    Thank you for another great cook. Made this last night with venison backstrap. Wife loved it. I lost almost all taste and smell to covid in 2020 so your detailed cooks are really appreciated.

      It's so good! I took out my creme brulee torch and lit em up...helps melt and caramelize

    Great idea on these bites, I would match these with a fried rice, combine the Asian flavors and the garlic bites…. All on the flat top! Great job as always!

    Gonna make this with a different cut of meat (maybe sirloin? It won't be quite as tender but will still taste great) and probably gonna add a bit of fine rosemary to the garlic. Great looking recipe, can't wait to try.

    TIP: Brush the steaks very lightly with a light olive oil before vacuum sealing to prevent freezer burn, thereby prolonging freezer life.

    Agree that a creamed horseradish sauce like I make for prime rib would go amazingly well with this dish. Just a question, have you ever considered using a good garlic press such as a Zyliss or Roselyn instead of using a knife with oil method?

    Perfect, just got a new griddle for off road and it is my meat griddle. I bought a whole tenderloin that this would be perfect for. Good recipe for sure.

      Got the new 14 inch camper griddle with side burner. It’s perfect for lunches back in the woods on the farm or on the trails riding the side by side. Runs on the 1 lb bottles or a regular tank. Teflon coated griddle plate.

    There’s a steak restaurant in my neck of the woods that makes an incredible sandwich using little pieces of meat like this. I’m going to have to try this recipe, but I’m going to use sous vide chuck roast because I’m temporarily poor.

    Blackstone has a $280 griddle on the website. Buy it and compare to the fancy ones you have. Is it acceptable for the weekend warrior griddle chef?

      Typically the tops are the same ...its all the bells and whistles that come with it that makes the price go up...Costco has one for 399....seems to have alot of stuff on it...

      as i mentioned in the video...I though the bigger piece of meat would cook longer....and that helped in creating a deep crust...if the they are cut...the cook so fast...the texture and flavor would be laking...
