Hello, first off, thanks so much for this tutorial! second, I can't see the background in the material editor despite clicking on it; and trying to reload the view of the material. I'm using 3ds 2019; and vray (as is the video haha) would apprecaite help! thank you!
could it probably be you accidentally turn on Alt + X , xray mode that disables the checker texture ? If it is , try clicking Alt + x again to turn it off
@@desislavageorgieva5564 hi there thanks for reaching out. Do you mean checker texture not showing in the thumbnail ? May I know which version are you using ? Of it is the new version , it wont show cheker anymore unless u turn on reflection on the material.

Are you using vray 5 ? They made some changes to it for new version

The background checkered and sample type doesn't work when I click on their icon is there a fix for this?

nope , it is a 3ds max default physical camera
