystial thunder dragon profile and now I’m looking forward to trying out this list. Are you planning to play at regionals or Ycs one day ?
@@A_Family_Mann_TCG I've been to three regionals so far! Detroit 2022, Detroit 2023, and Indy 2023. I barely missed topcut the first time (lost r9 for the bubble spot), got cheated (dude that cheated me r8 topped) and dropped the second time, and then topped the third time.
Bystial magnamhut can only add another dragon other than Bystial magnamhut. 3 The Bystial Lubellion is clogging 2 is ok I've gone used 3 and if you open 2 you can't really do to much and 2 is ok I haven't drawn 2 while playing 2. of course I like 3 Bystial magnamhut 3 Bystial druiswurm and 2 Bystial Saronir and 1 Bystial Baldrake. you should be playing Borrelend Dragon is a must in Dragon link. you really don't need Atum or a second Spheres a second Spheres can be ok late game but if you're setting up a good field and if you have enough interruptions
absolutely not. Going first you need to see lubellion so you play three. Lubellion is giving you Magnamhut, Regained, and Beast if you play right. Going second you're needing your side cards more and will side out 2, sure, but you need 3 in rotation. Borrelend is dogshit. Card negs you so hard and demands way too much inflexibility in your extra deck. Card's not worth it. Never once wanted it. Absolutely need Atum.
@@yataboi not if you have Starliege then through your play get dragon ravine and send Bystial Saronir then send Lubellion and then use Starliege and banish it to add Lubellion. I was playing 3 then switched 2 and went back 3 and it's to clogging I drew 2 Lubellion and it sucked I draw 1 almost all the time or I send it to grave from Saronir and get it back with Starliege. Atum did ok for me I'm just not sure what I would take out for the Bystial dis pater maybe baronne because there the same level. my main deck is still 41 though
@@assumingfrog7944 yep I've beaten tTearlements with Borrelend Dragon and my first tournament was won well went full combo and he Nibiru and I Triple tactics too draw 2 and got monster reborn. it was against Swordsoul in game 3 and I had not beaten him ever in tournament it was a small group it was 5 players but still

was pre-ban list. Baldrake would replace 1 copy of druis.
