Baby East Romper Sewing Tutorial (Lowland kids) band hack and fold over mitten cuffs sew along

In this video I will be sewing up the Baby East Romper from Lowland Kids. I will be walking you through each step of the pattern.
I will be sewing a version without a hood, long sleeves, fold over mitten wrist cuffs, pant length, snap tabs, and ankle cuffs!

what do you use for the flap with the button is it bias?

Yes! I just used bias tape! It was a double fold so it was pretty thick, but you could also use twill tape or other woven ribbon materials!

So do u not need interfacing between the band for snaps

No I don’t usually have an issue with it! If it was a crotch placket or something with more use/pulling I would add interfacing or a strip of woven fabric inside the band while sewing! I also have found that plastic snaps are less likely to rip fabric than metal snaps!
