Thank you Euge for your introduction and opinion on the 3rd dimension. I bought it this week and am now very excited.
The comparisons between the original Dimension D and the Klark Teknik unit were always concluded with the fact that the bass would be thinner with the Klark Teknik. Your examples don't show this behavior at all and the examples on voice and guitar in particular really blew me away.

I have one, needs a level/gain knob IF you're going to use it for a live rig or similar. Doesn't matter in studio.
An external effects loop buffer with level controls would solve those problems.
I think you mean wet/dry knob, which I think makes the unit completely useless for most people. Effects loop.. maybe, but probably not because it would likely be far too noisy for most applications, since there's no way to control the button presets.. and that totally blows IMO
@@ShadovvV don't mean wet/dry. You can't do that with chorus because how chorus is constructed. I mean I want the same level with unit on and off.
@@christianutter5383- Who wouldn't want to control how much of the effect they want from a pedal? That's what a wet/dry is for. Of course you can control how much chorus effect you'd have if it had that knob. It would be a no brainer really..

Cool 🤘 do you have to use a converter or can you use speaker out channel on the interface and return it to a input channel?
I use Ferrofish Pulse 16 converter and haven’t tried, or thought about trying what you asked, so no experience on that 😎.
Only issue for me is, the unit doesn't have a wet/dry knob, which is pretty much a deal breaker for me because there isn't any way to control the button presets. That being said, if the unit had a wet/dry knob, I would purchase it in two seconds, no questions asked.
You didn’t watch the video? Aux/fx sends like any effect and you can control it just the way you want. Like I did in the video with bass, guitars & vocals.
@@EugeValovirta230V- Yep, I get that part.. but if the guitarist doesn't have a mixer or wants to use it while tracking, a wet/dry knob would still be essential.
Then the producer probably says that we’ll record this dry and add what is needed when mixing. Or if the guitarist wants to listen to that while playing then aux/fx.
@@EugeValovirta230V - True.. but then you're also talking about D/A to A/D again. lol Most home users are just A/D and then ITB or in-the-box after that. I get the whole external hardware thing though, but to me that's more about polishing a raw recording or raw mix, which is essentially almost like mastering while you're mixing.
This product, like pretty much all products, isn’t for everyone. I like it a lot as it is a very good mixing tool.
Hey Euge, which mode do you run this in, mono (like the original) or stereo?
The original is also in stereo/mono ’cos the stereo thing is the whole idea to get wide dimension sounds. So in stereo always.
Sorry let me elaborate. I think the original was mono in, stereo out. But the Clark teknik can have either mono in stereo out or stereo in stereo out. Might be worth checking out the difference. Love your channel btw. Learning so much!

Wrong. On my solo album, that this song is from, they’re played and I haven’t used Addictive Drums in years. If not played / real drums I use SD3 or Bogren’s Krimh drums.

Nope. He said the only thing he doesn't like about it is there isn't any wet/dry knob, which I totally agreed with. It's completely useless if you can't control the amount of effect the box is using, since every mix is different. That means you would have to find a work around if there was too much of he "dimension" effect being applied because there's no way to control the button presets on the box.
Use it on an AUX/FX send/track like any effects (parallel comp, voc dlys & revs etc etc) like I use (and pretty clearly showed that in the video) and you can control it just the way you want.
