I discovered two ingredients I'm allergic too recently. The first one is chamomille. IT'S EVERYWHERE. I didn't know it was an allergy so I bought all the "sensitive skin" products... Which ALL contain chamomille! At first it was a mild rash but as I kept applying it my skin got worse and worse. The rashes would burn and my skin felt raw. It was in my shampoos, body wash, face products, hair care... Eventually I tried a cream made of 70-80% chamomille and I felt like my skin was about to peel off. I FINALLY made the connection. I also found out a lot of things are derived or similar to chamomille, like blue tansy or alpha-bisabolol! The second ingredient was harder to pinpoint because it's in very few products and quite rare on the western market. It's coptis japonica. My skin was constantly itching because it was in such a small amount. Terrible.
I hope you find skincare that you are okay now. That sound awful! I have once tried cheap drugstore skincare that is acne prone and oil control cause my oil secreation on my face was scary A Lot!! I thought i am not dry skin due to my many oil. Now i know why my face soooo oily, i actually has extreme dry skin😅 the cheap skincare really help my sebum to not out at all, which then create me a new problem n its destroy my skin barrier. I fee u when u said your skin bout to peel off, cause its happen to me too! My face get too dry n tight, and apparently i have allergic to one of the ingredient which i belive habattus sauda, i dont know in english😅 my face was itchy and tight, then its bleed on its own due to open cut out of nowhere! I stop wearing the product after almost 1 month wearing them, but then, after 3 months later, my skin still not okay and become worst😢 everytime i try to open mouth to eat, then tight skin around my mouth will be cracked and i got cut and its super painful. (I was poor, just live alone without family, my job has really low salary, i only can focus my money on food to eat daily, thats why i dont go see doctor and just hope its be better on its own, if those who read wondering) thankfully i have lil bit money to buy some not expensive(but it was to me, due to my low money i have) a moisturizer from korea brand that has many water contect hydra lock in it etc 😂 i dont understand n remember anyway. And i watched youtube how to deal with hydrating extreme dry skin. I dont use skincare for 3 days and starting my own treatment n it worked!!!! Thank god!!!! But from that experienced, my skin barrier not recover yet even my skin look okay n yes i got my oil skin back😂 my skin indeed become sensitive but thankfully habbatus sauda is not use very widely in my country
I also reacted to chamomille extract in a Yves Rocher moisturizer. My face was red as hell, burning sensation, uh!! I washed it off after 10 min just in case it was a normal reaction. BUT I am not allergic to feverfew extract tho even if these two plants are very similar and from the same family. I am also allergic to Lavender extract in skincare products. Reasons why everytime I try a new product, I try it at the end of the day like an hour before I jump in the shower. So if I get a reaction then I'm ready to take it off anyway. Just a tip 😉
You handled that like an absolute pro. So many people freak out, and end up prolonging the irritation by scrubbing and further disrupting the skin barrier. I guarantee there are people who haven't watched this and will watch it, who will be much calmer if they run into an allergen they are sensitive to. Thank you!
Ahhh I absolutely hate that with the rise of "clean beauty," everything is full of plant extracts even if it doesn't contain essential oils or fragrance allergens. Those extracts contain the same ingredients that are in essential oils that are considered fragrance allergens. I have allergic reactions to absolutely everything. The first sunscreen, mineral or chemical, that I have EVER not had an allergic reaction to is the Purito Daily Soft Touch sunscreen. I think you said you helped formulate that, so thank you SO, so much!!
thiisss. I'm also an allergy prone person and I've noticed the same thing, I always look for products without anything plant based bc my skin is sooo reactive. I love my chemicals, syndets, silicones; the were created for a reason 😅
An allergic reaction and an irritation response is NOT the same. An allergic reaction is a systemic response to an allergen. common skin type contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, or full blown anaphylaxis. If experiencing a true allergic reaction to the face, I would not recommend slathering more products. Of course you want to remove allergen, but you need to take an antihistamine and then go to your ER. If your face swells, you want to make sure your airway stays intact and doesn’t swell as well. Again, irritation vs allergies. There’s a difference.
Not all allergic reactions are systemic. Anaphylaxis obviously is and is the most serious as it can affect the airway. You actually in your comment described several allergic type reactions that are in fact localized. This seems like a localized contact type hypersensitivity. The redness flushing and swelling appears to be in the area which he applied the product. Adding a soothing agent or even an occlusive to keep the skin from drying out as well as removing the offending agent are good to do. Not all allergic reactions are mast cell dependent so a knee jerk reaction of taking an anti histamine may not be the best advice. Of course if this gentleman went on to wheezing or trouble breathing he should go to the ER. His symptoms seemed to subside after mainly he removed the offending agent. So I don’t see anything horribly wrong in what he did. Likely if he exposes his skin to the offending agent again since he’s sensitized now he may indeed have a systemic response so he should just avoid that agent
So what cause one persons skin to become irritated over anothers if exposed to the same exact ingredients?? All controls the same. Can you say... an allergic response? What are your credentials?

I used to get allergic reaction to EVERY skincare product until I started taking Milk Thistle as a supplement. Now I can use anything. I don’t know the exact science of it, but I guess the liver has something to do with the skin 🤷🏼♂️ Hope it helps you too 🙏🏼
milk thistle is known in chinese medicine to be a hormone balancing/hormone regulating ingredient and also is a great ingredient for liver support. your liver is responsible for processing toxins (hence detoxing) so for people who deal with overreactive histamine responses it could help! Tons of skin issues are actually linked to the gut as its one of the 3 immune systems in our body
Ever since I discovered the hard way that I was allergic to something in the lanege lip butters (which makes me sad bc they smelled amazing and were super moisturizing) I've always started patch testing new products. Don't want this reaction all over my whole face 😅 I know patch testing isn't 100 percent, because something can react fine on your neck but your face hates it, but it's saved my face on more than one occasion.
The laniege sleep mask was horrible for me! Face and neck covered in hives. I tried it 3 times to make sure and then pitched it. Not sure what is in there but my skin hates it.
@@Joannabanana1989 Omg I am so glad it isn't just me, I haven't heard from anyone else who had a reaction to their products. Everyone seems to love them. I'm suspecting it's maybe the murumuru seed butter? Since that's not exactly a common ingredient, pretty much everything is the same stuff you find in other lip products, the microcrystalline wax, the Shea butter, etc. It took me so many weeks for my lips to finally completely heal 😭
That sounds miserable. Maybe it is that ingredient? I have been scared to try their products again. The only lip reactions I have had were to tea with orange oils. At the time, I had no idea why my lips were swelling and had hives. Then I heard somewhere that citrus oils could bother some people. I still have a scars on and around my lips because I drank the tea for a while without knowing it was from that. Are their any citrus oils in the sleep masks??
@@Joannabanana1989 I don't know about citrus oils, maybe in one of the citrusy scents? I would assume if you are sensitive to citrus oils you wouldn't buy the grapefruit or lemonade one, though. 😅 I used the gummy bear, which smelled so divine, but it wasn't worth the reaction lol. It just had raspberry juice and grape juice in it. But yeah, i won't use any of their stuff again, not even other face products. It isn't worth the risk.
I also discovered certain popular ingredients doesn't suit my skin as well...like niacinamide (it felt so tingling on my face), fermented thing( made me broke out🙄) and snail (also made me broke out really badly)
@@sabinayasmin7924that product is known for having wayyyy too high of a percentage, definitely recommend trying it again but not as the main ingredient. Niacinamide works best as a team player
@@sabinayasmin7924a lot of people actually cannot tolerate high percentages of niacinamide well, it dosen't mean the ingredient dosen't work well for your skin, it just means your skin isn't a fan of it at a high concentration. it's like the difference between having a cup of chocolate milk vs drinking 6 cups of chocolate milk, your stomach obviously may not react well to that much, but it dosen't mean you cant drink chocolate milk.
Finally a video on this, I have severe grass pollen allergy as well as various food allergies and intolerances and no one ever told me how there’s cross allergic reaction, not only with foods, but also ingredients in skincare. What happens when we are left to our own devices to make decisions about products when the majority of us are not certified derms and estheticians. I also have diabetic skin which I learned recently breaks havoc on skin, hair and nails, plus being deficient in vitamin D, and the latter is if not the only, then the most important vitamin for not just your body, but your skin, which if deficient can actually lead to diabetes type 2. For the longest I thought I had Rosacea and fungal acne. Turns out diabetic skin has similar and overlapping symptoms yay! So I can hardly use anything in my skin, nor can I eat most things either😭😭😭
Ouch! As an RN though, for a reaction of this magnitude, I am not going to apply other cosmetic ingredients on top of this possibly making it worse or prolonging healing. I will go directly to over the counter hydrocortisone 1% or 0.5% cream. Fast, safe, effective. Usually by the next morning is mostly gone. I only have to use it max two days.
Except hydrocortisone, or other corticosteroids, should not be used on the face unless directed by a healthcare provider. This can exacerbate and/or cause a number of conditions. The safest option would be to stick with pure petrolatum.
@@ryanmartin3012yep, I'm currently dealing with a reaction to cortisone on my face. It was to treat a reaction to silicone scar gel. I look like a tomato.
I had an allergic reaction to a cream I got from Walmart and uhhh... my skin got super puffy, super red, and IT GAVE ME WRINKLES AROUND MY EYES! The wrinkle is the one that goes from the corner of your eye and kinda goes down and traces the undereye skin/bag area. Made me MAD! I still have them too! They aren't as noticeable now... luckily.
Swelling around your eyes can cause temporary wrinkles. Have you ever heard of angioedema? It sounds like maybe that's the sort of allergic reaction that you have. If you still have the wrinkles, your skin is likely still reacting to something.
Tip if you are using a new product that you never used before first check the ingredients and then apply a little bit on your hand and wait for about 10 minutes to make sure it’s safe!😀
But the skin on your hands is typically not as sensitive as the skin on your face or neck, so this doesn't always work. It's also best to put a bandaid over it and wait at least 24 hours!
Better to wash your face to make sure you take all trace of the stuff off than wipe with a cotton round, IMO. Plus, wiping can irritate your skin more because of the cotton’s contact on your already red and sensitized skin.
Soap would further disrupt the skin barrier. Wiping it off with something mild like like Micellar Water is likely to not irritate it anymore, when followed by a soothing repair.
I had been having those red allergy reactions ( on my cheeks only) for years, and I did many tests but nothing came out of it. Now I have products I used every time I wake up with a red face.
I love him for that because he just recommended a product that I’m willing to try for whenever I have flare ups from skincare products I try for the first time
So what? Not everyone starts crying, pissing, shitting and throwing up over a small allergic reaction. Some people probably learned something from this
My skin can't tolerate AHA BHA 😢 I'm suffering right now. I'm just using cleanser once after returning home. Sunscreen is a must for these days, even during evening if you are someone who stays under high levels of bright lightning. Use a soothing gel cream. I use cosrx snail mucin. It's a lifesaver. If you have, use a ceramide barrier cream.
This happens to me too! All the seaweed, algae, basically any protist organism hates me. The dead sea mineral trend is something to be cautious of. And then the famous Aveeno calm + restore line has feverfew extract which irritates me even more 😂
this happened to me when i was younger. i was on accutane and used creme de la mer and it was so nice and hydrating. i saw videos about nivea being a dupe and i got a horrible reaction. when i woke up my eyes were swollen and red and my whole face was puffy. 😂😂😂 crème de la mer didn’t do that lmao
for me it was teatree! i tried like so many products with it, and each time my face would turn bright red and i felt like my face was on FIRE! i didnt want to give it up tho because teatree is supposedly really good for acne..
You should drop everything and introduce them back one product at a time, then you know what product caused it. Finding the ingredient that caused it is more difficult, but at least you can get rid of the product. It's recommended you write down the ingredients, and next time you get irritation from a new product you write them down and you can check what have in common.
That is what happens to my face when I use Great Barrier Relief from Krave. I am allergic to Niacinamide- the reaction has only gotten worse over time. Which is unfortunate because it is in a lot of products now.
I have allergy extra sensitive Skin only just found out and I'm 36 but when I was 14 years old the great doctors/skin specialist diagnosed me with Rosacea
This happened to me but I had drank alcohol and it made my rosacea react and then my skin started to burn under my makeup. So I had to take it all off and then used a gel cleanser and put a balm on:(

Ok so now we’re using the Great Barrier relief for body, but on our face? Sounds like a goood hack, Ramon! I’ve used the great barrier relief and it was nice and I am currently using liquid gold and I like it but my skin is still being fussy and I’m using all stratia besides sun screen. Do you recommend I go back to GBR or get the body one and use it on my face? I feel like liquid gold is nice but my forehead always still gets dry.😮😂
I honestly still have trouble finding a product that I can go to when I get irritated. I used to reach for cicaplast but the new formulation is not as soothing 😢 in summer days I like using gels, loving bioderma atoderm intensive gel cream and isntree hyalruonic acid gel cream; they aren't moisturizing enough and they both kinda pill too but they do the cooling thing really well which in turn leads to nice soothing action
Hii, my skin reacted to the ordinary's peeling solution at first.. months later I used 2% salicylic acid serum ( which normally works for me,as I've used it in the past .) which also gave a bad reaction.. I'm not able to understand what's wrong with my skin now.. as products like these never reacted bad before. How to identify what I'm allergic to??
Hello, is there a way use products with essesntial oils even if are senstive to it? Like I get very small bumps over my face (more like my whole face gets textured) but I have to exclude a lot of product if I want to avoid essential oils/fragrance 😥😊
My go to its baby bum cream, that thick zinc paste. I had pimples and sensitive skin after sun or exfoliaion and this is the only cure for me. My teen daughter also started applying it and it helped alot with her pimples.
Okay so I’m not crazy!!! I had a bad reaction once to a Clinique product and was able to triangulate it to either a seaweed or algae ingredient. My aesthetician said that was unlikely, but the next time I used a product with marine active ingredients I had the same reaction. Staying away!
I have allergies to sunscreens and moisturizers. My whole face looks like a beetroot and I couldnt figure out why. Still trying to find something I can use and only use vaseline healing jelly right now.
I am allergic to someth I can’t figure out what is it. It give me wrinkled eye bags, I look like 150 yrs old😂. I suspect is the trentinoin but so hard to believe it . Curently I use: Trentinoin Glycolic acid Isntree mousturiser and Isntree eye cream Anyone alergic to these products ?😩
Maybe I'll sound stupid but I'll ask anyway 😄 if you are allergic to an ingredient in the product and your skin reacts like that, won't you have the same if not worse reaction when you consume that ingredient? Usually, when people are allergic to something, they must not even smell that ingredient, let alone ingest it. 🤷🏻♀️

That’s a great question! Truthfully, it is weird bc I eat seaweed and stuff no issue. So I’m not sure the mechanism behind it
@ I'd appreciate you doing a video on plant extracts in skincare. I was today years old when I noticed yam root, seaweed, natto, lotus root, okra, cactus/prickly pear, and taro - all slimy foods - are sources of phyto-mucins. Now I'm curious about what all those extracts are doing beyond marketing.
If you don't think you're allergic or sensitive to one of the products you're using, you might try patting the water off your skin with a towel, or waiting for your skin to dry completely before applying your moisturizer. I don't know why, but dermatologists always recommend that for exactly what you're describing. For some reason, products are more irritating when you apply them to wet or damp skin. I don't know the science behind it, but waiting for my skin to dry in between each products has helped with the burning and redness.
yeah i either am allergic to it or it is just really bad but the ordinary niacinimide serum i have been using (only like once a week) every time i use it i get rednees on my face and i stopped using it
Im not gonna lie matcha irritates my skin i used that same brand but their serum and cleanser and man was my face burnt red and hurt so much it could be panthenol im allergic to so i also avoid anything with that in it 😢
Until you figure it out, take a picture of the ingredients list and stored on your phone. Every time you try a new product, spot test it on your skin and monitor it for a reaction. If you find a reaction, take a picture of those ingredients as well. Try to match the ingredients that you find in both products. Keep doing it with any new products you try until you can find what is bothering your skin. Keep in mind that you may be allergic to a family of ingredients. For instance, in the video he said that what likely bothered him was a type of seaweed. There are many different types of seaweed and seaweed extracts that are used in cosmetics, so you may not recognize them as matches on two different ingredient lists if they are listed by their individual names. But let's say you find out that you are allergic to seaweed, you can look up a list of commonly used seaweed extract types that are used in cosmetics, so you know what to avoid.

Just had my 1st bad allergic reaction these past few days, no clue what it was but it was after I wore a dressing gown from my moms that it started flaring up. It's felt pretty horrid, gonna have a bath and hope for the best
The only brand of tret available in my country contains 2 fragrances, being _geraniol_ one of them. After 12 years using it, one day my skin woke up and said *ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!* 🥵🔥I' ve developed an allergy🔥. What the hell are the labs thinking about when they add unnecessary sh*t? Reactions are the most unpredictable thing🔮😭. At least, you can identify what caused it and you have an alternative. I had to swtich to retinAL because there are no more options. From 19€ to 100€ 😱😱😱.
Ceramides in natural skincare are usually derived from wheat, rice, sweet potato, yeast, oat, or coconut. Synthetic ceramides are also used. You may need to do some digging to see which ones give you a reaction and it may clue you into what you’re sensitive to.
Why would you run it off your skin when your skin is already irritated. You’re just increasing your chances of hyperpigmentation happening. Wash it with luke warm to cold water gently
😅Honey! Incase you ever run into this situation and can’t have access to your soothing creme! Get to your closest supermarket and get you an aloe plant and get to putting that gel on your irritated area! It works just the same and faster! 🥰

The prettiest eyes!!❤
Aveeno Calm and Restore Cream helps my reactive skin.
I also discovered certain popular ingredients doesn't suit my skin as well...like niacinamide (it felt so tingling on my face), fermented thing( made me broke out🙄) and snail (also made me broke out really badly)
Hi I’m curious what percentage niacinamide products did you use? Sometimes if it’s over 5% it can cause a lot of redness and irritation
@@97indianuk I've used the ordinary niacinamide which is 10%
Even my skin broke out bad after using both
@@sabinayasmin7924that product is known for having wayyyy too high of a percentage, definitely recommend trying it again but not as the main ingredient.
Antihistamine tablet and cream for acute inflammation to prevent pigmentation
The animal crossing song is killing me 😂😂😂
Finally a video on this, I have severe grass pollen allergy as well as various food allergies and intolerances and no one ever told me how there’s cross allergic reaction, not only with foods, but also ingredients in skincare.
What's about Shea Butter?
What skincare ingredients are you allergic to that are related to the grass pollen allergy?
Or benedryl
Advanced night repair serum is also a great option for incidence like this!
When my skin "over-reacts" I just use diaper rash cream with zinc. Works like a charm!
Tip if you are using a new product that you never used before first check the ingredients and then apply a little bit on your hand and wait for about 10 minutes to make sure it’s safe!😀
I’d probably wait 24 hours
Hand? No mame. I apply a dime sized area to my forehead near the hairline. Then you'll know! 😊
As a person who alergic to Aloe n propolis. I feel you 😢
That's crazy im fine with the aloe its the honey. Baby my whole head was swollen omg
Instead of wiping it off, wouldn’t it be better to wash with mild soap and cool wanter then put on the soothing cream?
Soap would further disrupt the skin barrier. Wiping it off with something mild like like Micellar Water is likely to not irritate it anymore, when followed by a soothing repair.
I had been having those red allergy reactions ( on my cheeks only) for years, and I did many tests but nothing came out of it. Now I have products I used every time I wake up with a red face.
maybe that's a Rosacea
Go to a dermatologist and ask them about it, you might have something different than you think
@@jolynekujo1286 I think it but my doctor disagrees with that.
@@arandootsarandano I'm doing that soon.
Love that your first thought was oh no I'm having an allergic reaction lemme just start recording
I love him for that because he just recommended a product that I’m willing to try for whenever I have flare ups from skincare products I try for the first time
Good content is good content!
And we love and thank him for it
@@msk-qp6fn but why tho??
😂😂😂 crème de la mer didn’t do that lmao
funny that the crème de la mer has seaweed and nivea doesn’t tho lol
Your voice is soothing 🥹
for me it was teatree! i tried like so many products with it, and each time my face would turn bright red and i felt like my face was on FIRE! i didnt want to give it up tho because teatree is supposedly really good for acne..
Could be benzoates too ? Also known as sulfites, they even in wipes!! Sunscreens, foods etc
Hey, how can we find that one product/ingredient that we are allergic among all the products we use in our routine?
You should drop everything and introduce them back one product at a time, then you know what product caused it. Finding the ingredient that caused it is more difficult, but at least you can get rid of the product. It's recommended you write down the ingredients, and next time you get irritation from a new product you write them down and you can check what have in common.
WHY IS YOUR SKIN SO NICE OMG
That is what happens to my face when I use Great Barrier Relief from Krave. I am allergic to Niacinamide- the reaction has only gotten worse over time. Which is unfortunate because it is in a lot of products now.
calamine cream can help with the pain /irritation it make it more bearable.
I have allergy extra sensitive Skin only just found out and I'm 36 but when I was 14 years old the great doctors/skin specialist diagnosed me with Rosacea
Hello, how long should it take for the redness to go away?
Bro's looks: 🗿🥵🥶
Bro's voice: 🐱✨🎀
I also have the same symptoms but I am allergic to dairy products and also mushroom
But how do you get relief from the iche in face and eyes😢😢😢
That's amazing how fast it works the rash looked so angry
Hey hows the smell for senstive skin my skin barrier is recently damaged is it gave me more acne?? ( ivw dry senstive skin)
Oohh I never thought of putting that cream on my face! ❤
Me neither good to know
This happened to me but I had drank alcohol and it made my rosacea react and then my skin started to burn under my makeup. So I had to take it all off and then used a gel cleanser and put a balm on:(
Hey i have read your comment and it seems very sensible... from past three days i have redness and dry patches on upper cheeks and from yesterday my face and eyes are also swollen and i have itchiness on my eyelids and whole face and my lips are also extremely dry and swollen.....due to acne i was on azithromycin anti biotic from past two months ...so is this the allergic reaction from the antibiotic or somethimg else plz clear my confusion....today i took an antiallergic....thanks
My Caribbean self would be cutting an aloe leaf and smearing it all over. It looks hot like fire 🔥. Poor thing
I feel like liquid gold is nice but my forehead always still gets dry.😮😂
yeah i have both and didn’t know you could use the body one for the face!
slay king 👑. you are so handsome. LOVE your energy and vibe from this
I honestly still have trouble finding a product that I can go to when I get irritated.
Plain ole Vaseline?
Curel intensive moisture face cream is my go to
Seaweed burns my skin also. I didn't realize it could cause reactions!
Don’t use them ♡♡♡
My go to its baby bum cream, that thick zinc paste. I had pimples and sensitive skin after sun or exfoliaion and this is the only cure for me. My teen daughter also started applying it and it helped alot with her pimples.
Yes, basting with Triple Paste is my personal favorite! It is wonderful for the days that I don't use retinol!
Hi will this cause clog pores
Wouldn’t it be better to wash it off as opposed to rub it off with a paper like that? That type of friction can’t be nice to your skin?
That’s exactly why you see his skin getting even more red as he rubs it. Ouch
Lightly wiping it off with something mild like like Micellar Water is likely to not irritate it anymore, when followed by a soothing repair.
I like how you didn’t panic
Thanks for the rec my skin is so sensitive to actives
Keep your skincare Simple !!
Okay so I’m not crazy!!! I had a bad reaction once to a Clinique product and was able to triangulate it to either a seaweed or algae ingredient. My aesthetician said that was unlikely, but the next time I used a product with marine active ingredients I had the same reaction. Staying away!
Same! I'm so annoyed! I love seaweed and it's a powerful ingredient.
Hey can you pls make video one sunscreen and blood brain barrier and is chemical sunscreen enters the blood stream plzz
Curently I use:
Trentinoin
Glycolic acid
Isntree mousturiser and
Isntree eye cream
Anyone alergic to these products ?😩
I think a repairing cream like cicaplast or cicalfate might work better in this situation? not sure tho
Maybe I'll sound stupid but I'll ask anyway 😄
if you are allergic to an ingredient in the product and your skin reacts like that, won't you have the same if not worse reaction when you consume that ingredient?
I'm allergic to linalool. It's in lavender. ( like lavender toliet paper ) ..... 😅 or the perfume I had that made my throat swell
That's a shame, I love lavender! I haven't found anything that I am allergic to yet, knock on wood!
what to do when the skin gets slightly red and sometimes burning when using moisturizer directly after cleansing or exfoliating?
If you don't think you're allergic or sensitive to one of the products you're using, you might try patting the water off your skin with a towel, or waiting for your skin to dry completely before applying your moisturizer. I don't know why, but dermatologists always recommend that for exactly what you're describing. For some reason, products are more irritating when you apply them to wet or damp skin. I don't know the science behind it, but waiting for my skin to dry in between each products has helped with the burning and redness.
yeah i either am allergic to it or it is just really bad but the ordinary niacinimide serum i have been using (only like once a week) every time i use it i get rednees on my face and i stopped using it
Im not gonna lie matcha irritates my skin i used that same brand but their serum and cleanser and man was my face burnt red and hurt so much it could be panthenol im allergic to so i also avoid anything with that in it 😢
I am alergic to tea tree oil BiG TIME. I get huge inflammation on contact, swelling, blisters. Ouch
Same thing happened with me...but i can't find the allergy ingredient...how do I know also little rash on my face
I get the same allergic reaction but I didn't discovered that what m allergic to, but i use ceramide cream and it works like magic

New subscriber thank you I have something called dehydrosis on my hands any recommendations?? Going to a dermatologist they have also tried a lot even putting me in a light box 🤔
Me too ! Had tried La mer years ago and had the same reaction
have you ever used nivea magic bars?
Whenever I get like a really bad reaction or chemical burn the first thing I turn to You is my bestie Vaseline 😂❤
Just had my 1st bad allergic reaction these past few days, no clue what it was but it was after I wore a dressing gown from my moms that it started flaring up.
It's felt pretty horrid, gonna have a bath and hope for the best
Not the animal crossing theme song in the background 😂
its funny you reached for great barrier relief because I am allergic to that product !! makes me swell up
Damn that krave beauty cream worked good as hell. Does it clog pores ?
Can I use Krave beauty great body relief on my face ?
Yeah
Where did you buy your Pullover
Zara I believe ❤️
The only brand of tret available in my country contains 2 fragrances, being _geraniol_ one of them. After 12 years using it, one day my skin woke up and said *ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!* 🥵🔥I' ve developed an allergy🔥. What the hell are the labs thinking about when they add unnecessary sh*t? Reactions are the most unpredictable thing🔮😭.
At least, you can identify what caused it and you have an alternative. I had to swtich to retinAL because there are no more options. From 19€ to 100€ 😱😱😱.
why would you not do a test patch on your cheek or forehead to prevent a full breakout
genuinely asking/trying to be helpful. you seem to know a lot about skin. so maybe you know something I don't.
i don't get reactions like this ever
Whenever i use a product with ceramides my skin burns. Why does this happen.
Ceramides in natural skincare are usually derived from wheat, rice, sweet potato, yeast, oat, or coconut. Synthetic ceramides are also used. You may need to do some digging to see which ones give you a reaction and it may clue you into what you’re sensitive to.
Hahaha I thought that was the desired effect. I was coming to find out how to get it 😅
Neem oil??? I’ve had this for 2. Days now
Why would you run it off your skin when your skin is already irritated. You’re just increasing your chances of hyperpigmentation happening. Wash it with luke warm to cold water gently
Oh my god, I ate sushi and then broke out in hives. I'm starting to think I might be allergic to seaweed too.
Scary how i got a seaweed face mask and i had red burning spots on my face after using it, i didn’t know that i might be allergic to seaweed..
I also have a skin allergic to seaweed, but in my situation, I breakout in a lot of painful big red pimples :(
i found out i'm allergic to birch juice after buying THE ENTIRE BIRCH JUICE LINE from round lab😂😂
😅Honey! Incase you ever run into this situation and can’t have access to your soothing creme! Get to your closest supermarket and get you an aloe plant and get to putting that gel on your irritated area!
It works just the same and faster! 🥰
Aloe is good in a pinch, but it definitely doesn't work "just the same".
Help I used an oil balancing face wash after my shower and my face is so red and it feels so hot 😭
I'm allergic so seafood, wonder if I'll be allergic to seeweed as well 😳
Having an allergy to our aloe is also painful when being interested in skincare lol

you might be allergic to panthenol. i am, and my face looks like that when i apply it.
Put some baby butt cream on your face. If it works for a baby's bottom, it's get rid of the redness on your face at night before going to bed.
I m allergic to vit c products , and anything that has fermented ingredients.
