Thank you for another great cook. Made this last night with venison backstrap. Wife loved it. I lost almost all taste and smell to covid in 2020 so your detailed cooks are really appreciated.
Now you went and done it again. Fantastic recipe you came up with Neil, thanks to you and Amy for sharing it with us. That would be so flavorful around the table. Stay safe and keep up the great videos and sharing here on you tube. Fred.
Great idea on these bites, I would match these with a fried rice, combine the Asian flavors and the garlic bites…. All on the flat top! Great job as always!
Looks great! How about a video for those of us who don't use the grills all year? What to do to as far as seasoning the grill, etc...after months of a winter idle time
Gonna make this with a different cut of meat (maybe sirloin? It won't be quite as tender but will still taste great) and probably gonna add a bit of fine rosemary to the garlic. Great looking recipe, can't wait to try.
Neil , those steak bites look awesome my friend. PS keep your wife happy with steak bites LOL , enjoy those bites Amy ! THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA.........
Agree that a creamed horseradish sauce like I make for prime rib would go amazingly well with this dish. Just a question, have you ever considered using a good garlic press such as a Zyliss or Roselyn instead of using a knife with oil method?
Perfect, just got a new griddle for off road and it is my meat griddle. I bought a whole tenderloin that this would be perfect for. Good recipe for sure.
Got the new 14 inch camper griddle with side burner. It’s perfect for lunches back in the woods on the farm or on the trails riding the side by side. Runs on the 1 lb bottles or a regular tank. Teflon coated griddle plate.
@@TheFlatTopKing, got the 14" with side burner. Perfect for remote farm lunches and riding the Side by side trails. It has a coated griddle, super easy to clean. Gets to temp FAST.
Bleu cheese or goat cheese Amy! Either way, excellent execution. I literally used a whole jar of horseradish on Easter, so I'd enjoy! Great work as always!
Love your channel but I can’t watch it all year. I live in CT and it’s too cold to use my blackstone in the winter . But spring is coming so I’m back watching your videos
There’s a steak restaurant in my neck of the woods that makes an incredible sandwich using little pieces of meat like this. I’m going to have to try this recipe, but I’m going to use sous vide chuck roast because I’m temporarily poor.
DUDE...we had that exact thing..not kidding...after filming I went for a run....my wife fixed a Caesar salad with garlic croutons...not even kidding...
The well done comments are getting old. It's not even funny anymore. Just make your coocking video and let people eat their steak the way they like it.
Thanks for taking time to comment....no its not old...its every single video...the uneducated and the difference between raw and med rare gets old...we will cook and edit for us...thanks
Typically the tops are the same ...its all the bells and whistles that come with it that makes the price go up...Costco has one for 399....seems to have alot of stuff on it...
as i mentioned in the video...I though the bigger piece of meat would cook longer....and that helped in creating a deep crust...if the they are cut...the cook so fast...the texture and flavor would be laking...
Grab the recipe here ... theflattopking.com/garlic-butter-steak-bites/
Just made this. Was so good it brought tears to my eyes
WOW....hey I appreciate that...

Oooh yes, I like Amy's idea of adding blue cheese crumbles👍😊
It's so good! I took out my creme brulee torch and lit em up...helps melt and caramelize

A awesome meal for camping with family ❤
Liked and Subbed. From one Meat Lover to another, Thank You.
Heck yea...thank you...
In the very delicious. I must try this. Thanks
Just yum Boss. 😋 😋 😊
TIP: Brush the steaks very lightly with a light olive oil before vacuum sealing to prevent freezer burn, thereby prolonging freezer life.
They look amazing Neal! Mix some shrimp and have surf n turf! Cheers brother!
Not a bad idea
good vid dood!!!

Bravo Zulu Neal!!! Those would probably be great in some soft-bread made on the griddle.
That would be cool!
Sierra Hotel!
Making this tonight 🤞.
Over some mashed potatoes ❤
And corn
Definitely mash potato ❤
Delicious easy meal especially with filet. I like Amy’s idea with the blue cheese and extra horse radish😮💨😮💨🤤🤤
Absolutely.....great for backstrap

its amazing how underutilized it is....
@@TheFlatTopKing Don't talk about Amy like that!
another great vid
yes yes yes
I’m going to try making the cubes first adding premade “butter.” All sides will be seasoned. We’ll see 🤣

I understand completely....i appreciate you coming back...
I would also like to try this with chimichurri! Great video, cheers!
Absolutely
Between the grandkids & my wife doesn’t eat much, this might be the perfect steak night recipe.
Blue Cheese dipping sauce with these. Killer video. 10/10
Looks good!
Hey for your taco Brea, what did you do with the tomatoes? Did you blend that along with the peppers and added it back into the sauce?
If you like it well done, there's another channel out there for you. LMAO! Good for you. Those look amazing. Cant wait to try them.
Hahahaha.

Great idea! Can you report back if you make it like that...that has peaked my interest
@@TheFlatTopKing I will do that! Give me a couple of weeks until chuck roast goes on sale and I’ll report back.
yummy yum. super nice
So good
Looks great. I'd do Teriyaki or Soy sauce instead of the W.
I agree with that….sounds amazing!
Brother that’s dynOmite! Thank you. New sub.
Thanks for the sub! Much appreciated...
Those look amazing! I love me some med to med rear 🥩 but that being said, I’ll never say no to steaks just as long as it’s still edible 🤷♂️
100 well said
I’m currently in the middle of making your taco Brea and going well you and Johnny brunet should really do a Collab together
The OH and TN connection? CLE to BNA? Easy hop👍🏻

Good ideas to match this up with……my first thought was a fresh garden salad topped with the steak bites on top. A slice of garlic bread on the side.
DUDE...we had that exact thing..not kidding...after filming I went for a run....my wife fixed a Caesar salad with garlic croutons...not even kidding...
What guards are you using on the Traeger griddle handles to cover those large holes?
Dollar tree bench scrapers...$1.25 each

Blackstone has a $280 griddle on the website. Buy it and compare to the fancy ones you have. Is it acceptable for the weekend warrior griddle chef?
Typically the tops are the same ...its all the bells and whistles that come with it that makes the price go up...Costco has one for 399....seems to have alot of stuff on it...
going to test out the new Weber Slate?
I am...should be here anytime...
They look great, but why didn’t you cut them into cubes first before you cooked them?

Lots of educational stuff there. Check it out.
Add scallions.
Can you do this with cheaper cuts of meat? Like to serve more people
Absolutely...just want to make sure its a tender cut....sirloin etc...

Neal... I think that UA-cam definately needs to develope "Smell-O-Vision just so we can truely enjoy these cooking videos to the fullest.
this one needed it...when added the last bit of butter really helped for sure...
I would have to get 2 tenderloins. One just to feed the 16yo human garbage disposal that is my son.
blue cheese crumbles????????? never
Always… it’s a personal preference…
Looks good, but what do you mean fir cheat code. You online cooks are delusional.
??? Delusional… thanks
Quit worrying so much about what your wife thinks. Great men do not do that.
I hope you never EVER post on my channel again...what a dumb comment...my wife is everything....her opinion 100 matters...
