Just don't be afraid and talk to people. When I was in middle school I started the first years as a really shy and antisocial guy and even in the last year I changed personality and look but people would still not talk to me. I started high school like a new me and people started to talk to me and now I know like half of the school and im good with everyone. You don't have to be anxious or scared if you start high school, you have to be happy that you have a new chance and you can introduce yourself as a totally different person.

I am now going into Junior year and I can say... my past two years were nothing like this. When I first started freshman I was very social and liked to talk alot. all I would ever get in response is "no one cares" or "shut up your so annoying." I soon realized that no matter what I said, no one really cared and I was always alone in the end. This made me very depressed and honestly... it has never went away. it always feels nothing will ever be happy or enjoyable and honestly, I don't really have any good memories from the past two years. All I remember is being alone and no one giving a shit about me. that's what it is always like every second of the day and it never changes. even when people act interested it seems like it is faked and forced. occasionally I would meet someone new who seemed to actually care about me but about a month later, they want nothing to do with you. And I know being self centered pushes people away. I always listen to people when they talk about themselves and I'm not always to topic of the conversation but it seems to still never work out. If you relate like so I know I'm not alone. If you have any advise please reply. thanks for reading if you made it this far ( you probably didn't 😂)

Just want to add that although when you first start talking/ making new friend, especially Asian, they won’t speak a lot to you. If they hate you, they will leave so don’t think that they just not talking a lot means they hate you. Start off nice with everyone, they will become sweet once they feel comfortable with you.

Nayo B I'm in year 10 and here are some of my tips that have helped me: be yourself and don't care what people think cause there are a lot of judgemental people in school and you just got to ignore them, cause if you say something back most of the time can make it worse Ik that for a fact haha xx but if you have your friends then everything will fly by and your worries will become less of a problem and when it gets to exams that really matter don't put of revising I learnt that the hard way 😂❤ but good luck and I hope it goes great and definelty have earphones cause when I started secondary school I got obsessed with listening to music all the time and still am haha xx

Honestly jealous of people who have those- I've lived in Germany twice and two different states and I'm 13 currently- I know it's not that bad but I still can barely meet my old friends.

You're not a problem that needs to be fixed, and if you don't feel comfortable somewhere, get out. I’m currently freshman in high school and I have been more open socially than ever before like I came in high school as a nobody from middle school considering I barely had any friends. And also since I joined the wrestling team and literally like 50% of Freshman,20% of sophomores,40% of juniors, and 15% of seniors know me which is kinda amazing :)
