South West Tinny Camping || PART ONE - Finding camp

- What a blast! My first tinny/dinghy camping trip!
This episode I head down the Donnelly River (South West, WA) in my brand new tinny with Pete from WA Camping Adventures and Adam from @west_way_escapes.
We find a cracking campsite at the mouth of the river, do a bit of fishing and get some coals going for a big cook up!
Next episode is jam packed with fishing, boating, a thunderstorm that rips our camp apart and a drone lost to the sea :(

I wouldn't worry about the hubs on those 10 inch wheels overheating.
I towed a micro camper trailer around Australia with similar up to Birdsville around Tas up to Broome etc etc and never had a problem with overheating of hubs even on dirt doing 110.
The main problem is rocks knocking the grease caps off the hubs.

Been keen to do that trip for ages but never been keen to leave the cars. Get your self a tiller extension makes for a much more comfortable trip if you are doing long runs.

Yeah definitely an option! I should be right once ive got the canopy fitted, itll be pretty easy to winch it up and down.

That was a brilliant video, I really like four wheeling but that boating trip looked so relaxing.
The boats look like they are the perfect size for a great adventure.
How far can you travel on one tank?

I'm not sure on fuel range yet.
For those three days of boating up and down the river I used probably 8 or 9 litres.
The other boys with the older two stroke motors would have used around double that.

Sweet! Cannot wait to ba able to give this a go in a @TrueKit once I am ready to purchase.
Truekit is the way to go, packs up small and two hulls are twice the boat
What motor are you putting on it and how much does it weigh?
Haven't researched that yet. Will be a 10hp, whatever it is

Great video thanks ! Quick question please, i also have a mangrove jack trailer that i want to tow my tinny about 3 hrs drive from the northern suburbs to Busselton, how long did you stop at a time to let the bearings cool down and check them please
I stopped every hour for 15 mins or so, it was a cool day and I just sat on 100kph. Bearings were warm but never hotS
