i got 2 of them in the 357 in the bullet i still use them had one of them as a kid fishing in fld i use it still for nostalgia great video love these old bullets
I got one of these but the line brake has crumbled away, do they work without one or do you need it for sure? Maybe a thin 1/16” thick o ring of proper size would work?
It probably requires one. I take my reels into the local hardware store and find an o-ring that is about the right diameter and thickness. I use e-6000 or similar type glue to attach to the spinnerhead. This type of fix works great.
That was a great video Daniel! I especially enjoy them when you discover a problem and then solve it in the video.
Thanks, Tommy! By coincidence, I found a green Swede Turbocast today. Can't wait to get into it and compare it to the Bullet.

Wow blast from the past. Thanks for sharing
My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed the stroll down memory lane.
Sometimes you just have to winkle it. That would make a good t-shirt.
😅
A thread chasing tool may be able to clean up those shaft threads enough to hold a new nut, next time you have to take her apart

@@tonys.5940 I got a Midwest 64815 o-ring. 7/8” ID, 1-1/16” OD, and 3/32” thickness. I think it’s about right for the job.
Someone's got anger issues.
