Thank you Markie, I really appreciate your comments and feedback 🙏🙏🙂 I adore Ladies Bath Falls and this place is one of my favourite Victorian places to visit. I'm glad that you found the video helpful and enjoyed it. Thanks for your support!
Hi Brett, hope you're well. It probably looked a little more risky than it actually was! I'm big advocate of taking care of ourselves and our gear out there... Although I don't seem to mind a good rock scramble every now and again 😅 Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
😂 sorry to disappoint you there Peter - but that possibility was always in the back of my mind!!! Thanks and I hope you enjoyed your little break from photography and making videos 🙏 🙏👍
Another fantastic video Val. I loved seeing you clamber around those rocks, makes me wish I was out there. Inspiring. I loved the story you told, the way you described her - that was one of my favourite parts. Very insightful. Wonderful images you came away with! Well done and Congrats!
Hi Pia, it was good fun wading around out there 😊 Really glad you enjoyed that story telling element and really appreciate your comments and support! 🙏🙏
Thanks for your comments Eason 🙏🙏 Mt Buffalo is one of my favourite places in Victoria - there's so much to see and do there, all year around. I'm glad it's brought back fond memories for you and I hope you do get a chance to go back there soon!
Great job Val, beautifully shot, wonderfully narrated with some stunning imagery to top it off. Loved every second, glad those gum boots were high enough though, I thought the water might top them once or twice. Have a great weekend 🙏🙏🙏
Hello Izzy, hope you're well. Thanks so much for your feedback and awesome support - really appreciate it! 🙏🙏🙏 Funny you say that, as some parts were deeper than expected and I did get my gumboots topped with water 😅 Should have made a bloopers reel! Have an enjoyable weekend! 👍
Really well done video with great advice. Love the way you walked us through the story telling aspect. Those rocks looked slippery. I might have to add a helmet as my 5th item 🤕. Great job again 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you for showing these wonderful waterfalls, I enjoy taking pictures of waterfalls and it is good to watch how other people get inspired and talk about their experiences. Great job.
Many thanks for your comments🙏🙏 Great to hear that you also enjoy capturing waterfalls - I often find them relaxing and great fun. Always happy to share my landscape photography experiences 🙂
Waterfalls are so much fun to photograph! I liked your approach of exploring different angles and also not being afraid to get in the water a bit! My favorite composition from this video was the one around 9:45. Another great video Valerie, good job!
Hi ZJ, they are great fun to shoot, aren't they?! I do enjoy rolling up my sleeves and getting into the thick of things at times - a bit of an adrenaline rush 😆 Appreciate your comments as always 🙏🙏
Nice adventure with good dedication shown Valerie 🙂 I like the water motion shown, usually prefer it to super smoothed waterfalls. Glad you and your gear made it out all dry😁
Hi Pieter, I'm also glad I got through it standing upright and my gear intact 😅 Sometimes I find that I do like it super smooth... it just depends I guess! Thanks for watching and your comments 🙏🙏
Nice presentation Valerie. Free tip with your tripod is to swap the rubber feet out for spikes. They bite into the rock as well as the sand. I have 4 tripods and they all have spiked feet fitted.Rubber feet are great for indoors. Not so much outside. Cheers
Hi Glenn, hope you're well and thanks for your comments and the tip! 👍🙏 Spiked feet are definitely the way to go in these sort of settings. I do have built in spikes in my tripod, but they're really shallow... So not the best. Would be great if I could swap them out. Glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
Hello Colin, she's bit of an under-rated beauty of a fall isn't she? You took some beautiful photos there yourself! Many thanks for your kind words and support! 🙏🙏 Still an incredible amount to learn, but am very much enjoying the journey 😊
Hey Valerie, Nice video with thoughtful and clear walkthroughs of your shots. You had me super nervous with how deeply your tripod was planted for that last shot. 😅 Glad your gear made it out safely. Nice wrap up at the end. Hope you enjoyed the snow after. Are you skiiing/snowboarding or shooting?
Hi Shaun, it seems like I made a few people nervous with my photography that day, yourself included 😅 It probably looked a bit riskier than it was - I do take calculated risks, but lots of care is always needed around water! I was heading on a snowboarding trip and squeezed in a bit of shooting and filming - not sure yet how it's going to turn out 😉 As always, appreciate your comments and take care 🙏🙏
waterfalls are oneof my favoutrite subjects in landscape photography. I'm trying to photograph all of them in my region, but I think will be really hard to achieve that.
Hi Giuseppe, thanks for your commenting 🙏 I can totally understand why they're one of your favourite subjects to capture! That sounds like a fantastic and challenging project - that would be a very satisfying achievement! You have lots of waterfalls in your region?
@@ValerieMisaPhotography Hi Valerie! Yes, we have got a lot of waterfalls but only during the winter and mostly when it rains a lot. Unfortunately last winter was pretty dry so many waterfalls didn't come out.
This has to be one of your finest videos in terms of endeavour and content Valerie‼️Love it a lot and learnt a lot 👏👏👏🌻
Thank you Markie, I really appreciate your comments and feedback 🙏🙏🙂 I adore Ladies Bath Falls and this place is one of my favourite Victorian places to visit. I'm glad that you found the video helpful and enjoyed it. Thanks for your support!
Valerie, I like the low angle images, it adds a bit more dynamics to the composition ...
Well done ...
Hi Libork, agree - I prefer them too. Appreciate your feedback 🙏
Beautiful Valerie! You make climbing over those slippery rocks with thousands of dollars of gear in your hands look easy! lol
Hi Brett, hope you're well. It probably looked a little more risky than it actually was! I'm big advocate of taking care of ourselves and our gear out there... Although I don't seem to mind a good rock scramble every now and again 😅 Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
Super images. I would have slipped and fallen!
Thanks Stuart 🙏🙏 I was close to slipping a few times! Slow and steady was the way to go 🐢😁
Lovely work, Valerie - and not an easy shoot at all. I kept expecting you to go A over T in that river!
😂 sorry to disappoint you there Peter - but that possibility was always in the back of my mind!!! Thanks and I hope you enjoyed your little break from photography and making videos 🙏 🙏👍
The forest, the waterfall are beautiful,,👍💕💕
Thank you and glad you enjoyed it Victor 🙏🙏 I find that forests surrounding waterfalls are always so beautiful!
So beautiful and peaceful ... well except when you make me a little nervous as you waunder through the stream/river. You're a real talent.
😅 Not to worry Charles, I am careful out there...most of the time anyway!! Thank you for watching and for your kind comments 🙏🙏

Great photos, Valerie! You really captured the motion of the water in those falls!
Hello Rick, appreciate your comments 🙏🙏 The water flow was wonderful - it gave me a lot of shutter speed options to play with 😁
Well done Valerie, thank you

That's right - sounds like you're familiar with the tripod?
Great work Valerie. Lady's Bath is a beautiful location and you captured it so well.
Another great vlog and congrats on the 1k subs.
Well deserved!

I like photos that are tack sharp. Blurry photos do nothing for me.
Thanks for your comment Eric. I understand, we all have our preferences, so each to their own 🙂
