I'm in Minnesota and had a 6x10 trailer made by a older retired gentleman. It has no vin #s or stickers I registered it as hand made. It's not stolen lol Btw 17 years old it's still beautiful
If its homemade, mark the trailer with multiple subtle identifiers. I used two different spray paints on the frame and created a 17 digit vin and marked it all around the frame.
why do manufactures put stickers with the vin number? stickers peel off after time. Use a punch on the metal frame and have it done in two different places on the trailer.
Can someone help out? I’m in Florida also. I’m a first time buyer of a trailer. A 5x8 carry on trailer to be exact. It came with title, bill of sale but no registration to be exact. I go to the DMV only to register it only to find out that it has never been registered in Florida. While at the DMV I was asked to show chain of ownership. The bill of sale cover me and the guy that sold me the trailer but I was told to get a receipt of purchase from the original owner or previous registration. I have no idea of where the original owner is and can’t find her on social media. Is there anyway I could get the trailer registered without the receipt from original owner? I really feel it has to be some kind of way
I only buy stolen guns. So I am good!

If it's homemade it's stolen as well according to the video.

Cause they don’t want your trailer to truly be found lol, so they can sale you another one.

I'm now going through a similar situation in Texas. Were you able to find a solution to register it?
