It looks like they fixed their trash design for the push rod in the gas system. Well see how long it really works. Any deviations from stoners ar180 gas system design so far has yielded garbage results
I’m sorry but for $2k where’s the damn forward assist? This does have the appearance of a promising generation. Just complete the damn design already and stop screwing us around. And the price can 100% stay in the $1500 range. More than fair enough for both buyer and seller.
Why does it need a forward assist again? There's innumerable AR15 brands on the market without them. They're entirely a personal preference that increases the cost of manufacturing the upper.
@@DarkCatfish Yeah but I want that new handguard and higher picatiny and the defelctor, all comes standard now I assume on the WK181 in future. The gas system on the WK181 is already different yeah.
@@worstcase519I didn’t expect my Gen 1 to just fall apart after 100 rounds. It’s like they forgot to torque every single fastener on the rifle. Goodbye pos thing.
@@bs_podcast No I’ve already watched your videos like eight times lmaooo, I just wanna know more about how it felt, does it feel solid? They seem very confident in it and the fact they lowered the price kind of tells me that they’ve invested into long term production of the firearm. I’m very hopeful about it
@papermind4010 it was definitely the most solid looking system of all the semis at TACCOM and the nicest finish and feel, BCL was a close second BCL unfortunately did not have loose internals to look at.
Looks like they changed the piston system to be fair & and made it 3 pieces plus rifle length... in theory this means the gen 3 pistons aren't going to snap every 500 rounds but still fuck Kodiak for selling that faulty crap piston design in the first place and for TWO generations
The year is 2029. The WK180 Gen 6 has just been released. It still doesn't work.
And it sells for cheap cheap price of 4000 bucks!
😂

The guy here does not seem super interested in his own product.
Neither does the host
How many piston rods will this one break?
Can’t break a piston rod if you turn the gas off ;)
with so many pieces in the gen 3, it's pre-broken for you LOL
Great video quality, guys…. You can almost make out a rifle in it.
unproudly made in windsor🎉
hopefully the piston wont break, also they still havent fixed the terrible bolt release.
Should've had rifle piston 2 gens ago, why reinvent the wheel
forward assist for gen 4?
Just one more gen bros

I wish you would ask questions about their plan for the WK181. Just bought mine 2 week ago idk if I should return now
The 181 is generally considered to be alright is it not?

If you really care,
Just buy an upper. The 181 is fine from my understanding

Sure are a lot of bent barrel enthusiasts in this comment sections lmao
Even he doesn’t own one
Lost me when he saif no changes on the desgin. Basicly they just modded a gen 2 and rebadged it.

To be fair, if they didn't do that, you would need proprietary 5rd mags.
Why would you flop a folding stock towards the weapon's discharge... Dumb
🤣
Still gonna wait others response….
Grizzly .308 if ima risk any of these new pices
