    Minute 54:24; Tai Situpa says that body is illusory because it comes out of five elements: water, fire, earth, air, space. What about consciousness?. The body is also made out of consciousness, or is not?. Is it not due to consciousness all forms of life come to be?. Is it not out of consciousness everything takes shape?. When our body leaves, is it not consciousness the carrier of our karma?.

    • @MoMagha
      @MoMagha 3 роки тому +4

      Consciousness as a word is inadequate in many ways. But we can use intelligent life force instead if this helps. The body consisting of the 5 elements as you have mentioned cannot operate in the absence of this intelligent life force and hence when this exits the body, the body becomes in-sentient. This life force is perhaps what you are calling as consciousness. Yes this conscious life force does gather these illusory bodies based on past conditioning and desires, however nothing here is permanent because of the illusory phenomenal nature of all experiences associated with the body mind complex.

      @@MoMagha ; So then, there is something beyond consciousness. Is that thing we all sense there at a certain stages of sitting (meditation, zazen, Mahamudra) what you call “Life Force”?. If this is what you meant according to my very limited living experience on it, that thing is not intelligent or ignorant but something one can not put into words to explain it. However, I like your expression “Life Force” (without the qualifying adjective intelligent) very much.

      Busca por Lama Tsondru de Barcelona. Únete a sus clases de los martes en You Tube. Mira en la descripción de cualquiera de sus vídeos dirección. Ella transmite todo lo que le han ido transmitiendo más su propia experiencia personal a través de muchos años de práctica. A ella también le gusta y escucha a Tai Situpa. Así pues te conviene asociarte con ella si no sabes inglés.

      Alternativamente, podrías clicar en “cc” para subtítulos en inglés, escribirlo en papel y después llevarlo al traductor de Google. Si esto mucho trabajo entonces dale a “forward” hasta el minuto 1:15 y comienza desde hay que es donde El Maestro da las instrucciones de la práctica de ser puesta en acción desde ahora mismo. En budismo lo más útil es la práctica.

    Is consciousness an illusion?.

    • @StimParavane
      @StimParavane 6 місяців тому

      It has not material form so how could it be illusory?

    • @lorenacharlotte8383
      @lorenacharlotte8383 6 місяців тому

      @@StimParavane ; When you say “material form”, do you you mean a physical form?. A thought doesn’t have a physical (material) form and yet if one gets engaged into it one gets caught into the illusion world.
