Even proven manufacturers can have a hard time making a quality lever action that actually works. I have very little confidence that Canuck will pull this off. I truly hope I'm wrong though.
Their price is nearly that of the proven Rossi R92's??? They are nearly the price of a Henry, or a Ruger Marlin. I'd save up the extra $200 to $500 and buy a rifle that won't rust out on you in 6 months. The metal finishes on Turkish firearms is garbage. You might as well spray paint your firearm. It'll have a more reliable finish from rust. Stay away from any Turkish firearm that isn't fully blued and blued really well.
Will be intersting to see what calibers they offer. Glad to see you made the show. Looks fun.. Hopefully they have some spicy options.. 454..460.come 2 mind. 458socom maybe
I honestly have to ask, why would anyone buy anything made from Canuck when literally anything thats slightly more expensive would be infinitely better. Save your $$ and buy a ruger made marlin or something quality. Buy shitty quality, get shitty results. I won a Canuck shotgun, shot it once, sliced open my hand on the shitty tactical rail and sold it the next day. Best decision I ever made.
I think a lot of people just aren't going to know the difference. I haven't fired a Canuck or Henry, so I couldn't tell you which one is better. I mean, I'm sure Henry is better, but if some random dude walks into the store and sees lever guns, they'll probably pick up the cheapest option.
I have a canuck pump shotgun that hasn’t given me any trouble whatsoever. There has to be at least a thousand rounds through it, never been cleaned and don’t plan on cleaning it until I have a malfunction. Around me there is nothing slightly more expensive that’s infinitely better. You get what you pay for, I wanted a cheap 12 gauge that’s flawless and that’s what I got. It’s rough around the edges, but what do you expect? My SXP is lighter, smoother, faster and just better all around; but it’s twice the price so it should be. If the tactical rail cut your hand, you need to wear a glove or have a better grip on the gun when it recoils. I wouldn’t exactly blame the gun on that one
Should be illegal to make shitty quality firearms when peoples lives might depend on them. Don't buy anything from Canuck unless you want a cheap plinker.
Awesome. Looking forward to seeing the more "traditional" models.
our go to on the homestead is a lever
Ours is a bren 2 556
I bought one right then and there.
Spend your money on a henry also the safety on a lever gun is stupid 😂
