A magpie pair made nest close to our window, laid eggs and had chicks. I used to watch the parents constantly feed them and the birdlings growing super fast. waited to see their first flight but unfortunately I missed it. I miss that excitement and curiosity Can’t get over it. I landed in this channel to understand how and thanks for having it here. Now I feel like I witnessed the complete cycle of life
Last year a baby bird got stuck in the back yard on the concrete whatever you call it. The mother or father was flying back and forth but the little guy just couldn't fly. Two hours later it was still there. I decided to catch it in a giant box. The parent tried to attack me. I felt really bad and actually cried privately had the thought of the mother or father having to go back to the nest until the other one that their child is not coming back that day. It still tears me up today thinking about it. I found a person locally online who has a bird sanctuary and takes care of many birds that the same thing happens to. Apparently every year they received a lot of birds that get stranded because they can't fly yet. She came to pick up the bird the next day. The poor thing had a bunch of orange bugs all over its feathers. I had to buy some stuff at a pet store to spray in my car and carpet to get rid of them. I'm glad I was able to help that little bird but feel really bad for the parents.
That’s so cool. I have so many nests around my house. One is on my patio where i spend a lot of time so it’s been fun watching them grow. I was hoping to see how the babies actually leave their nest. I want to know if the parents throw them out or if they hop out. When they left the nest the first time they did it at night so in the morning I woke up and they were gone. Two weeks later the nest was occupied again with 4 more babies. Now I have a second nest with 4 more eggs and the nest on the side of my house had 5 babies now all gone. I love spring!
Hey Shawna, Thanks for sharing the story of your neighbour birds :) Even I couldn't capture the moment the baby left the nest but I did watch it and they were not thrown or kicked out :D the baby themselves take a decision and make their first jump! Btw, I created a version with audio: ua-cam.com/video/_yCHgVUTEm0/v-deo.html hope you'll like this! Have a good day!
Really true our parents are always with us they teach us to walk talk eat every thing but once we get on our own we send them to old age homes.really sad thats the time when they need us
I appreciate you that you make such video for us. How is their mom and dad are feeding them with responsibility. They have no need to any thing from their babies. But human is hope to their children to earn for us. I like it so much and enjoyed a lot.
Yeaaah! it took off finally, one happy family. very good parenting bring fresh food from nature for babies grow quickly big strong. God bless them Thank you beautiful video
Thank you for your hardwork, patience and sharing the recording of loving, caring and guidance attitude of birds & their family offsprings. Same is true for human parents & their children. It is all due the Love of their Creator "Raheem and Kareem Allah". Thanhs to the Allah for His Love towards all His creations. Subhan Allah. Alhamdu Lillah.
Love how the window image is the mother bird literally kicking the baby outta the nest to get it to fly. Reminds me of beaky buzzard from Loony Tunes when mama buzzard field goals him off the cliff lol.
We have to protect each and every, flora and fauna from the single largest predators, that is, human beings. The tiniest birds and their chicks have the privilege to live their own lives on this planet. They have their own struggles. Yet they never give up. They never grumble. They never self pity. They remain happy, chirp delightfully till the final moment of their survival. The tiniest avi fauna teach us great lessons to humans...
I found a wild baby bird in our back yard and the mother didn't take it (she/her..or him/he IDK if its a boy or a girl...!)back in so we kept it (like I said IDK if ITS a boy OR a girl) (I just started to called it a HER!!!). And now she wont shut up (I'm using my sisters account...my...OLDER sisters account) and she's a Robin and I named her Cinnamon...OK...now I'm starting to tear up ;-;
I like how even in nature the parents don’t give up on trying to guide their child. Awesome
so true!
This is amazing I am still baffled how all the animals know when it’s time for their babies to leave.
The same as your parents do, "What the f*ck you do in our basement? Get! Out!"

No difference in when it’s time for a toddler to walk.

Here to tell you that you left a comment two years ago for a timestamp that led you to a bird eating literal shit
Ah the good ol UA-cam days
That baby is going to have some food coma after a whole lizard went down!
It's just a baby
