The similarities to Noa Kirel are probably because the choreographer (who also made the choreo for Unicorn) and the dancers are from the team that working with Noa Kirel.
Girl, no wonder u saw Noa Kirel in this.... .the whole production crew was Israeli: the director' the chrographer ' the dancers, all israelies who worked with Noa Kirel and Eden Alene. the producer of the program was also israeli - Tali Eshkoli whom u know well (-: Btw, Tali ,the singer, is Israeli who lives in NY and Luxemburg
I wonder why they outsource from Israel, not from any of their geographical neighbours (France, Belgium or Germany). but the staging, the whole production is so high most likely because they are so rich (even richer than any of the big five countries), even though i am still not sure if broadcaster RTL Luxembourg also gets a lot of the richness.
@@alex5623 It is not, it is very common that after a successful performance by one country other countries will use the same teams the following year. I can give you lots of examples
@@user-dl1ku6oq6m Outsourcing the entire contests production to Israel and having the winning act be done by an entirely Israeli team is still kind of an uncommon situation Like yeah everyone in every country uses Sasha Jean-Baptiste or has Swedish songwriters/musicians on their teams a lot of the time, but like, an entire production of high profile people and entire performance in a completely different country by a team from a completely different country just shocks me. It's not like, Mileo traveling from Australia to Norway to compete when he can't even speak Norwegian cause he's a small one man team with some back-up.
When i first heard the selection for Luxembourg, i was surprised to find that you could have so many shades of vanilla! Then i saw this performance, and i have to admit that the studio recording just has that grit and sass missing that she brings in the live. I really enjoyed the live performance. And lets just talk about that stage! Its gorgeous!
Great realistic reaction as always William! From all countries this is my favorite so far. As soon as they're done with polishing this diamant It can't go wrong.
For me from France - Luxembourg : I love the song, it was on of my favorite for the win in the nf. But i don't know it's not the stage i was thinking. I'm not sure if i like it or not.
I would have prefered Krick over Tali, but I still think it is a good choice. It might not win for sure, but I guess it will qualidy for the final. I'm really glad we are finally back, I wasn't even born, when we last participated.
We haven’t heard this science from 30 years ago so it came back to Eurovision 2024 and I’m sending congrats to tali and it’s a great achievement and it’s a boper. And it’s a disco party hit and it’s got Luxembourgish vocals and also I really love is the Luxembourgish movements and I really love the Luxembourgish singing tone with the vocals and also the Luxembourg vibes with the melodies in French and luxembergie language and it’s a great big hit and for disco parties from Geoff uk time
My current number 1 song right now! So i do think she is not at Noa Kirel's level yet but she can get there with some training. The song is great and the dancers too.
Krick was 100% my winner before the lives but Tali surpassed my expectations! Not saying it gave me Chanel level vibes but this has a lot of potential!
I'd love if they bring some of the purple/indigo from the music video into the costuming, it's a rare color to see at the contest and I think it would help Tali and her song stand out (as opposed to the all-black outfit from this performance)!
Those kind of folk (or a rather say, tribal) tones in the melody background are likely merit of italian producer Dardust, who for instance worked on Mahmood's Soldi as well as many of past and also this year's Sanremo festival songs.
I think it needs a revamp to be honest. Watching the NF it was one of the stronger songs of the night but there is something missing for me. I liked it during the NF but this is more to make the song better.
That fast, high-pitched bit you sang reminds me of Aven Romale (2009, Czechia) when he sings: Just sing it with me: ada dada dai. And nice to see WRS's trousers on the Luxembourg stage!
Currently my 2nd so far. Great song and singer with a lot of talent. I love how Luxembourg chose a pop song with French in it! The hook and the muscle dance is so cool! Also, it does not matter if she has SOME Israeli origins in her blood or team. From a Palestinian supporter!
WELCOME BACK LUXEMBOURG 🇱🇺🎉! It has some great moments - like the kick into the chorus - but as an overall experience, it feels a lot like something weve seen done in many prior years. Its a nuce song, but im not sure if it will stand out as much as people will hope.
I feel this song is too ‘Eurovision generic’ it won’t stand out enough. She’s an ok singer but nothing amazing. I personally feel Believer would have carried Luxembourg better as it’s a good song and a singer with strong and gripping vocals
Yes, William, yes! That is exactly what I thought. The studio version is amazing but it loses a lot live. Fortunately, all those details could be improved with a lot of rehearsals. She needs to work on it if she want to shine in Malmö.
This is decent, but needs changes. Tali disappears in amongst the dancers when they're all in black - is this a clothing choice, or the camera shots? Unsure. It is very reminiscent of Noa, which was reminiscent of various others from previous years. I feel like she needs to relax into the performance a bit more. . It's a decent return for Luxembourg, maybe not what people were wanting in terms of showcasing all local talent, but it's decent. Sure, others will say Krick should have gone but ... eh. I feel like French songwriters may have given a bit closer to a local feel than Nordic ones, as Krick's song felt *exactly* like a Melfest / MGP Eurovision by numbers ballad reject to me.
Brings out a French ballad and you would probably think it's a boring 1/10, predictable song. Can't appease everyone but who cares, you're only one person
hmm I love Luxembourg back - but this winning entry is sadly more a mix of Austrias Zoe and Belorussias Zenya... there s some talent... so it needs a lot of revamp
Ya i agree... she kinda fades away. I don't think i like it that much. I find that the song has a hard time keeping me interested if it makes sens. There are good bits to the song but then it all changes radically. I'm not gonna remember her and this performence on the long term. Not saying its bad but it needs a little more work i think.
I think Luxembourg are testing the roots for their first Eurovision. It's nice, but i'm afriad it wont stand out once we've listened to every single song

Very poor breath control, I don't understand when people say she is great vocal, breath girl!!!! Krick was amazing, much better. The show was beyond amazing

This is 100% Luxemburg's own fault, they shouldn't have brought in 8 generic songs with no identity whatsoever. I am disappointed in Luxembourg :(
