@@josephchapman7777 Most LEO's are decent folk. If I am guilty I have zero problem admitting it - lying is stupid since they now have cameras in most every car. Be respectful and friendly and the WORST that can happen is you will be ticketed for doing what you actually did. Chances are the LEO will be pleased you didn't act like an asshat and might cut ya a break. If not, OK, pay your fine and be a man.

I've been pulled over for speeding one time ever when I was 17 - I was going 45 in a 35 apparently and the look of shock on my face must have earned me the warning I received because my car was such a piece of crap that I literally could not take it on the Interstate (yes, it failed inspection all the time and ended up being junked). Dr_T-Bagger The meme is surface, what is happening underneath is that the elite and the msm are now so discredited people openly bond via humor/ridicule. This system looks as monolithic, impenetrable, overpowering as communism did in 1988 -- to those behind the Iron Curtain at least. Our mentality back then was one of overwhelming 'Ohnmacht' (feeling utterly powerless). I'm lucky to have an orthodox community mostly of people who survived communism; we're not blackpilled, we are just fully aware that we're starting from scratch. Would have been nice if I wouldn't have to live through two system collapses, and if it wasn't such a predictable farce this time around, though.
If you absolutely need to be blackpilled, go check out Suspiscious0bservers on pole shift -- that sh!t will really give you something to despair about. Most of us probably are not going to see 2030.

Okay, so story time. Being the triple checker actually got me out of a ticket. It was my first time getting pulled over. 41/25mph zone. Officer hand wrote me a 1-5 freeway and I didn’t know what a ticket was, so I looked over it and found the address on it was very wrong. (I had moved to two different cities since) officer took my ticket and my license back to his car, comes back 10 minutes later, told me there was a computer error and that’s why it’s hand written, and that he can’t issue me a citation with a different address than what is on my license and registration and insurance, he said he’s used enough of mine and his time and told me he better not catch me again.

Haha yeah I usually say I’m sorry and thank the officer for his time, if I know I was speeding there’s no point in denying it; you don’t have to be an asshole about it.
That said, I don’t speed anymore I can thank the state I now live in for kicking my bad driving habits out of me, now I just get annoyed with snowbirds slowing down and putting their turn signal on a mile out.
I haven’t had any bad experiences with officers all except for one asshole cop who pulled me over not because I was speeding but because he saw I had Cali plates in Texas and wanted any excuse to search my car for drugs. Literally that was the only fucking reason he had, and it kinda pissed me off because wtf dude! Jfc, what an asshole. He didn’t even ask me do you know why I pulled you over, he just asked me do you have weed in the car.
No I don’t. I told him 20 fucking times! He got so flustered he called in a search dog and paraded him around my car and the dog didn’t care at all, only the funny is I know a bit about k9 units and dogs, and that was not interested in my car he was interested in the officer holding his lead which wasn’t his partner; and he did something stupid right in front of me. Now granted when asked to search my car I said no, because I have rights and don’t need someone digging through my car and if this guy is a big enough asshole to pull me over because of my plates then I have reason to believe if I said yes he’d start ripping shit apart and throwing everything out.
Either way all the other officers were cool and I had a awesome conversation with the K9 officers partner.
Now the stupid thing he did right in front of me was, since I told him no, he used the k9 as a bridge to gain access to my car under reasonable suspicion.
He asked why is the dog hitting on your car door?
Now, I saw exactly what happened; the dog didn’t care about my car or me, he wasn’t interested in anything but his handler. The handler on the other hand literally in front of my eyes kept telling the dog to jump up and up and up.
K9’s are taught to respond to commands, and if they find drugs or whatever they’re taught to search for, they will not leave that spot alone and will try to dig it out or some other alert signal.
The dog gave no alert signal, he did not care, he only responded to his command to jump up and then tried to continue walking around the car and sniff his handlers pockets.
So since I saw that whole shit show, and the handler asked me, “why is he hitting on your car”? I said, because you told him to.
And hilariously the look on his face when he realized I knew what he was up to made me laugh.
Anyways with all the ruckus and chaos, the officer who pulled me over genuinely looked like a kid who got caught sneaking cookies from a cookie jar by his parents and was so flustered he forgot to write me a ticket and drove off.
      Ugh, so much fun.
Oh well you live and you learn, I’m actually living with a officer right now and am seriously considering joining the academy. I have never met an officer who hates their job.

I've found that, typically, even in municipalities where a lot of the officers are genuinely douchebags, if you're calm, civil, and mature during your interaction, even if you legitimately did something wrong, the officer will generally be more lenient with you. Now, the cops in my community are pretty friggin awesome, but i've also dealt with officers in municipalities where they're generally not.
I was stopped by an officer in my town on my way to work once... I was driving my mom's car, because mine was in the shop. I was stopped, because the officer behind me ran the plate on my mom's car, and it seems she had forgotten to renew the registration. I calmly explained to the officer that i was on my way to work, and that it was my mother's car, and that i'd had no idea that the registration was expired, and i stated that had i known that it wasn't, i wouldn't have even taken the car out that night. He understood, and let me off with a warning, for which i thanked him, and continued on to work. In another instance, i was running late for work, and was legitimately speeding (5 over), and was pulled over in the parking lot of where i worked. Upon stopping the car, i turned it off, turned on the dome light, so the officer could see me, and what i was doing, before he even exited the cruiser, and i placed my keys on the dash, and kept my hands in plain sight. I calmly explained to the officer that i worked at the business we were sitting in front of, and that i was running a little late. He ran my information (i have no criminal record, never been written a ticket, and have no warrants), and let me off with a warning.
I was stopped in a neighboring town, known for having a small police force, made up mostly of "state police washouts".....they were mean, and not very well mannered, and unbelievably strict. I was stopped for speeding (20 over). I followed my normal routine for what you should do when being pulled over. Me and the officer talked, and as it turns out, the sign that would have otherwise let me know that the speed limit had changed from 55 to 35, had been vandalized, as verified by the officer that the one who stopped me called in for backup. upon being notified of that, he let me off with a warning, and we actually bullshitted for a few minutes, before we went our separate ways.. But what's important, is that i did, and said the right things, and acted the right way. I've seen plenty of interactions, where the guy getting stopped is immediately belligerent, and that never ends well.
My whole point is that, even if you've legit done something wrong, provided it's not anything egregious, as long as you act like an adult, your chances of having a police interaction that ends with a warning instead of a ticket, increase.

You shouldn’t do it because to be a cop today, one must forego morals, convictions, critical thinking and empathy. Moreover, one must be wholly willing to throat stomp people’s God given civil rights, extort money from them and take a steaming piss on our Constitution that you’ll swear an oath to uphold. To be a cop today, a large dose of psychopathy and cognitive dissonance is required just to push through each day in order to follow illegal and unconditional orders. Let’s not forget the bastardization of our American flag with the “Thin Blue Line” gang symbol. That is designed to separate “friend” from “foe”. It is absolutely designed to be a demarcation line. If you want some anecdotal evidence, just look at patrol cars. They all used to have some iteration of the phrase “To Serve and Protect”. Most have been scraped off and replaced with the aforementioned thin blue line flag. Why would agencies do that if they sincerely cared about public safety. One last thing; remember that 440% more roofers die on the job than are police officers at the hands of bad guys each year. There’s a whole lot more cops than there are roofers. Everyone is not a worst case scenario. Just food for thought.

I got a 1-year license suspension and a $1500 fine, narrowly avoided a day in court I think. I never asked for any reduction or anything, the tears were just me coming to terms with things. I guess I'm in a rare category. The two times I've been pulled over for moving violations I always knew it was my fault, owned up to it, and took the hit that came. First time ended in a ticket, second ended in just a warning. Different circumstances, different jurisdictions, and both times resulted in changes in my behavior. For the one, no more keeping with traffic on the highway because, well, it doesn't matter if everyone else is doing 70 if you're the one who's pulled over. For the second, always coming to a full, complete stop at signs, waiting a second or so, then making the turn. I had stopped, but it was one of those "Immobile for a nanosecond, then let's idle out into the road" kind of stops. Anyway, stay safe out there, officer401! What about the rare breed? The Accepter/Admitter? Those rare champions of traffic stops, who quietly sit there, acknowledge everything the officer states, who know that they were speeding or did wrong, who don't deny nor make any excuses, who know that they were breaking the rules, and just ready and willing to receive their citation. Some even already have their license and insurance ready to hand the officer as they approach the window to speed up the process with little to no delay as they just want to be out of there asap and not waste too much of the officer's time.
This is what I am. Every ticket I have ever received, I never protest or deny.
In fact, I think that I throw off officers expectations, some so much that it got to the point on some traffic stops that the officers attempt to make excuses for me. Such as one stop where I was speeding 57mph in a 40, officer came up asked do you know why I pulled you over, and I stated, i was going 57 in a 40, and the officer must of got caught off guard as next they attempted to make an excuse for me, by stating something along the lines, "i'm guessing your late for work?", which I was on my way to work, however not anywhere close to late, and had plenty of time to spare even for a traffic stop, but to which i replied to the officer with a simple, No. Then on another occasion I threw off the officer, that they asked if I was speeding 88 in a 70 on a two lane highway, because I was going to make a lane change (i.e. speeding around the slower traffic), to which I also replied, No.

I remember Mike the Cop video on this subject...his daughter playing part of beggar driver...she says, "Ofc. Please don't give me a ticket...I'll do anything
    MTC: you'll do anything?
    She says, "yes anything"
MTC: "Will you learn how to drive", does a gun gesture walks away.
(quotes from memory best I can).

Ive always told my kids never lie to a cop because you may not know it but they can usually tell..and they may just let you off with a warning because most people try their hardest to get out of it....plus its going to just take longer get your ticket and go! And # 2 never fight a cop from being arrested...even if its not a arrestable offence because you fighting just made it one....now you have real charges..lol. And if you do have real ones well you just cought another one!!! Just put your hands behind your back and go to jail like a normal human. Lol.

When I was an Army MP, I had one more type of stop. The ' I'm an officer so you can't write me a ticket (DD 1804)'.

    Number six: The space cadet.
This guy has rarely if never been pulled over and forgot what his car insurance paper looked like. To then explore his glove compartment like and adventure only to find that its not there because he had the genius idea of moving it at some point. To then be told by the officer that there is an app for your car insurance. To which he replies " there is an app for that? since when?" and proceeds to download it while cop is waiting.

I totally do that on purpose. Then I start talking about some warrant. While keeping my hands visible. After cops mind goes into overload. Nah you're fine license is good. Oh must misunderstood that letter from the court house.

I prefer the honest approach, "You caught me fair and square Officer". One of the times I was pulled over for earning my ticket, I said that to the officer. He took a step back, we were on a freeway. Thank god he didn't take two steps back.

So when I was going through tx I was pulled over because my plates were from CO but the cop said I was speeding, 85 in 75 not true as when I looked at my speed when she attempted to pull me over I was @ 77 with my cruise set couldnt argue with the woman because she's the corrupt cop but after she damaged my car in a search and found nothing is when she actually said I was speeding and gave me a ticket. Anyway I share this because most cops are corrupt

You made the critical error of driving thru Texas. If one does that with out of State plates or new paper tags, you are going to be pulled over. Yes, they are all corrupt revenue agents. Not only that, they are Rights trampling tyrants.

@ I realize that now, I was so angry how corrupt that trooper was, it's been a while since I had to deal with that. It's un fortunate I mean I love tx and planed on moving there one day.

Now I owned a 78 Chevy Suburban that would not get over 55 MPH and was the only vehicle that I never got pulled over in, since no one wanted to be seen beside this thing on the side of the road.
Moreover, I truly had no idea why I was being pulled over, when I did. Oh and yes, I have only ever gotten a warning. Although, I had a state trooper in the state I live in talk like he was going to arrest me, for being run off the road by an 18 wheeler. Even though the left front of my vehicle was dented in from the impact from the 18 wheeler hitting me. Needless to say, his supervisor wasn't happy with his oversight and he got transferred to the panhandle for what his supervisor referred to as unprofessional behavior.
Which is compounded by the fact that everyone on the turnpike was nearly stopped due to a F4 tornado crossing a 1/2 in front of us. Which the truck driver wasn't paying attention until he got to me and them swerved to avoid the slow traffic in the passing lane and hit me, which knocked me off the road.
Besides, I am the one that had to pay the 200.00 to get pulled out of the ditch.

#6 The cordial, courteous, maybe even apologetic person who just goes along with everything the officer says.
