A really interesting way to replay the story is to let everybody get bit/turn but keeping them all alive. You really start to see different sides to the characters as they begin to turn.
I wholeheartedly agree with the other person: guys, please don't stress out about things too much, whether or not you hit or miss in a game is not really of any relevance. I can only talk from my personal experience and viewpoint, but I definitely will say that I'm watching you for your awesome, amazing personalities _first_ (and the games second). If I wanted to see a "perfect" run or anything like that, I'd either look it up elsewhere, or play it myself. Your genuine experience, with all its ups and downs, is what's drawn me into this show, and I'm all here for it. /edit: fun fact - the more evidence pieces you collect throughout the game, the more elaborate the podcast during the credits will be. :) The stuff you find is literally the contents of the package that gets sent to the hosts.

Sad to see it end here but glad we got to watch and be a part of this super fun gameplay nonetheless. I did finish this game prior to this episode, however, it was very cool to see things play out differently than I had experienced with my playthrough! (The ending I had was quite similar to your bonus gameplay/replay of chapter 10) I cannot wait to see what you both have instore for us in the near future and really look forward to the next game you guys decide on! Don't stress at all about how things ended up guys. The best part about games like these is that there's no one "right" ending. Consider it a game of multi-verses. There's a lot of different ways that these games could play out, and though we might have our favorites each version of the game is just as valid as the next. I personally was happy to see this version, and I'm sure that everyone else was too. Each story is an adventure, and you guys took us on a hell of an adventure.
You all should play L.A Noire on the channel. It's an awesome detective game set in the 1940's The facial animations are insane. It's a little graphic though.

Love watching you guys play these types of games! Hopefully you’ll go on at some point to the Dark Pictures anthology games. They’re made by the same people as this and Until Dawn, exact same kinda games with the same concept, just they’re a fair bit shorter as they’re a series of anthologies. I look at this and Until Dawn as kind of like the movies, and the Dark Pictures anthology games as the tv series, lol
Everyone can survive but two characters (three, technically) who must die beyond any real choice. I doubt anyone could possibly get that ending on their first playthrough without prior knowledge. Your play is your play, nothing to worry about. Jacob is a frustrating death because of how not evident it is what could happen. That cage puzzle I don't blame you guys for failing because the game throws it at you when nothing like it had to be done in the game before. It's an odd inclusion. That said, this game is much easier to keep characters alive compared to Until Dawn. Until Dawn is a game which I hope you all replay one day now that you know some of the story and some of the choices. No big deal if you all don't want to play it again. I just hope for it is all. You carry on as you please! Thanks for playing this one. Good fun.

Noticed in your bonus you didn’t stab Bobby which lets him and Jedediah live in the ending, you also missed a special tarot when searching in the basement with Abby. Also for another supermassive choose your story game (from the makers of until Dawn and the quarry) there are 4 titles in the dark pictures series for you to play

Wait, why did they think Lin Shaye, Mrs. Hackett, was the old fortune teller? Because they're both old white women? They could not look more different... and one was a whispering ghost from the beginning of the game? How could anyone think they were the same person? I've never seen anyone make that assumption before. Wild. It's crazy Oak missed the easiest shot in the game against Chris, yet made the hardest shot in the game against Caleb. Wild run. I've never seen Chris turned back into a human again, but damn, he lost both his kids, both his brothers and both his parents. The camp leader is now the only Hackett still alive. At least all your surviving counselors are all human again too.
I have been thoroughly entertained watching this. I think it helps too that I have never played this game or watched anyone play it so I had a lot of fun :)

Either i missed it or u guys still never went in and read all those xtra clues u got in when they got marked w an ! mark. That meant u got more infor about ur previous clues. Im really hoping u eventually noticed that and went back into read those. It filled in alot of ur missing storyline. I kept trying to tell u but im thinking u must have recorded before reading the comments cause ive tried to say that during every game play so if u see this & ur interested try going back in on ur own time if u want and check those out. Its where all the previous ? marks have now changed to ! marks. I noticed u had a ton of them not viewed when u played as Kaitlyn & viewed the fireplace portrait.❤ Edit: and u missed several rooms w clues choosing to prepare for attack instead of keep looking oak. Quinn had it down when that every new area u go to always take tge time especially when the game goes out of the way to give u an option to keep looking. That always means there are clues u havent found. I think u are just always in a rush to keep the action going, but u need to slow down and take time to look around during these moments ok❤
Definitely, and with the whole group playing together! It's got the Story Driven, Butterfly Effect/Choose your own adventure aspect, but it's tense/drama instead of horror again (save some for October!). Plus a new era, the 90s! Also dying to see them making the tough decisions like in Detroit, but all at the same time 😁 they seem like the group that would actually use their overrides on each other; a lot of groups I've seen are too conservative with them until the end, when they realize they got 3 per chapter (so 18pp, not 3 the whole game) Fingers crossed!
Yeah, this game is SO great, unique yet without supernatural, engaging and exciting! The way narrative is going, the way story is making one great whole... I thing guys would REALLY love As Dusk Falls, such a great experience, ESPECIALLY in a group! Let it happen! 🤞

Guys! Play A Plague Tale Innocence next, I know you'll love it specially it has good story and I know Oak will protect Hugo with all his life and Dave is perfect for Amicia's personality. It'll be an amazing journey for sure!
Great playthrough guys! I killed Ryan and Laura because I pressed the wrong button, the first time. Killing caleb as Kaitlyn is really hard as it is so fast. I don’t think you need to replay this, the only thing that really changes is the amount of people who stay alive. Detroit has a lot more endings than the quarry or until dawn.
Great vid guys. If i remember correctly, the wife will survive if you dont choose to wrestle for the gun and she takes it. If you send Kailee to the window she can escape out or be killed with a qte and caleb doesnt get shot and if you dont shoot silas at the end, travis goes for your gun, laura shoots travis and silas kills laura and Ryan and escapes into the forest.

If Emma doesn't take the fireworks in the convenient store, she ends up infected and turns in front of Abby. If Ryan chooses to shoot into the woods, you'll kill Jacob. I'm on my 6th or so playthrough, but I'm STILL seeing new things watching other people play.

On my first playthrough it almost seemed as if we were gonna have to choose between Laura and the rest of our group survival. I didn't hesitate a second to shoot that werewolf in the Hackett house with ryan. Not sure why people assume it's Laura's werewolf. Most UA-cam reactions that I have seen the player usually doesn't shoot the werewolf and I always am just screaming at them to shoot the damn werewolf. 😂😂 Then when they didn't they realized that everyone was dead. I must be one of the only people who didn't hesitate to shoot the werewolf with Ryan.
Guys I had exactly the same outcome as you when I played hahah. I also got Jacob killed in the red cage & killed the entire Hackett family, Ryan & Laura the same way too. Only difference is I also killed Kaitlyn at the end so I actually did worse 😅
Hmm I played 12 h and got almost everything, I was parking like 3 cards I think, and nobody died expect Hacket mama and Wolf boy... So time also depends on what path you choose... But 30h I don't know how people did this?
The writing was a bit awkward, even for a Gen Z cast, but I liked the idea of them. They needed to spread the screen time better, like it's obvious who is slated for an early or later death because we only play specific characters at specific moments. Dylan, Laura, and oddly Max felt the most fleshed out to me. Abby and Nick, the least fleshed out (if nick didn't have an accent, he'd seriously be a nothing character). Jacob and Emma felt hollow, maybe because their stories felt really unresolved, and Kaitlyn felt somewhere in between them all. Ryan had so much back story thrown at us but it didn't seem to affect his characterization at all - little sister, art school, grandparents, friends with hacketts, history at camp, interest in the occult, 3 love interests.... And yet, still so blah. Not getting to know Chris more was also a missed opportunity imo
Congrats!! I'm glad you guys went back to get the real ending. Maybe not film worthy, but going back to find the hierophant card (with Abby at the lodge? I forget) gets an interesting reaction from Eliza and a flashback about the fire. Now play As Dusk Falls 🤞🏾😁🤞🏾it's another story based, choose your own adventure type with a Detroit style flow chart. Robbery turned hostage situation where all four of you can play at once (there's a phone app) making decisions together in real time Plusss the option to override others' decisions, if say Quinn thinks it's time you fought back against the robbers or Oak who may want to keep a cool head and try outsmarting them
The 2 grandmas are NOT the same character. One is the Grandma of the Hacket family the OTHER is the mother (The hag of hacket's Quarry) of the White Wolf Boy , who blames the Hacket family for everything and was happy you killed off most of them .
Oh, so I literally guessed that the fact that they were pondering inaction the last video would have everyone killed at the end 😂 I knew they'd chose not to kill and get everyone killed.
1:50:52 Since you mentioned it, if Abigail dies in that scene with nick, you would’ve never had that silver bullet for Kaitlyn at the end too so even that scene can have a different outcome too. Really cool how many ways things play out.

If you interested in exploring their creations, they have so-called "The Dark Pictures Anthology" - a series of 4 standalone games. Man of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes and The Devil in Me. If this interactive movies are something you enjoy, but for now you would prefer to step aside from survival horrors I can recommend you "Life is strange". Thank you again for your content. You really help me get through some unpleasant stuff in my life. And sorry for any mistakes in this comment! English is not my first language.

OKAYYYYY!!!! Without seeing the video first and since this is the final part.. let's see here.. Jacob is already dead from the last part so I'm hoping you guys managed to keep the rest alive.. Time to dive innnnn 30:00 😬 never seen that happen before.. SPOILER I'm not sure if the good ending Is possible now since well... Ryan Laura and Travis all died in one scene Well 5/8 isn't bad at all! New world record for you guys
I'm in early just to say, sorry guys, the junkyard literally took me 10 minutes 😂 I found all the clues and the tarot card too (there's quite a few haha.) Now to the rest of the video! Oak didn't just kill Ryan by failing to make that shot. He killed Laura and Travis too and their survival leads you to the true ending. (Which I've now seen you discovered and completed in the bonus playthrough..) 😂 If you explore the lodge more with Dylan and Kaitlyn before preparing for the fight, you'll find a bunch of stuff. And the alternative for Caleb is if you pick up the teddy bear with Abigail out of the cabins in the very beginning, you can use it in that situation as a distraction and make a run for it and lock him in the freezer (think like Tim with the velociraptors in Jurassic Park). That way he survives. It seems you worked out yourself how to save Jed and Bobby by not stabbing Bobby. And Constance doesn't die if you don't struggle for the gun. The only people that aren't saveable are Kaylee Hacket, and if you want everyone else to survive, Chris Hackett. I kept all the gang alive on my first playthrough, but I did a second to try and save all the hacketts apart from Chris and succeeded. 😊 Good job though guys. You did pretty well with saving people up until that final couple of chapters. You should be proud!
I have never watched a playthrough where Ryan was killed 😅 I would love to see you guys do a survival run. And if you like these games, try Devil in Me.
How to keep Caleb alive: 1) Dylan, Kaitlyn both infected (Caleb will ignore them) 2) Dylan infected, Kaitlyn hides in Freezer (Caleb will ignore Dylan, Dylan lets Kaitlyn out of freezer at the end) In both instances you need to kill Silas of course. If you lock Caleb in the freezer and kill Silas, he will become human again and freeze to death.
I hope y'all consider taking a break from playing butterfly effect games for a moment.... I know we've been suggesting life is strange but I would like to see y'all do some multiplayer games... That would be fun and refreshing to watch... Personally I want to see y'all play It Takes Two and see how y'all are working together to beat the game... Game's not that hard should be good for y'all 4 to play... Also, don't feel bad about your gameplay... It's yours, we viewers are just watching how y'all played... It's like watching a movie y'all make...
1:44:00 Caleb will not feel better 😂 Kaitlyn took him out... There was a way to save him, but it's tricky. I think it involves that plushy that Abi was supposed to pick up, to distract him and lock him.
Ignore people saying got bad ending, it can go much worse. Sure you guys have a voting list but highly rec you put Mass Effect trilogy on it. Argued as one of the greatest scifi games ever made. Combat is simple third person shooter so easy to jump in. But the story is one of the best ever that wish was a movie and on top of that your decisions you make matter because it affects the next game. Its one of the best world building games you can play that just makes you want to find out what happens next while combat is still very fun and much more video game.

They could not look more different... and one was a whispering ghost from the beginning of the game? How could anyone think they were the same person? I've never seen anyone make that assumption before. Wild. It's crazy Oak missed the easiest shot in the game against Chris, yet made the hardest shot in the game against Caleb. Wild run. I've never seen Chris turned back into a human again, but damn, he lost both his kids, both his brothers and both his parents. The camp leader is now the only Hackett still alive. At least all your surviving counselors are all human again too.

Either i missed it or u guys still never went in and read all those xtra clues u got in when they got marked w an ! mark. That meant u got more infor about ur previous clues. Im really hoping u eventually noticed that and went back into read those. It filled in alot of ur missing storyline. I kept trying to tell u but im thinking u must have recorded before reading the comments cause ive tried to say that during every game play so if u see this & ur interested try going back in on ur own time if u want and check those out. Its where all the previous ? marks have now changed to ! marks. I noticed u had a ton of them not viewed when u played as Kaitlyn & viewed the fireplace portrait.❤
Edit: and u missed several rooms w clues choosing to prepare for attack instead of keep looking oak. Quinn had it down when that every new area u go to always take tge time especially when the game goes out of the way to give u an option to keep looking. That always means there are clues u havent found. I think u are just always in a rush to keep the action going, but u need to slow down and take time to look around during these moments ok❤

Definitely, and with the whole group playing together! It's got the Story Driven, Butterfly Effect/Choose your own adventure aspect, but it's tense/drama instead of horror again (save some for October!). Plus a new era, the 90s!
Also dying to see them making the tough decisions like in Detroit, but all at the same time 😁 they seem like the group that would actually use their overrides on each other; a lot of groups I've seen are too conservative with them until the end, when they realize they got 3 per chapter (so 18pp, not 3 the whole game)

Yeah, this game is SO great, unique yet without supernatural, engaging and exciting! The way narrative is going, the way story is making one great whole... I thing guys would REALLY love As Dusk Falls, such a great experience, ESPECIALLY in a group!

Great playthrough guys! I killed Ryan and Laura because I pressed the wrong button, the first time. Killing caleb as Kaitlyn is really hard as it is so fast.
I don’t think you need to replay this, the only thing that really changes is the amount of people who stay alive. Detroit has a lot more endings than the quarry or until dawn.
I really hope you play tales from the border lands and the wolf among us you will love them appreciate all you doing love your content ❤
Great vid guys. If i remember correctly, the wife will survive if you dont choose to wrestle for the gun and she takes it. If you send Kailee to the window she can escape out or be killed with a qte and caleb doesnt get shot and if you dont shoot silas at the end, travis goes for your gun, laura shoots travis and silas kills laura and Ryan and escapes into the forest.

The various Telltale games are pretty good. Worth playing imo.
On my first playthrough it almost seemed as if we were gonna have to choose between Laura and the rest of our group survival. I didn't hesitate a second to shoot that werewolf in the Hackett house with ryan. Not sure why people assume it's Laura's werewolf. Most UA-cam reactions that I have seen the player usually doesn't shoot the werewolf and I always am just screaming at them to shoot the damn werewolf. 😂😂 Then when they didn't they realized that everyone was dead. I must be one of the only people who didn't hesitate to shoot the werewolf with Ryan.
Guys I had exactly the same outcome as you when I played hahah. I also got Jacob killed in the red cage & killed the entire Hackett family, Ryan & Laura the same way too. Only difference is I also killed Kaitlyn at the end so I actually did worse 😅
Hmm I played 12 h and got almost everything, I was parking like 3 cards I think, and nobody died expect Hacket mama and Wolf boy... So time also depends on what path you choose... But 30h I don't know how people did this?

I found the characters in The Quarry to be kind of insufferable a bunch throughout. But this journey with you guys has been a blast!
They were better than until dawns in my opinion
The writing was a bit awkward, even for a Gen Z cast, but I liked the idea of them. They needed to spread the screen time better, like it's obvious who is slated for an early or later death because we only play specific characters at specific moments.
Dylan, Laura, and oddly Max felt the most fleshed out to me. Abby and Nick, the least fleshed out (if nick didn't have an accent, he'd seriously be a nothing character). Jacob and Emma felt hollow, maybe because their stories felt really unresolved, and Kaitlyn felt somewhere in between them all. Ryan had so much back story thrown at us but it didn't seem to affect his characterization at all - little sister, art school, grandparents, friends with hacketts, history at camp, interest in the occult, 3 love interests.... And yet, still so blah.
Not getting to know Chris more was also a missed opportunity imo
Congrats!! I'm glad you guys went back to get the real ending. Maybe not film worthy, but going back to find the hierophant card (with Abby at the lodge? I forget) gets an interesting reaction from Eliza and a flashback about the fire.
Now play As Dusk Falls 🤞🏾😁🤞🏾it's another story based, choose your own adventure type with a Detroit style flow chart. Robbery turned hostage situation where all four of you can play at once (there's a phone app) making decisions together in real time
Plusss the option to override others' decisions, if say Quinn thinks it's time you fought back against the robbers or Oak who may want to keep a cool head and try outsmarting them
The 2 grandmas are NOT the same character. One is the Grandma of the Hacket family the OTHER is the mother (The hag of hacket's Quarry) of the White Wolf Boy , who blames the Hacket family for everything and was happy you killed off most of them .
It's actually funny how consistent you guys are with getting the worst endings. Three for three now lol
Oh, so I literally guessed that the fact that they were pondering inaction the last video would have everyone killed at the end 😂 I knew they'd chose not to kill and get everyone killed.

1:50:52 Since you mentioned it, if Abigail dies in that scene with nick, you would’ve never had that silver bullet for Kaitlyn at the end too so even that scene can have a different outcome too. Really cool how many ways things play out.

I cant recall if you already know it, but Until dawn and The Quarry are products from the same developer - Supermassive games. If you interested in exploring their creations, they have so-called "The Dark Pictures Anthology" - a series of 4 standalone games. Man of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes and The Devil in Me. If this interactive movies are something you enjoy, but for now you would prefer to step aside from survival horrors I can recommend you "Life is strange". Thank you again for your content. You really help me get through some unpleasant stuff in my life. And sorry for any mistakes in this comment! English is not my first language.

Oak didn't just kill Ryan by failing to make that shot. He killed Laura and Travis too and their survival leads you to the true ending. (Which I've now seen you discovered and completed in the bonus playthrough..) 😂
If you explore the lodge more with Dylan and Kaitlyn before preparing for the fight, you'll find a bunch of stuff. And the alternative for Caleb is if you pick up the teddy bear with Abigail out of the cabins in the very beginning, you can use it in that situation as a distraction and make a run for it and lock him in the freezer (think like Tim with the velociraptors in Jurassic Park). That way he survives. It seems you worked out yourself how to save Jed and Bobby by not stabbing Bobby. And Constance doesn't die if you don't struggle for the gun.
The only people that aren't saveable are Kaylee Hacket, and if you want everyone else to survive, Chris Hackett. I kept all the gang alive on my first playthrough, but I did a second to try and save all the hacketts apart from Chris and succeeded. 😊
Good job though guys. You did pretty well with saving people up until that final couple of chapters. You should be proud!

How to keep Caleb alive:
1) Dylan, Kaitlyn both infected (Caleb will ignore them)
2) Dylan infected, Kaitlyn hides in Freezer (Caleb will ignore Dylan, Dylan lets Kaitlyn out of freezer at the end)
In both instances you need to kill Silas of course.
If you lock Caleb in the freezer and kill Silas, he will become human again and freeze to death.
I hope y'all consider taking a break from playing butterfly effect games for a moment.... I know we've been suggesting life is strange but I would like to see y'all do some multiplayer games... That would be fun and refreshing to watch... Personally I want to see y'all play It Takes Two and see how y'all are working together to beat the game... Game's not that hard should be good for y'all 4 to play... Also, don't feel bad about your gameplay... It's yours, we viewers are just watching how y'all played... It's like watching a movie y'all make...

Ignore people saying got bad ending, it can go much worse. Sure you guys have a voting list but highly rec you put Mass Effect trilogy on it. Argued as one of the greatest scifi games ever made. Combat is simple third person shooter so easy to jump in. But the story is one of the best ever that wish was a movie and on top of that your decisions you make matter because it affects the next game. Its one of the best world building games you can play that just makes you want to find out what happens next while combat is still very fun and much more video game.
