Supersonic Warriors 2 on the DS is great as well. And it got really hard in the challenge mode.

I mean it was developed by Arc System Works as well as Supersonic Warriors 2 and Extreme Butoden. Games are getting better and better so FighterZ is just the final, best version of SW.
@@cyberbitterdragon Indeed, but I think Supersonic Warriors is nonetheless an underrated game; I thought those ‘what if’ storylines and the ‘easy to learn, hard to master’ gameplay were really great.
I am so glad Akira lived long enough to see FighterZ and Kakarot.

Budokai 3 & Infinite World (Budokai 4), Legacy Of Goku 2, Supersonic Warriors 1&2, Burst Limit, Budokai Tenkaichi 2&3, Raging Blast 1&2, Fighterz, and Kakarot are my all-time favorite DBZ games.

With all due respect to Sparking Zero, there's no way it'll have a bigger roster than Tenkaichi 3. And it'll probably be full of paid DLCs and alike.

@@Nov-5062 According to the trailers, the new game has a roster size of 164, tenkaichi 3 was 161. So its really not any bigger, and since new goku/vegeta forms and many super characters already take up a great part of the roster, then that means many of the obscure characters (or even all of GT or OGDB or movies) from tenkaichi 3 must have been cut.

I honestly enjoyed playing the DLCs in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot more than the main story because they were fresh parts of the anime that were made better in game form.

I have such good memories of Legendary Super Warriors. Very difficult at first but learning pattern recognition was very rewarding
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot was amazing. i loved flying around the DBZ world and hitting all the places from the show. The nostalgia was great.
So glad to see Fusions on the list. This game needs a remake/remaster

Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters
- Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down)
- Fusions mid-battle
- Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel
- Tons of extra content
- Story mode covering all sagas + movies
- What If sagas
- Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot)
- Great tournaments that rotate availability
- Edit characters with items (buffs)
- 5v5 battles
- Really Great and Epic Soundtracks
- Destroyable environments
- Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives
- Mission 100 being a great challenge
- Artwork is 10/10
- Sound effects are great
- Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games except of Dragon Ball Z Evolution are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.🤷🏻♂️

Good Memories i had with Final Bout, UB22, Legacy of Goku 1+2, Budokai Trilogy and the Tenkaichi Trilogy.
And then, FighterZ and Kakarot appeared and they becamed my favorite DB Games of all-time.
Bt3, infinite world, legacy of goku 2, buu's fury and xenoverse 2 are my top 5 games

My top 5 DB Games are DBFighterZ, DBZ Kakarot, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3, DBZ Budokai 3 HD Collection, and DBZ XenoVerse 2.
And the real magic for this is Akira’s work.

Super Dragonball Z, Dragonball FighterZ, Dragonball Shin Budokai/Shin Budokai Another Road and Dragonball Z Kakarot are my all-time favorites out of all the DBZ games so far. Dragonball Fusions and Supersonic Warriors 2 are a close second. I love the world of DBZ. Wish they'd do more.
Fusions on the 3DS is great but there's another RPG that's also great. Legend of the Super Saiyan!
Ok, maybe not. I do like how that RPG incorporated Power Levels. But there was also a turn-based RPG on the DS, Attack of the Saiyans. It covered a bit of the end of Dragon Ball up to the end of the Saiyan Saga. Really nice to actually get to spend time with the other Z Warriors, like Tien, Yamcha and Krillin.
Honestly kakarot is number. 1 is crazy it’s a good game but tenkaichi 3 shits on it tbh. Kakarot is wayyy to repetitive and I hate those annoying enemy’s that keep following you around everywhere. In the world map would annoy me so bad would make me think I’m playing a Pokémon game whenever I enter the. Grass area
Db tenkaichi 3 was brilliant especially in regards to content but dbt 2 had a better story campaign one the best I've played. DBZ Kakarot with the DLC is almost perfect a 9/10 for me.

I remember playing Legacy of Goku 2 from way back.
I used a guide to collect all the capsules then gave it all to Gohan knowing full well how the story would end.
I ended up whooping Cell in base form. Lmao!

I think they meant that hopefully it doesn't get canceled. Bandai Namco just canceled a bunch of their games recently.
I remember years ago on wii my friend and I played a dbz game when you can play as anyone and played as frieza on namek you can destroy namek but I don't remember the name
LOG2 was incredible, and i was stoked to see it on here. Might've swapped out Dragon Ball Adventure for Supersonic Warriors 2, but a solid list
I loved Dragon Ball Sagas as a kid at the time. Although, now looking back it was bad but sagas and BT3 were my favourites.
Budakai 1,2,3, are the best to me I love the mortal combat feel instead of all the flying around and stuff
Some of the best Dragon Ball Z games I ever got to play are Dragon Ball Z Budakai 2, Dragon Ball Z Budakai Techachi 2 on PS2, Dragon Ball Z Techachi Tag Team on PSP, Dragon Raging Blast on PS3 and Both Dragon Ball Xeverse and Dragon Ball Z Kakorot. All of these games right here are so dope and so cool 😎

Kakarot was great but id love to see a Dragon Ball prequel showing Gokus origins although he was kind of underpowered.
We did get some of it with 23rd tournament dlc even the battle kid goku vs king piccolo
I’m actually surprised a few other games didn’t make it on this list like Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu and a couple others. Not sure if people like those rpg style dragon ball z games like I do but I was still surprised they weren’t on here.

Dragonball Z Legendary Super Warriors 🐐 I thought I was the only one who played this gem I lost to Frieza on Namek so many times😅
I only have 1 Dragon Ball game: Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 2 on PlayStation 2. I remember how fun I had to play that in my childhood with my brothers on a Ps2. I should play that again before Dragon Ball Sparkling Zero (Budokai Tenkaichi Series) easily 1 of the most expected games of all time. I'm not that much interested of Dragon Ball games, but now I am, because Sparkling Zero what looks really an awesome is coming, and i'm interested of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot too. I haven't watched Dragon Ball Anime Series, but I only seen 1 movie, so that's why i'm interested of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, because it have Dragon Ball's full story, and Goku's next Journey DLC. Is Dragon Ball Z Kakarot worth it only as a 15€? By the way we'll never forget you the Father of Dragon Ball, and the Legend Akira Toriyama RIP. 🐉🔮😢❤

For somebody new to the DBZ world, Kakarot is without a doubt the best game to play

Dragon ball z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Dragon ball XenoVerse 1 were two really good dragon ball z games I've played in my life.

I was SO addicted to Dragon Ball Fusions when it came out. The game has a Pokémon-like collect them all element and seeing the possible fusion combinations was awesome. I'm thinking about playing it again now. 😂

I came in here expecting to rage over the fact that Dragon Ball Fusions didn’t make the list due to everybody in the world seemingly forgetting it exists. Happy to see I was wrong, though its placement on this list is far too low. It’s at least in the top 5. For me personally it’s my number 1. Really wish we got a sequel

did yall do any research for this at all? BT3 is getting a sequel called Sparking Zero, its very well known and hyped rn, dont know how that wasnt mentioned. Also, Buus Fury should have been on this list next to Legacy of Goku 2, they are on par with each other.

Budokai 3 can be picked by both hardcore and seasonal players plus the finishers...ufff. Fighterz simply felt like a bunch of slides put together and the game never allowed regular fans to challenge more experienced players leading to bs combos. The game got old pretty fast but the game looked good.
I wish Spark Zero had the same shaded art style but they went computerized which is lazy. Tenkaichi 3 was good but transformations of a character should not count as different characters # CommonSense. Kakorot is very good in regards to experience. Like really good. I just wish they had included Movies like Cooler , Broly and Janemba

I'd replace Xenoverse on this list any day. The first one was a grind and spam fest, then the 2nd felt like a rehash. Also Raging Blast Deserves to be on here. Btw I like Kakarot, but I think it might be a little overrated, likely due to the leveling system breaking the game at a certain point I feel, but I think the game was much better that Xenoverse still.
