I like how he's doing this finnish accent in folk music tutorials
I have to say watching all those WW2 documentaries on the History Channel in the early 2000's when I was a young teen was a huge influence on the rest of my life. Also this reminds me a bit of "So You've Decided You Want To Become a Goth"
Let's be honest - reverb makes everything better xD
definitely going to give it a try by adding Italian / futurist vibes
Guitar sounds pretty similar to Darkwood, my favourite neofolk band, great tutorial by the way, nice song
Your song is a blast brother.Inspiration!
i would buy this track... :D
perfect neofolk song! Salute!
What a nice song u’ve created
perfection
Niiice, thanks
Help me a lot
Vocals too harsh to sound like Di6 or C93. But the three chords match perfectly lmao.
Hehe, this was funny, but also true, it's not hard to make Neofolk songs or moody soundscapes and they still sound cool. I can't play the guitar, but I guess a harp does the job, too...with enough reverb nobody can tell the difference anyway 😅
Help, I watched this and now Jerome is at my door, asking me to give him free passage to Rhodesia
Sound good.With love from Russia!
Would overlapping w/bardcore be redundant ?
its cool, i was looking for this genre because theres a musisian in my country (Chile) who is catalogated like this (wft with my english o_0)
basically how to be blood axis
What drum kit is that?
this is one step away from being a bad folk metal song! The song Sounds more like an acoustic version of The Sisters of Mercy!
BTW: You missed: for drums "desk/table top".... Add drone sound!
would have been pretty good if you hadn't overdone it thb
haha
If you need free folk sound samples for your compositions, you
can check my new video "Free Nordic Folk Samples!" for a download link. It's
a collection of wav files of different folk instruments that I have
recorded.
