Sir if a molecule have S-3 axis then is it be sufficient for optical activity??
Molecules possessing Sn axis (n =1,2,3...) are optically inactive. One example of a molecule having S3 axis is BF3 as it has a plane triangular geometry. NF3, on the other hand is trigonal pyramidal, so it does not have S3.
