It’s just so frustrating because you think you’re doing right by your fur baby. My big guy died January 3/22 of kidney disease. I adopted him when he was 10 years old and was already in kidney failure. My vet of course had me feed him a prescription diet which I now learn, was the worst thing I could’ve given him. So much guilt here. My new guy I’ve had for six months has been on wet food only. His first year in foster care he was on a kibble diet. I changed it to wet day one of adopting him. I’m trying to do what’s best I want to go raw however I’m not sure how to do that yet properly. I don’t want to cause more harm than good. I am learning more and more watching these videos so thank you

I'm a sucker for the many veterinarian shows as well as some of the rescue shows on T.V. or the internet that we can get now. I used to just love these shows which were with I thought some good information. Now I just cringe when I hear what the veterinarians are still giving. Even the amount of vaccinations that they still recommend! Now it seems to me some are now going out of thete way by saying and I quoit" we feed veterinarian recommend food , we don't feed HUMAN FOOD". 😮😢 Any hope of getting a of this information on t.v. We can really only find information about raw or lightly cooked food on the internet. Many can't find or don't know anything about a holistic veterinarian. It seems to be hush up😢😢.

I have a question on frozen raw cat food. In Canada all of the frozen raw food that I have found, I have gone to nine different pet stores in two cities. All the bone content in all of the different brands that I found is 10%. I’ve been told by a feline nutrition group that I follow online that cats should have no more than 7% bone Content is this true and should I not buy the 10% bone content? I’m just very frustrated because I honestly want to do everything to keep my fellow happy and healthy. I don’t want to harm him and I’m just lost 🤦🏼Tia

Hi thanks for asking! Most of the premades are 80/10/10 and we use that as well as some with a little different count. It totally depends on what you are looking for. Each one will be a little different, we try not to completely stress about that part as we know that even our food guidelines as people isn't always exact. Unless you have a sick kitty, then we suggest reaching out to a formulator to design their food for you!
