I'm just getting into doom metal. Should I have a guitar setup specifically for the low tunings?
Getting thicker strings for your guitar helps with the tone and keeping the guitar in tune - especially if you are playing in B standard tuning or lower. The string gauges that work best for you really depend on your guitar though.
When a shitpost video succeeds in pointing out everything that makes a particular genre great.
