when I go out , I see where are we going and the target spicies to get an idea of what I would need, so I won't have to have tons of other tackle I don't need for the trip , I use the turners backpack. those fishlabs are nice but overprice in my opinion

100% agreed Tony! Was using my backpack early on, then transitioned to the camera bag that holds plenty of tackle. Just wanted an excuse to get myself a roller lol, I got both from offer up way below retail and ended up selling the larger for a small gain to offset the smaller even more, only way I was able to justify it. I'll still use my backpack or camera bag for local trips here since it fits easier on the boats provided storage racks. I thought I planned my 3day well, still needed one more lighter setup for smaller grade which I didn't bring, guess we can never have enough lol.

@@Seastheday88 ohh yeah the camera gear, hey that's what a good bussiness man do, buy at lower price then flip as much as possible nothing wrong with that, and yes we will never have enough fishing gear

    Great content!!!!
If I'm only going 1.5 to 3 days what is best tackle bag? Medium or large fishlab? How about the SKB ? Any review on them? They seem heavy to carry once its filled with tackle. I held SKB 7200 at the tackle shop and it's already heavy on empty. But good quality.

Thank you 🙌 I ended with the small Fishlabs. Preference on best will depend on how much tackle you bring with you on average. I took the small on a 3 day and it was nice having everything with me. But shelf space was scarce as everyone took over and the Fishlabs are only good on the floor, harder if others have rollers too. Keep a bungie cord in the bag so you can strap it to a shelf post to prevent moving on travel. I never owned the skb, but def solid cases and I’d want to be first in line on boat to make sure I get a shelf space for it. Just need to grab a cart for loading/offloading tackle. I also bought a Piscifun backpack and I used that on my last 3 day which worked out great. Keeps 1 less Plano box than the Fishlabs, but I was able to get it on the shelf which was nice to have access to my cases at height level vs being on the floor. I’ve also consolidated myself a bit better since so they helped.
Skb looks more like a lifetime case, while the fishlabs and piscifun bag will have a wear life before they need to be replaced. Hope that helps🤙

The bag is junk. Zipper stitching came undone. bag saggs dragging on ground like if they used too much material. Last only like a year. Company wont do anything

That sucks to hear. I heard they had great customer service. Try again just in case. I haven’t put a years time, but did have a 1.5 day and 3day so far. Only thing was rust on the rivets of my rod holders. But still great overall. I bought a cheaper backpack version and put more use to that. Hope they get you resolved.

Hey Jorge, sorry to hear that. Have you reached out to Okuma? They’re based on Ontario, California. The bags not cheap and prices just recently increased for them. I still have my small roller bag, only thing I’m seeing is rust on the rivets for rod holders, but overall they been working fine along with the other owners in the charter group I fish with. Hopefully Okuma resolved it for you. Still like mine so far. Check out the backpack review I did on the Piscifisun bag. It’s a cheap alternative and uses the same smaller Plano boxes. I’ve been using that on day, overnight and even brought on last 3day trip this past Nov. holds 1 or 2 less boxes. But still much cheaper overall.
