    Well done Graeme and Co. I had a little chuckle when I noticed your shiny new tripod and thought back to that cobbled - together wooden one you used in the whiting session during series 1. How things move on! Reminds me of my first rod stand - a cobbled - together wooden contraption, as it happens, inherited from my grandfather. Good fishing lads; please keep them coming for those of us frustrated by the constraints of work!

    Hi graeme love the videos I've been sea fishing a lot recently and have had some big bites but I never seem to bring in the fish. Ive been using different rigs like two hook flapper and pulley rigs but I can never seem to get the hook set.. The hooks I have been using are Aberdeen 3/0s.. Any tips would be greatful x

    • @spunkie2010
      @spunkie2010 9 років тому +1

      Do you let the bite "develop"? Generally if the bite is big enough and its developed the fish will generally dislodge the weight giving a slack line or drop back bite. Make sure you feel in all the slack line , reel the rod tip down so the rod is straight and the line is tight, only then lift the rod to set the hook. Failing this, try using some different hooks. I like using the varivas big mouth hooks, available at Veals Mail Order of the sakuma manta hooks. Hope this helps, tight lines Mark

    you call those rocks dangerous? you serious, try fishing at Steep Point WA

    • @TAFishing
      @TAFishing  9 років тому +2

      Seb Chada Not the height of the rocks,but the danger of slipping on wet weed and mud covered areas.Slip over,crack your head,unconcious,and the tide comes in fast here .2nd fastest in the world.So the rocks don't need to be dangerous to cause a major problem. We do have steep rocks as well.Check out the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland,or the rocks the Portuguese fish off at Sagres.

      but they are bloody dangerous m8! the Bristol channel ( somerset and south wales ) AND the English Channel ( the south coast ) have some of the most dangerous rock marks in the UK if not Europe!
