- Castle glamping in a sub-freezing tent! It was on our bucket list! Castle glamping in a tent at the world-famous Kentucky Castle in Versailles!...just as the temperature was forecast to go just below freezing!...The tent on the castle grounds was HUGE, with one plug-in heater that had a tough time keeping up with the cold and made it hard to sleep! We made sure we toured the castle and their adjoining farm first, which made for a couple of unusual adventures by themselves!

I find is so fascinating there is a Versailles in Kentucky and it even has its own castle. So cool. Glamping looks nice too, but I would rather do it in warmer months. Thanks for sharing! Happy new year!

The castle Christmas decorations are absolutely stunning. It might be a little burzy-wurzy heading to the potty in the middle of the night. Now, that's a tent!! The face on that goat. Hilarious! The jokes just keep getting worse. LOL! That fire pit. Ya'll looked like you were having a wonderful evening relaxing by the fire. Great information.
You don't go to the potty after dark without a flashlight, for sure! Despite the baaad jokes, that goat made the video for us! Glad you enjoyed the trip!

Love this! I absolutely love glamping and road trips aaaaand castles ... so this seems just perfect. I would like to say that my Canadian blood would help with the cold BUT ... They had a small fan...but don't know if it would do much to keep you cool when it hits 90F. Thanks for watching!

Honestly, the heater they supplied was less than we needed, but this is the first year of glamping at the castle, I'm sure it will be remedied before next winter. To answer your question, we slept fully clothed including our winter coats. (Yes, we'd do it again!)😄
