A lot of people give Godsmack crap for" changing their sound" ( on this album) however, this song shows you can still be badass and open up( at the same time)
Love this album. Love when bands change it up. It gets boring for me when the sound is the almost the same
There’s nothing wrong with writing music that moves people.
Sully Erna has a badass voice, a musicians's genius that plays every instrument, a poet's heart that writes every lyric he sings.. and finally a heart of gold he opens to everyone he encounters. Never heard a single bad thing about Sully from anyone meeting him outside of a concert. I met him at a hotel in Mass, years and years ago. We sat and had a beer and just shot the shit for like 2 hours. Felt like a best friend I hadn't ever met before.
I paused the video to make a comment. You alls words touched me. I have mental and physical disabilities. I was born with Mosaic Down Syndrome which is a rare form. I go to a psych social program that helps me stay stable. I live alone but my sister lives in the apartment next door or I'd probably be in a facility. I have often felt like a burden because I live on ssi which is disability payments in the USA. I try to remember that I help people too just in different ways than I am usually helped. I helped my step dad take care of my mom until she passed away a few years ago. One way to look at it is she was a burden in some ways but also I got to spend so much time with her. I wouldn't take a second back with her if I could.
Godsmack and Sully are so underrated

This is a great song. I actually had this song play at my wife's memorial last year when she passed away. The lyrics describe the love I have for her, so I thought it was a fitting song to play.
If you're looking for a bright spot in a dark world.....look at what Sully and the guys from Godsmack are doing with their Scars Foundation. I don't care what you think about their music, as people, they are making a difference. They just don't talk about doing something...they ARE doing something. Respect and love can fix everything.....FACT!! Rock on and stay heavy....T
This is softer than normal for Godsmack but still good.

This song i listen to a lot when I was at the Hospital after I had the stroke, hard to believe it's been 11 months! Next month on the 14th June is a full year! To able to walk again after the fact I God, the glory! 🙏 God bless you Guys! 🙏

The day this album was released my son and I were like..wtf...amazing beyond words, so I took new CD home..1st listen my wife was floored,I turned around and looked and her arms were covered in goosebumps, then tears,it is now her Todd song...excellent pick, 25 years with my wife..this song is us..
My son is autistic and is my little buddy. He was a gift from God.
I also have an autistic son, he makes me a better person by having him in my life.
Seen them in concert last September,they were great .Played this song during encore with a grand piano rising up out of the stage .

I'm 52 now and had a good job as a mailman and left that to care for my parents when they got sick. I want zero pats on the back or good for you,, and i regret nothing. I gave up a lot and I'd F'n do it again. No one is a burden!!! Take care of those that cant take care of themselves.

I was never a Godsmack fan back in the day.Voodoo was always my least favorite song. I really like this song and the message, I'm definitely a fan now. I'm glad they decided to evolve

I was born prior to medical tech and science could determine birth defects. My parents fully expected a "normal" child as my older sister were. Never expected me to be born with Spina Bifida. I was born paralyzed and unable to walk or control certain body functions. I was going to be handful financially. Luckily we had good insurance and was well taken care of. But when I was brought home. I wasn't fully accepted by family especially by the older generations. A great great Aunt thought I should've been suffocated as she saw me as a burden. I never blamed her or hated her for thinking that. In her time growing up on a farm in Canada with 12 other children, someone like me WAS a burden. We became very close as I got older and she realized I was more capable and less of a burden. Today the medical tech is so advanced that someone like me isn't a surprise anymore as parents know months prior to birth. But doctors still need to be re-educated. As they suggest to them that we should be aborted. 63% of all Spina Bifida cases are aborted in today's world.

I love this song but its hard to listen to. Sullys voice! Damn..but the work these guys do with the Scars Foundation and with their fans..these guys are amazing. I lost a good friend to suicide..and my daughter is a drug addict trying to get her life together so I know what its like to have invisible scars.

The problem isn't being a burden to society. I'm a burden to myself, too heavy to carry. Especially when everyone you've surrounded yourself with says they are there for me, but are tuned out of the conversation when it occurs. So there's that.
