I really love how you’re breaking down what each part of the code means like ‘==‘ and ‘else’. It helps people who haven’t done any coding understand what each statement is used for. This can then be used by people to write custom code instead of relying on someone else to write it for them.
Unbelievably consise and to the point. Best tutorial ive seen on Starbase, even including Kenetor. You managed to cram in so much into 13 minutes without ever tripping over words or having it feel rushed, and explained EVERY single line of code and WHY it was written like that. Thank you. Teach a man to fish, dont just give him a complete line of code. Brilliant.
i watched all of your Starbase Videos and i would say you're a very good teacher. Your videos helped me a lot to understand how some devices are working on and how to use YOLOL and write some code lines. Thank you so much for all that really good work you've done till now :) I can't wait for more of your videos on Starbase :) Keep working hard on it :)
Love your tutorials Spunie! The only issue I have is just when I think I have finished building my ship you come out with another tutorial with something else I want on my ship so I have to squeeze it in my design lol. I would love to see how the tractor beams work and the cargo lock.
So I have a question. I understand that “ ” makes a space? Why does it do that? What does the \ do in this scenario? Could I put a different letter for n? I understand what it does, but does it only pertain to situations with text lines?
This looks so simple, but I already have my ship so I cant use the great editor and have been struggling for the last hour plus floating in space trying to get my pieces to connect properly (yes "c" in on). Am I missing something because this make it look easy and I am having a hell of a time getting past getting them to stick in the right places.
Which pieces are you having trouble with? Hardpoints in space with the turret base turntables can be tricky, especially if your using the starter ship (not sure why). Try looking at them from the side when moving into place and make sure the prongs line up with the bottom indents for the turntable and the turret base. If bolting is an issue, pick it up and place it again, sometimes they can shift slightly if not bolted immediately. You can also assemble it detached from your ship and then connect it as a full piece, sometimes that is easier and is my preferred method. If snapping is giving you a hard time, try placing the items back into your inventory with "p" and then relog.

Thank you! Haha I am the same way! My ships are never really "finished". I just added a tractor beam tutorial and will add a cargo lock video soon!
Thank you very much for the awesome video and acknowledge you are sharing with all of us. 👍👍👍👍☝☝💯

i don t think you need to put goto 2 on the first lane though. i believe that yolol just skip to the next line if the statement isn t true
nice Tutotrial, Thank you :)
What is wrong when the scanner not resets the result when you turn it of?
Did you ever figure it out cause im having the same prob with everyones code

would you know a code to show stacks instead of like big numbers? seen it on some ships
Sure! You can just add /1728 directly after the words volume on lines 2 and 3 of the code.
@@SpunieBard il give that a go thank you
your videos are amazing!
maybe will do a nice approach Yolo? seen so many different versions confusing theses days haha
@@SpunieBard Are You a programmer mate?
Could you pin the yolo script in the comments to make it easier to put into our chip
Great idea! I've added it to the video description!
