I’m 25 year old hvac tech and I am lucky enough to have some Vaco and Xcelite that my dad and grandpa use to use back in the day! Pretty cool tools man, they scream vintage and that shits cook to me! I want to buy a new set just because of all the 3” Vacos 👌🏽
VACO Tools in the day was very popular with Field Technician’s. The kind of Techs that worked out briefcases or small boxes servicing electronics or specific components. Glad to see Klein has picked up some of the line.
Yea Vaco and Xcelite were the two main brands that were popular for that type of tech back then. I just love the old school handles and just overall quality of those tools. I wish Klein would expand on the line and make some more of the stuff they used to have.
Vaco was used largely by the electronics industry. I think that Xcelite was made in the same factory at one time. Check out the Xcelite 99 series interchangeable shafts units.
I've had pretty good luck getting permanent marker off of stuff with rubbing alcohol. If you want to try to get that name off. It might be worth a shot
That’s awesome man! It’s cool to know you guys are in to these tools too. I definitely want to find some different color handle Philips and flat heads.
Yea I know. That vaco is cool but obviously you can’t buy one of those new. If you want fully hollow shafts it’s pretty hard to find a multi set. Even the vaco isn’t fully hollow. That would be money if it was. I wish somebody would make a multi set with hollow shafts.
Yea the old ones are the best. The new stuff is still good quality though. I like that Klein is still committed to making the classic style screwdrivers and stuff.

THE BEST
I have a lot of VACO tools that I've had for many years. Good tools in my opinion.
I have been a big fan of them ever since I found that first screwdriver.
I have used the same flip flop screwdriver you like professionally in the airlines for 10 years now. It is always in my pocket.
That’s awesome! That thing is one of my all time favorite tools.
The video we've all been waiting on!
I’m so glad you guys love this stuff as much as I do!
The best quality handles make Vaco screw drivers to be the best choice.
I agree! I love the old school acetate handles.
Nice little set of Vaco & Xcelite tools . I have some as well ... Thx ...
Thanks dude! I use them all the time.
VACO RULES.

I’ve got a couple of the pieces to a 99 set and a handle. I’m working on that collection. I love those sets. Some day I will have a full one!
I am working on a set as well.
The newer sets do have 1/2 '' too.
I would like to get a set where can I buy them, thank for the info 😎😎

I’ll have to try that out. Thanks man
I HAVE A GOOD COLLECTION....................FINE TOOLS. GOT MY FIRST PHILLIPS 53 YEARS AGO IN BROOKLYN. GREEN HANDLE.
That’s awesome man! It’s cool to know you guys are in to these tools too. I definitely want to find some different color handle Philips and flat heads.
THE PHILLIPS HEAD....P 20 AND SUPER GREEN HANDLE.
I've been looking for a good multi nut driver. I cant fit all those hollow nut drivers in my tool bag. It would just be way too bulky.

@@realworldtoolreviews I did buy the Makita sockets cuz of you. They seem to work great!
GOT MORE STUFF
You did?
I rather stick with the old vaco
