Personally, my thought (since last year) was that Ukraine vs Canada vs USA vs UK would be great. Still 4 proper nations and I could personally see any of them win. Or maybe Europe vs. NA?
There isn't enough female Europeans as opposed to Olga as far as I know she is only one who in europe who does strong women regularly, which is understandable as it's something she had dedicated he life to

Totally agree, we (Canada) have so many unseen athletes that are capable of being competitive at a world level like that
I would like to see different nations compete. The Ultimate Strongman team comp was a great example of multiple nations competing

UK didn't really win tug of war that easily because they were that much stronger. They just had a massive size (weight) advantage.
As for adding a European team, that doesn't really work if they still call it "World's Strongest Nation". And if they switch to "World's Strongest Continent" then the US could combine with Canada for a really powerful team. Maybe instead they could do an undercard of 4-person teams (3 men, 1 woman) to include other countries that have top athletes but less depth. Imagine a team of Oleksii,, both Pavlos, and Olga, or Mitch, JF, Maxime, and Sam!

No. Europe is not a nation it's a continent. Even if you push the goal posts and say European Union, then that's something else entirely. It's a vast political, economic, and security partnerships between many nations on the European continent but still not a nation.

I bet iceland and poland could pull together decent small teams as well, although im not sure about their women's scenes

In my opinion, the reason why WSN between US and UK works is because of the long existing "rivalry" between the two countries. As shown in the recent competition, all that was amped up and made for a show that was heavy in competitive spirit. I don't think the teaming would be balanced well If you included all of Europe into a single team against other nations who don't have a plethora of countries like the European continent does.
I am up for the idea of multiple nations/countries/continents competing but then we'd have to make it an entirely different competition.
WSN narrows down the athletes and teams to focus solely on this "UK vs US" rivalry that has always existed and the hype comes from that spirit of either side competing with that rivalry in mind. I can't think immediately of any other nations and countries that have a long existing rivalry that would make for an intense competitive show at the moment, but it would be cool so I won't disregard the idea. But yeah, that's the whole idea behind WSN.

The team event is a fun event all round. Although competitive it needs to keep that aspect. They should run a team comp league with matches taking place at different times in the year. Canada vs Europe (ex Apr), UK vs America (Aug) with the winner from each group, UK vs Europe (Nov) battling it out. Or run it like a World Cup Qualifier group but with less faffing.
US vs Cananda vs UK vs Ukraine as a four way comp would be sweet

A team from Australia and/or new Zealand is a possibility. The only problem is the logistics, the numbers, and the quality of competitors. Strongman/strong woman communities are quite small here in Australia and it costs a lot to run competitions.
Hopefully in upcoming years our sport will grow more in Australia and New Zealand 🤞
@@LalasBrothers hope so, Australia's strongest needs to promote the sport more than before since Australia lost the arnies.
I think right now we can support a Canada, US, UK and Europe team. It may not be able to stay at 8 athletes, but making teams of 6-7 in a 4-way battle would only make a better competition.
4 team battle would be very exciting to watch.
Really fun comp. Uk lost it in the first 2 events, USA were so fast. Evans brought the hype for sure, Gav worked his ass off too. Kevin record was amazing and Lucy's DL was just phenomenal. Lots of options to develop this format. Could do a UK, US and instead of Europe, a World team that way you could include the Canadians, Europeans and other counties. Be a good selection of both top men and women as a World team.
I think if you include a world team you could have Mitch, Hafthor, Mateusz, Oleksii, Pavlo, Olga, Mel, Sam. Stacked team😂
If you cherry picked the world to go against the UK and USA teams and got the top guys it would likely be a lopsided victory for the World.

Kevin had the nicol stones record and broke it twice but was recently beaten by Eddie Williams he holds the replica dinnie records but he has yet to do the ones in scotland which i hope he does do it soon

WUS is done. To me the whole situation with this organisation looked like IFSA 2.0.

Not a bad idea, but couple of thing probably can't happen. Firstly Thor as we know doesn't have a good relationship with Giants Live, so i don't think that he would want to be involved in team competition. Secondly when it comes to JF, he had some health issues in his last competition and from what i know it was pretty serious, so I won't be surprised if he calls it a day when it come to competing in strongman.
@LalasBrothers i knew jf did something but didnt know it was that bad.. real shame .. legend no matter what .. and i know thor said in a interview he will not do anything with giants live .. but that was a while ago ... he has not long ago been chatting with colin ... maybe with his return .. later in the year next year he could suprise us
It wouldn't surprise me at all if Thor will compete in Giants Live, we actually made a video a while ago speculating that Thor might compete in Giants Live and we received a lot of backlash for it. But my point was, that money talks and if Colin offers Thor good deal, than everything is possible.

I think Canada is the only country that could compete with uk and USA and would probably beat both of them. “Team Europe” wouldn’t make sense
Than hopefully next year Canada will be in the mix.
Ukraine, with the Pavlos and Oleksii and they have some really good strongwomen too.

They need to put more open women in on the US side. Or if you want to have lighter weight class athletes, make it equal on both sides.
There isn't many Victoria Long was ment to compete but she had to pull out due to work reasons (she told me herself) and also she hasn't competed since the Arnold's I hope she competes in the UK soon
