As much as I love respect and appreciate Paul Gilbert I always secretly wished Richie Kotzen was in Mr Big even way back then when PG was in the band, cuz Kotzen completes Mr Big with his "dirty" blues sensibility and his spontaneous approach based mainly on feel and groove while having chops from hell as well ! The timing was wrong when he join because of the already existing tension in the band but for me he's always been the right guitar player for this band.
I love the RK Mr. Big records and always hoped for a 5 piece tour :D It would be awesome to have both Paul and Richie in the band at least for a few concerts
@Guitarmattms2010 I understand what you're talking about. It certainly doesn't feel the same as when paul was in the band, but I personally love both Paul and Richie very much. They both brought something valuable to Mr. Big.
Well, now you'll only have to get rid of Billy and Pat and you wouldn't have a band any more. Yes, he's good, he's legendary! But at their level there's no way of saying who's better. Richie has a way better feel, but Paul gilbert is better with his technique and is way more fun to watch live. Richie also has a brilliant technique with his singing, but he doesn't have that thing in his voice that made mr. big what they are. Still, the guy's pretty awesome :) i'd put him at the same level as E&P
@holy6296 Oh I did and Ive been trying to find in forums or something but just nothing :/ hahaha, hey if you guys like mars volta check out one of my songs :)
Billy Sheehan never changed his looks, never sold out to current fashion trends, never cut his hair since the first time I saw him with UFO back in '80. He stole that show, my jaw was on the floor through the whole gig. But I can't say the same about these kids in that weird version of 'Mr. Big'. I've seen the real Mr. Big back in the '90, so I know what I'm talking about. Are these kids a backup band for this Canadian dude, what's his name, Bryan Adams? They certainly look like BA clones
Rest in Peace master Pat Torpey! Love you!
I am fucking proud of myself for having such great musical taste.
THIS IS ROCK'N ROLL
Pat Torpey is my favorite drummer may he rest in peace!!
Pat Torpey's smiles... 😍😍😍
2/3 of "The Winery Dogs" right there!
Gilbert is great but Mr Big with Richie are fantastic!!!!
THIS IS MUSIC!
That was fucking wicked.. Paul.. Richie.. Eric... They're all great stop the comparisons and enjoy the fucking music!!
Freakin' kotzen!
This is powerful, and Richie's voice is amazing
KOTZEN ERIC BILLY AND PAT! MOTHERFUCKING PERFECT BAND RIGHT THERE!
06:17 shows that Mr Pat really enjoy their "jamming session" 😁
Can you believe 3 guys...supreme rock & roll.
richie kotzen é um genio.
ele sempre sera numero um
volta para o mr big
4:23 PAT! Best drummer in the world so far!
Such a clean line
brutality
@jipak93 I hear ya.. Would've been cool for them to do this song on the last tour.
I personally love Mr. Kotzen's Style and Groove, Paul Gilbert just doesn't have that.
I think this combination of Eric and Richie pretty much works !
Hell yea!! Kotzen and Sheehan!
Richie's voice and guitar playing are better than Eric and Paul. He really effects the music direction of the band.
Both are wonderful guitarists of their own style but... Richie definitely got a much better singing voice than Paul... 😄
when u need a Richie fix and u can't find anything else you haven't viewed sixteentimes already
Richie: "Why the f__k did I join Poison?"
The two of them following Ritchie thru his amazing solo ( the best we have ever heard ) is music at its finest.
best solo
amazing ! and supream Ive ever seen…Richie's playing always make me kicking‼
Billy sounds particularly huge in this vid :D
BRUTAL!! love it
Funk!
how can someone dislike this?
Gilbert and kotzen are both my favourite guitarist. richie was the right pick for mrbig after paul. Very talented

Ritchie has that cool slide tricks... :))
Wwwhhoo hhoo! Simply amazing!💜🤘💜
Ritchie better than all the vocals who played with him: Bret Michaels and Eric Martin
The drum and guitar combination is good I mean best
4:56
I felt John Frusciante...
Not even close, you are funny men! Kotzen is another level.
2 people disliked the fact that they said farewell..
PAT ERIC BILLY Y PAUL NO PUEDO ACEPTAR QUE SE PELEEN CON ERIC MARTIN. MR BIG SIN ERIC MARTIN NO ES MR BIG
Eric:Okay, I got to take a shower, you guys have fun.
Kotzen has the coolest moves.....
Even this time, Kotzen sang much better then Eric Martin.
Perfeito!
A mesma coisa que acho.
I know this is Mr. Big but somehow I feel like a traitor for watching this. Since Paul isn't in it. Just not the same.
7:07 Jimi Hendrix...
best answer ever!
W OW

Richi fill in this song..with funky rock,, and the result..waw.fantastic modern rock

richie breaks up bands with his sheer awesomeness...

Fucking Big !!!!!
@XIIIX Go to Ultimate guitar website and type in search only the name of the song and i hope you will find the tabs :)
No me gusto esta canción solo si Eric martin esta me gusta sin el no es nada para mi
does anyone know how to play this song? or what chords is it based in?
@01spreketong11 it's richie kotzen... but he's not the guitarrist now
Anyone know what pickups were in this Strat?
no, he's picking up trash off the side of the freeway...
Is Eric going skiing after the show or something?
Holy shit!! turn it up to 11!!!!!
clearly no. tu tienes una problema para eso?
Wished Paul was in this gig too!
duas vertentes diferentes, não há comparações
Wow. Just. 😮
Paul = Richie
Eric
😁 haha, only in live performances, idk why eric often runs out of breath when performing live.
like hell!

never realized what a talented drummer kevin bacon was
i think mr big is like 10 times better with paul gilbert
I recently started listening to this band and DAMN this is one hell of a live performance and a killer song! Love it!!!
Mr Big is awesome, top tier musicians!
Killer guitar solo !!! Kotzen snapped the string at the end 💥
