I like, that he came to germany as a band from my favourite city in the us, san Francisco!!!!!!
Santana is one, who everyone loves and santana loves europe very i guess, he is woldwide accepted. He is a so gentle and thankful person. I like carlos till my death.
Truly wonderful
I was station in Germany and I went to this concern it was awesome, he's done such, thanks Carlos
Santana. You are Awesome.
I was there and reason concert was this short? Audience was requested to use flash cameras as much as they wanted in opening number and then to please stop. Hamburg failed us, maybe they did not understand? Flashes went nuts during second number and by then Carlos had a "oh eff it look" and they did their thing and split. Still great music today! Thanks for posting this and for the memory.
Santana n Carlos evergreen I salute you , grate music. No words.

For last, the best concert ever was a concert at the hallenstadion in zürich örlikon switzerland, three hours without any preband.
I have seen Santana that year in Ludwigshafen am Rhein Friedrich Ebert Halle
cool
Pablo Tellez on bass, great musician don’t know why he only play a short time with Santana.
And 2yrs w/MALO TOO?!
No matter the lineup Santana always sounds great as a unit!
That Yamaha sounds so much better than the wimpy PRS.
Next to Michael Shrieve, Graham Lear was the best drummer Santana ever had, IMHO.
Sorry , but Lear was , and will always be a superior drummer to Shrieve
on se kova
best band of Santana
Tom coster on keyboard . The brain in the band.
since than I want to own a Yamaha SG Guitar...., forget that north american stuff...
@ Santana - 12/10/76 - Ernst-Merck-Halle
Cameraman was high? Or that was the filming way by that time?
short lived singer luther rabb on vocals..
Leon Patillo is only on the record. On this tour is Luther Rabb on vocals.
Greg Walker sang the opening song "Carnival" on another album.
@@gustavmonger On Moonflower they added Greg Walker's vocals in the studio to replace Rabb on recordings from this tour.
@@gustavmonger on festival
@@patbuzby968 don’t think that’s correct, it’s walkers voice live also
Graham Lear#1
The Concert September.1975 in berlin wasnt recorded, right?
there was Earth Wind and fire at the beginning
Was Byron Miller the bassist for this year?
Pablo tellez
The german people is the best and most interrest audience worldwide for me. Have you succes in germany, you have it worldwide only as a international group like santana. Germany is a very reach country, also switzerland. Finito
Carlos transitioned from his L6-S Borbolletta guitar he played 1974-75 to this incredible Yamaha 2000 with the mother-of-pearl Buddha inlay (!) Still using a Les Paul now and then.
In fact it is the Yamaha SG 175B (B for Buddah) he plays here. The base for the later Yamaha SG-2000 that he developed together with Yamaha
is that pete escovedo on timbal or chepito..??
figured it out myself....its chepito...
29:38 :( bad night
The amp doesn't sound right either. Maybe weird power in the venue?
Rare Carlos Error 404 lol !
yeah.......and at 43:44 Carlos and the band are out of sync.......you can see Carlos shaking NO
I saw this store here in Cincinnati. they were sandwiched in between Lynyrd Skynyrd and Ted Nugent, both who I didn't like. I think Leon Chancellor was the drummer however
The setlist is missing "Let the Children Play" and "Jugando" after Carnaval
I think you need to watch it again because they are there. Let The Children Play @2:29 and Jugando @5:42. They're just not listed separately in the chapters.
The only fact is, he play very expensive prs guitars, they sounds good, but i play only Gibson les paul standard. Finito.
Carlos could play a banjo or a 100 USD guitar and would still sound like Carlos. He is playing his Yamaha SG-175B in this period. Great guitar with tons of sustain.
Worst concert camera work ever!!! Totally clueless who's playing what !!
Poor AC/DC...they got the wrong name.....
