- It doesn’t matter where you go exploring there is always an element of fear! Sometimes of being caught, sometimes for things that go Bump in the night! And sometimes because you’ve forgotten the baby wipes and you’re desperate for the toilet! However, on this occasion, I feared for my life in this abandoned building! The dog was barking, there was a banging downstairs! Noises and whispers! Enough to give you a heart attack!

OMG whenever Bear starts barking and looking strange makes my heart jump! Hearing noises is one thing, Bear growling and you hearing noises is another.
That was extremely bizarre how there appeared to be a sofa down in the basement of the other building with the organ! Strange place for a lounge!!
17:27 as you start to read the date on the Bible, ominous hissing goes on, getting bolder at times. My goosebumps got goosebumps!
The Ghost Theory guys did a video of this same house a few months ago, and it was creepy AF. They captured quite a lot of possible paranormal activity, and it was really interesting to compare Matt's experiences with theirs. Very spooky location.

When you and Bear went down stairs to take a look around, I noticed you didn't look to make sure that those knives were still on the stool. Matthew please be careful when you go into country cottages where personal belongings of dead relatives are.

I think it was dropped on Bear 'a back and it scared him so bad. Because that's when Bear starts growling. Matt is so scared and he's upset at Bear but Bear can't tell him what just happened. 😮
There’s something about being alone. If you have someone with you it’s far less scary than being alone.
I always am concerned when any explorers go alone. I just don't get it. I love these guys and want them to explore safely.

The dog does not do scared! Love bear what a star he is. You could try singing to whoever maybe there if your so scared, Lionel Richey IS it ME your looking FOR. And no doubt they will be gassed out by the end of it all. lol This was probably a nice Cosy little place for someone at one point in time.
Its a little bird that flew down the stairs when Bear started barking it must have been flying into a window poor wee thing,I loved the house absolutely beautiful ❤️❤️
It’s weird it’s very tidy and clean! Where’s the spider webs and dust? I did see any mold or rotting areas even the rugs look cleanish. It’s like someone comes and dust the place every few months.
Definitely an on edge explore....keys still hanging up in the kitchen and not many cobwebs makes it seem like someone's been living there recently 🤨. Darling Bear is such a sweetheart...if someone was there and he had them, well it'd be their own fault. That made up bed gave me the heebie-jeebies !!

I don’t know how your video came up on my YT recommendations but I feel like it was fate! I guess bc I watch other explorers from the UK? Idk. I can’t believe you stayed as long as you did in this place! Ugg. It was so creepy and the odd noises and the way the dog was acting! Omg! I would totally trust my dog - they can see things that we can’t. Oh Lord - you scared me so bad when you came downstairs and said “don’t try anything silly”.

The last bit looks like the old bothy Farm hands (workers) shepherd's use to live in them during their time working the land for the owners not in bad condition either.
Hiya Matt that jangling ball was a Chinese meditation ball. They usually come in pairs. You're supposed to be able to move them, usually on just one hand and without creating sound
We have a system in our household when it comes to shoes. When a new pair are bought they are the "good pair", and the old pair is for everyday or working outside until another new pair is needed, then they just cycle out again.
That was a super scary one. Glad you had Bear with you! Very strange place, I don’t know how you managed to stay in there for so long!

A cute cottage stuck in time but There was something ghostly in that house...When you were upstairs, the ghost was downstairs....Bear could see and hear something in those rooms.. There may be several deceased family members in that house with you .. Creepy vibe about the place... Great adventure into the Dark side....
Matt, by the fireplace that spikey bit to jab Bear in the back is a mole trap. The trap is placed over the mole run and set. When the mole runs through the tunnel again,
he releases the trigger and it spears him.

I think that you got the era pretty much spot on by saying 30' to 40's. It looks like about then from the clothes, at least some of them.
That was a tense one,i think what doesn't comes across in these videos is because the room you're is well lit by your torch,we forget that the rest of the building is in total darkness,so any noise would be terrifying...well for me anyway, I'd have had that poker thing off the back that door and been swinging like a good un😅

I live 2 minutes from here. I can assure you that no one had been here 4 years ago and it's only been accessed around 12-18 months ago. It's been explored by many since, including myself a few times.

When you explored it did you get creepy vibes and hear noises or see shadows. I did see a shadow in Ghost Theory 's video. In the room where Joe was downstairs.
I didn't get any vibes to be honest. I took it as an urbex explore rather than anything paranormal

Kitchens were first to get plumbing,when running water was first brought in to homes,then plumbing,like sewers. Then when bathrooms stoped being outhouses,it was/is easier to tie them into the existing lines. Also it’s cheaper,don’t have to run the pipes as far. Most very old places had to find space for the “bathrooms” and that’s why sometimes they are in very odd spots,but near the original piping.
This is true. A lot of three bed terraces became two bed by bringing the bathroom indoors. Usually the back bedroom above the kitchen became the bathroom.
Also back in the day they used lead pipes in upstairs bathrooms but copper pipes on any plumbing downstairs

I love that fireplace!! Oh, I love the stained glass windows in that other place that was kind of right outside from that window. An abandoned home like that can be very scary. Even though that house is quite small, but it does have a lot of tiny out of the way places for someone to hide in and go in circles around you as you check it for just such things.

Poor baby Bear!! He kept showing his tummy in submission. He was scared! Matt, he can handle himself. Maybe the pervious owners were mad they were going into their home. Maybe if you said hello and state your reason for being there they wouldn’t have trying to scare you out.

Bear has had those tremors for quite some time now. It's not new for him to shake like that and it happens in situations that aren't tense as well.

Sometimes you go to a place aderalict or occupied and ypu get that natural feeling g that something isn't quite right its almost like a human instinct buried deep within us when it comes to spooky stuff. It's like deep down we knoww it's haunted wether we believe it or not and outer body is telling us warning us triggering our flight or fight. People who don't believe I feel are better at ig owing our senses

That bag (not a box)of Persil washing powder and the logo was from the early 90s. You don't really see washing powder in bags in the UK. I notice these little things, its quite bizarre that its been abandoned for 4 years but has phones and products from 30 years ago
That was brilliant! I had my volume up on headphones and was on edge thinking you were gonna make us jump! I wonder if the bumps were just the noises of the floorboards when you were upstairs, sounding like noises from downstairs. It's scary when Bear barks though and growls! He's just ace! Very dark, creepy house! You're mega brave!

Maybe all the wood and stone made you feel claustrophobic coz it does that with me. Had few jump scares with you but all in all enjoyed. Glad Bear was with you, hes a good boy xx
That Nokia cell phone that you found was from the 90's! It's very similar to the one I had back then and mine was also a Nokia and cell phones were just starting to become popular with people other than having one just for emergencies if you drove. I'd say approximately mid 1990's (93-95).
I like Nokia phones.
Yes the small "fireplace" @ 6:00 would be a Pizza/Bread Oven from what I've seen before.

I think the house feels creepy because of the wood beams, low ceilings and exposed stone. Have you noticed no ones been there for 4 years and there is no dust on anything? THATS creepy.

Matt years ago houses weren't build with bathrooms they were in out houses outside. They had to make room downstairs where they could to add a loo
