For those of you wondering why Alex takes so much damage at Stage 3, a "Great!" victory was required to face Kuma at Stage 4. For all others, they face Roger or Alex when they meet that requirement.
Never thought I'd see you play in Sky Mode, Maina. It fits Alex's concept as a character like a glove. It was an interesting feature that not many people were aware of back then. It's even more interesting how Tekken 2's development team might have acknowledged this feature as part of the game since it's early stages. I can imagine the producers saying something among the lines of "This mode is a MUST! Because we already have a devil, a kangaroo, a dinosaur and a bear fighting actual people, everyone will think Tekken 2 is too bizzare, not to mention we have one more patrcide attempt! We will make a mode where everyone is Chibi!"
It is awesome to know people still remember the Motion Picture. I think one Kazuya's last lines to "Rex" was "You oughta keep your mouth shut" before tearing him in two through his jaw. That movie was a bizzare mix of wierd and cool with a modest dose of confusion.
I don't know what the parameters or whatnot are needed to do a TAS for game, but it'd be neat if Maina could these for Tekken 6, Tag 2, and Tekken 7. I'd love to see the kind silliness one could do in those games. Not saying I want the older stuff to stop, mind you.
As I remember, Alex's voice is actually taken from an asset CD that contain animal voices. He has a panther voice, yeah. Only original voice he has is his dying sound.
The dinosaur lover in me wants Alex back, even though I know a good portion of the community would consider him a waste of a character slot and he is painfully scientifically inaccurate. I honestly think Alex looks and sounds better in Tekken 2 and Tag 1 than he does in Tag 2. He seems to only have the mountain lion snarl and looks saggy in Tag 2. Though I don't know why Alex makes a rattlesnake rattle when he grabs people here. So Sky Mode is essentially Chibi mode. Neat. It makes Kaz and Heihachi sound adorable. It takes Michelle from hot to cute but that's okay.
I wouldn't have an issue with Alex coming back of they made him more original. I think he would be a much more versatile character if they made him ditch the boxing gloves and made him a more Raptor like by using moves with his teeth and claws kind of like a 3D version of Riptor from Killer Instinct instead of him just being an exact clone of Roger.
Only in Tekken can you say that a anthropomorphic dinosaur defeated the devil by hitting him with a tombstone piledriver while both were in Big Head Mode and had high pitched voices

For anyone that tries to activate this cheat themselves, if you want YOUR OPPONENT to get juggled high, you have to do the code on their side, on their controller. If you want to juggle Player 2, Player 2's controller has to hold Select + Up. You'll hear a sound effect when the code activates. However, Select also activates Big Head Mode. Because of this button mapping oversight, you can never activate Sky Mode juggles without activating Big Head Mode. To deactivate these cheats without doing a soft reset to the main menu or hard reset to do console's power, just change to another character for your next match or Practice Mode session. Just wanted to save myself and future players a headache from thinking the code doesn't work.

Interesting to know that Jack-2’s higher-pitched voice here in “Sky Mode” is how the Jacks’ original voice sounded in _Tekken 3_ and onwards.
