calculating dimensions through a blurry screen of a 1 year old video is wild
for anyone wondering what the dimensions of the platform are:
I got 21 for height, 51 for width, and 85 for length (85 was a rough estimate)
for the extension to the stairs, its another 9 blocks for the length, and 16 blocks width on each side. the stairs are 19 blocks in length and go down 9 steps. hope this helps lol
You saved a lot of my time, thank you
Bros a legend much appreciated bro
its cut sandstone and sandstone
and put ur graphics
Hi ! Thank you already for your tutorial! I nevertheless have a recommendation to make (I am certainly not an architect specialist but a student of history). The interior of structures like these were not empty, there was a large room with 4 walls (basically it's sort of corridors between the columns and the walls all around the interior of the building, sorry it's not clear). In this room we find the offerings, so you can add gold blocks, chests etc. as well as the statue of the revered deity! Here I hope you will be receptive to my little return! :)
thank you very much for the feedback! I was thinking of putting a room in the middle as i Did notice that most of them in Ancient Greece did. I can put one in in the future! thank you for the comment and thanks for the watching!
I love the Ancient Greek pantheon! Looking forward to future builds!
Thank you my freind!
made this in survival and its fantastic. took forever to collect all the materials though lmao
I started mine 2 years ago lmao
Same 😂
Started this today, I’m convinced I can’t find anymore quartz lmao
Would be good to see a bathhouse and other similar buildings surrounding this in time. Nice idea for a series :)
Love the idea of a bathhouse! Thanks for watching my friend!
Thank You bro i wanted to this this for my school project and got full marks thank you so much and I really appreciate your effort!
This has me excited!!
I am subscribed since you had 2k subs, and since I am greek I always wanted you to make some ancient Greek temples. One day you are gonna be famous all over the world and I will be your first Greek subscriber you better remember me 😉
Thats amazing! Thank you so much for your continued support, and don't worry, no matter what happens, I'll never forget my subscribers, especially my first greek one!
Your content just gets better and better
Thank you so much, really apreciate it!
Keep this series going
This looks really cool but I wish you have us the dimensions for the platform!
If you can do a series like you did with the Viking Village like this that would be amazing.
That's the plan my friend, should hopefully be back soon!
@@thewalkingwhale can’t wait!
Dude you are amazing
Hey man I love ur build's you really do put your heart into your video's btw here's an idea *u can build an Atlas statue* u can search it :)
Thank you my friend and nice idea!!
really like the build but you could have put the quantity of each block we need
For future reference when creating a Greek temple, you should have a coffered ceiling design as well as a proper establature and pediment
amazing tutorial
The tree is a Cypress I guess, very common around the Mediterranean Sea.
Aaah that sounds right! Thanks for that!
What are the dimensions of the platform the temple is on?
Honestly you would be the best of best Minecraft build Channels if you added the amount of blocks you need but rn your the best not the best of best :) (not trying to be rude)
Toda tu creación es arte!!! Sigue así 👍
¡Muchas gracias!
Watching :)
Great edit and build. Sadly there is no continuation of this
While I can say I'm very excited for this as the Ancient Greek Civilization is one of my favorites I wanted to know if your planning on continuing with the Viking Village build series or is it over?
Thank you for you comment, I’m pleased you’re excited…and yes! There will be more Viking videos don’t worry! Thanks for watching!
@@thewalkingwhale Thanks for replying so fast mate I'm glad that you're gonna do both series although take some time off and don't overwork yourself
Cheers mate
@@aditr3016 appreciate that thank you my friend! 🙏🏼
@@thewalkingwhale it's my pleasure
You should build a Gaelic village after the Greek town is finished
i just started this project my survival world😁 thanks so much make tutorial👌🏻
did you finish it?
@@fawazmaalouf593 not yet, I've only finished the floor part and I haven't played the game for 1 month now, so I'll continue the project after the break when I return to the game
finally, i can make a minecraft Sparta world!!!
this guy deserves one million views
first lol, good video!
nice build bro, but how long are the pillers?
18 late but ...
you should explain how to build the platform it sits on
i finally finished this build in survival after 2 weeks grinding. for anyone who will try this, you will need about 120 stacks of quartz and for the roof its about 15 stacks each of granite and brick blocks!!!!!
Hi, really want you to reply, because I have always dreamt of learning how to build the Hagia Sofia in Minecraft. Could you pls do a tutorial?
Nice tutorial ! Please what is the biome ?
You should try do a spartan war camp/Athens war camp
Great suggestions thank you!
I believe those trees are called Mediterranean Cyprus. The Greeks heavily decorated their cities with them as well as hundreds of other plants.
Thank you for that! And thank you for watching!
Can you build Hiccup Hattic hut please from How To Train Your Dragon
I have an insane amount of quartz and bone blocks in my survival world, might build this
Please do more of ancient Greek cities
That’s the plan! Thanks for watching!
by any chance you dont have the world download with the building alone?
Incrível, vai dar muito trabalho mas com certeza irei fazer no meu mundo.
What texture pack is this?
Is it possible to build a statue of Athena in the greek city?
Nice Greek Vidio
May I ask the dimensions of the plinth?
Would this build work If I scaled it down to 1/2?
Imagine how long this took, you could build a Zeus statue in the back area.
Nice idea! Thanks for watching!
Tell me about it, I'm building it in survival RN
The collesium video is near
Awesome. Started build this in survival and I need I think 100 stacks of quartz
Yeah it's quite expensive 😂 Thanks for watching!

Stop at
can you make it a schematics for create
As a greek i like it very much
Hey, I was wondering what happened to this series, I was really looking forward to it but you never released more episodes.
How tall are the pillars
Cypress trees!
hi i like this build
Thanks! Thank you for watching!
i really like this build, but i will say that sandstone is objectively better suited for this build, quartz is too smooth and polished, if you look at pictures of the parthenon and greek temples in general, they are all bricky and textured, only for the pillars is quartz better suited in texture
the textured roof between granite/brick is odd, same with the growing foliage/moss on the building
you build it in quartz (ie its new, pure white) but you add these details as to show the decay of the structure
also at the top part below the roof itd be fitting to put walls there, look at pictures online to see what i mean.
also if you plan to build this in survival with quarts you will need 12-18k quartz blocks, ie. 48-72k quartz.
thats already a lot of blocks for sandstone
i like the build
"some blocks" more like thousands of blocks xD
maybe some greek god statue or art statue with water on the sides
Nice ideas! Thanks for watching
What is tree name?
What is that intro music?
Viking village cool now grease
I have built a colloseum on minecraft before, funny enough it was for a year 4 school project 😂
Oh nice!! Thanks for watching!
Item list?
schematic ?
5:29
I should’ve watched this video before trying to do it on my own lol I just wish quartz was easier to get
Im definitely going to try this one some day
I did it, it's a pain
can i get a worldownload
does anyone have a material list?
maybe just an estimate of the quartz amount ish?
120 stacks of quartz roughly, 30 stacks of bricks/granite roughly
Pásenme la semilla del paisaje por favor
Ah yes getting quart from nether while ghast shoot you
Download?
I hate these types of vides saying "how to build" cuz they're just showing a timelapse of someone building it.
It’s mostly just a reference to show you what it looks like
7:10
Finally finished this building in survival it took me 2 weeks
Nice work!
@@thewalkingwhalethanks
for a 10 year old kid and says never give up this gon take me10 hours
*Suffers mining quartz in nether
Make sparta

Stop
What I would suggest is to use your view not the camera
thanks for the feedback!
I am beginning to mine quartz for this in survival (already have just over 200 quartz blocks from previous mining. But would like an indicator of how much quartz i will need altogether.
Man....like a 100 stack haha because its 43 stack for the base....x2 because of the roof base, so 86, 30 stack for the pillars and some more for the triangle roof...more like 150 I think...
Those trees are Italian cypress trees
aah thank you!
next time use minecraft on poki tho
There was only 1 video to this series.. 😢
More to come don’t worry!
I got an question.
Do you know where the tempel was in real life it would make me happy if i could know.
thank you :)
Anyone did this in survival? How much time did it take you to mine all the quartz 😅
Just started survival world build this project but i think it is take 30h-40h time
Same here, took me about a week of very active playing
Pas de dimension ça va trop vite horrible
Useless tell us how large it is exactly
43x64 he says it in the vidéo
@@alainnguyen1164 I made the comment 4 months ago I heard him say it after that and I just forgot to delete it
bruh that’s too white; I really like the basic idea but ancient Greeks used to paint literally everything.
Thanks for the feed back my friend, and thanks for watching!
it would be great if it had the amount of blocks that you need in the video very disappointing
how can this be a tutorial on how to build... omg there is not even a step by step. only a timelapse
Just say you can’t build
can u ?@@alec6651
@@empathy8884 I got some tutorials
woww What a great tutorial HE SAID NOTHING OK HE SAID NOTHING BRO HOW IS THAT EVEN A TUTORIAL YOU JUST SAID *64 blocks*43 blocks* WHAT ABOUT THE PILLARS HUH
BRO HOW WOULD PEOPLE KNOW HOW HIGH THE PILLAR IS ? BRO DO YOU EVEN CALL THAT A TUTORIAL WHAT A LAME TUTORIAL🙄🙄
Bro maybe listen to the tutorial and he literally says 18 blocks maybe doible check next time instead of whining
I did this shit! so much suffer on survival. But it is beautiful.
How much time to get all the quartz? Its like a 100 stack of blocks haha
