I’m not sure how I only just now found this, but this is really touching. I started losing interest in guitar back in the mid 2000s and then I discovered COB. I can credit Alexi with single-handedly reigniting my passion to play guitar again and I’ll be forever thankful for that. I’m sorry for your loss Euge.

I have watched like 2 videos of this guy Euge Valovirta a few months ago, I quickly knew he was Finnish, maybe the accent or he actually told in one video. Today I'm just watching my youtube feed and I saw this title "A SONG FOR AN ABSENT FRIEND" a video from 5 days ago I automatically knew that we're talking about the Wildchil Laiho. I'm not familiar with Euge's content and he didn't need to name Alexi in any way to me to understand. I look at the comments and I was right. Music connect us between borders, religions, countries, races and cultures. This is beautiful. Seems like Alexi was your friend, sorry for your lost. I still can't believe that my hero is gone. Boys and Girls, get some RR V style guitar, a punk rock attitude and have fun and shred that guitar around, that's Alexi's legacy. RIP Wildchild.
