To your point that people do raids for the challenge is why myself and many of the community dont do raids, cause people like me DO WANT to do it for the story but dont want the hassle of gathering a squad of 10 people and following rules and schedules just to get some good story content (Which raids happen to have some of the best story)

completely agree, it's years I want to have a go to just explore around, but don't have enough time to spend hours to find a likeminded group + actually pull off something... TT

I think this is like a chicken and egg situation. Some people want to play the raids cause it has good story, but hardcore raiders don't care about the story past the first time playing. So, I think using the resources for story development are better used for open work/general PvE rather than some like raids.

I 100% am fine with reusing story world boss/meta and convergance encounters. 1 thing I HATED about raids before is the self contained lore and story due the content being for the hardcore playerbase and gatekept from the casual players plus no one plays group instanced content for its story. that stuff is suited for the more accessable areas. If the convergance contains the same story and lore then id experience it through there before playing the raids.

@@slayer4932 yes agreed! I think this new approach is a much better way of doing it.
