Rome Total War - Online Battle

- In today’s Rome Total War video, we have violence, death and destruction! All of which is been served out by those brave Carthaginian Sacred Band elite soldiers. The video will start off with a little story to break the ice, followed by our weekly hit of Rome Total War action. As always a massive thank you to anyone who has supported my small channel of the last couple of years! I feel like the biggest thing to take away from this battle is positioning with the pikes. Piper and Turk were in a bad position, surrounded by the SB inf. Piper also pushed in super aggressively, which crumbled his formation and so the spartans got shredded by the SB pikes, which were in perfect lines. This is a good example of why i dislike pikes in 31k. They are very good for holding ground and defending flanks, but when it comes to attacking, i feel like they can only really have guard mode off and push in that super aggressive manner against non-pike factions, because they don't get punished as much for being out of formation.
True, its hard to attack with long spears, but short spears are good against long spear if they have the relevant upgrades.

Brave sons of Carthage with Biscuits doing carnage. But today I'm coming with completely different idea here, for you Biscuits and all others interested in history - I recently enjoyed watching Decisive Battles tv-show. It ran for thirteen episodes in mid-2004, and basically it shows off important battles commentary with RTW footage. When I was little kid, I was so amazed these scenes of epic battles. Today I rather see no alt attack use there ^^ but nonetheless I found these films as great way to learn something new about history. That's my recommendation. I remember watching those programs. The game show was called Time Commanders, where teams played a modded version of RTW. Looking forward to crossing swords with you Cyrus!

If you're new, dont listen to biscuits, the armoured general is the biggest waste of money you could possibly buy for rome, especially putting upgrades on it like markus does.

+Hannibal Barca well taking them systematically is not great, but they can be worth the money depending of the army you face. I find them nice to clean up low armored archers like cretans.

Piper completely wasted his army
+mafia totalk For most of the battle I was pretty much fighting 2 armies, gg to turk.....
turk did not cover his flank well. but you wasted wasted your whole army charging in against carthage leaving the flank exposed and fighting carthage which you should not fight if playing greece
