Quick Tip 39: Project Soundtrack

In this C4D Quick Tip we look at how we can create a special track on the timeline, that can contain a sound file. This also has the added advantage of displaying a waveform, this makes animating to music much easier.

Does the sound export with the render? That's the problem I have.

If you render out as a video format and make sure the "Include sound" checkbox is ticked in the render settings, then yes. Although I'd stress that rendering video files is not a very good idea, if you have a crash or your computer freezes up you lose the entire file, I always render out as an image sequence and add the sound in post.
