Wot4 XL Penultimate Flight

As the title says, this was the penultimate flight of the Wot4 XL. It was powered by a DLE 20 petrol engine, and was swinging a 17x6 Fiala prop. I had just managed to get the engine running really well after a fault was discovered with the Cdi ignition unit. Unfortunately, after this flight, the model crashed and was written off. We belive it was severe turbulance at too low an altitude that caused the crash, but will never know for sure.

Do you think I could put a 25cc in a standard wot 4? It’s the original Chris foss kit

if you mean the 52" wingspan one then no! the biggest engine ive ever seem in a standard wot4 is a .91 4st, and that wasnt enjoyable as it was too much power

I built one but crashed due to lost of signal caused by ignition system
