I met Whiney and she was nothing less than Beautiful inside and out. I am amazed that Pat just said Whitney was a Private person but yet Pat is putting her private business out to the world. 20:55 (If she wanted anyone to know her business she would of said it while she was alive) Please let that Beautiful Angel RIP :-)
Mark Ciarlante If you have been following Pats other interviews promoting this film, she said that Whitney wanted and had already started this documentary. From what I understand, Whitney even narrates much of the film which apparently was done before her death. Pat was her full time manager, not just her sister law. Regardless of what we think about her, she KNOWS everything that went on and is doing this project for business reasons.

It shouldn't go left unnoticed that such a large percentage of people get an uneasy and skeptical feeling whenever watching Pat. At the very least she was an accomplice in Whitney's Murder, When Bobbi Kris wasn't coping in the aftermath of her mothers death- this drew too much attention and as a result, Pat used Nick as a pawn in order to get rid of her. Last but not least, the final act in her Orchestration was taking out her only accomplice. "3 can only keep a secret if 2 are dead".

GIRL: I have never watched even the Whitney-Bobby show they did back in the day (I just couldn't do it) and so neither could I watch some ole TIRED show based around "The Houstons" TAWMBOUT, TAWMBOUT "On Our Own"!! So consequently, I didn't even know how she behaved once Nick was in the picture (the new, younger Bobby, the demonic conduit to get to work on Bobbi Kris even earlier than he did with Whitney) and I only was able to tolerate as much as 7:42 of this video before--besides being a PR person myself and knowing how media training works and knowing how to spot red flags in the content of peoples' words--I could JUST FEEL IT, this woman is self-aggrandizing and I did not care for the way she talked quite a bit about her self just to answer the question of how she came to be Whitney's manager--like how she mentioned Whitney had fired an attorney in before we could just get a simple answer stating the fact, like she was setting it up to be perceived as more valuable than the attorney she fired. All of this AFTER my first thought which was, "Who is this Pat? Whitney had 2 brothers and I know Michael was trash, but wait, Gary? Is that the same Gary that was completely shit on that first tour???"

J B Why is everyone slamming Pat! She was Whitney's personal manager and sister in law. As an artist, your manager is the closest business relationship you should have. Pat was/is paid a percentage and/or salary for her services so she us just continuing on with the "business" of Whitney's legacy and estate! Whether we like or trust Pat is irrelevant! Pat replied that Whitney wanted to tag along on Anniversary trip with her brother and Pat did not wont Whitney coming along on that trip...How was that a fun memory...seems like a shady moment. I saw Whitney "Can I Be Me" on Showtime and I can tell you those people in that documentary told the truth!
I liked "Can I Be Me" that's when I found out about Robyn and knew she truly loved her and was outnumbered and overpowered by all them demons around Whitney and also her own susceptibility to vices and falling back on performing strength instead of doing the hard work to actually have strength such as the kind that would check her controlling, exploitative, enabling mother and put her at a healthy distance--perhaps cut her off--and erect the proper boundaries for access to her; if Nippy could have done that, she could have gotten rid of everybody else that should not have had access to her. So glad Mariah managed to do it with her mother and siblings--the difference between an Aries and Leo in a very real way.
"Pat Watson (her real last name) - as stated by her stepson in his open letter - indeed, needs to be investigated. She tries to bestow this soft spoken, clean image on any fool who'd buy her 'inviting-like-charm' persona. There is an entire not-so-great back story on Pat Watson that anyone who supports her manipulated character she smoothly displays, would be shocked to learn.
It isn't as easy for Jonathan Houston (Whitney's nephew, a REAL Houston at that ), to come out and boldly say certain things abt why Pat should be investigated because of defamation, or slander claims (without solid proof). So he is smart and clever in how he worded his letter. Please take that into consideration.
Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon once stated that they had to rescue Pat from an overdose, a story that seems to have been swept under a rug. After what happened to Krissi, Pat rushed to the courts to put that gag order against Nick because she knows he knows the real true tea on her and it's sad that he can't speak and tell his story. Pat was busted and convicted many years ago for distributing illegal drugs, so whose to say she wasn't a supplier who kept Whitney and her family doped up, to manipulate them? Before whitney's cousin died, (Michelle Drinkard, she had said some years ago that Whitney's father (the late John Houston), warned Whitney about Pat in the early 00s, that he found checks written out to Pat from tabloids.
This came out of the mouth of Whitney's own cousin and I believed her. As far as that audio goes; Pat can be heard speaking negatively about Whitney and her daughter. Her tone of voice in that revealing audio didn't come from a woman who has compassion and love for Whitney and Bobbi, it came from a vile speaking tone of greed, jealousy, emotionless, remorseless, and anger towards the woman's estate she runs and her deceased daughter. If you can't detect that, then your deaf and delusional. The partial truth has been revealed about Pat and her conniving, bitter ways,. It's only a matter of time when she will meet her faith."

I used to blame Bobby early on, but it didn't take long to see--once all that "Princess" and "America's Sweetheart" image that both her mother early on and Clive later on forced Whitney into, once those personas were out of the way, and I could see Nippy more clearly, she was not protected well and that Leo childlikeness and fun-loving adventure-seeking got contaminated and exploited early on before Bobby or Robyn (who was good for her) were a factor.
There are 3 things I believe Bobby told the truth about with his Bobby Brown Story: 1. Janet finessed him out of some good D (and in so doing dodged a HUGE BULLET for her own life and career, we now realize more than ever); 2. Bobbi Kris was becoming like her mother in both the good and bad ways and Whitney failed to erect the proper walls of protection around her to prevent Nick's entry into her life and even facilitated it (I believe from what I've seen all around that Nick was just as bad for Bobbi Kris as Bobby was for Whitney); 3. I believe Whitney's drug problem was worse than his, he was more of an alcohol (which is a drug) and weed guy but I think he started to get serious about getting clean in a way Whitney did not and that is because she lacked the internal self-partnering support structures to TRULY put that shit down and RESIST temptation--that part I mostly blame her parents for.
Everyone was doing drugs?!!! That was their way of life! Is Pat out of her mind?! Just because it seems like a vast majority of people where she was did drugs doesn't mean they had to get involved in that type of activity. After seeing this, it's apparent Whitney and her family needed help. A good example of why we should never have idols and to value your own worth knowing anyone can be someone extraordinary.

The whole family for whatever reason seemed to be playing dumb and turning a blind eye to Whitneys excessive drug taking.. I know Whitney was an adult but I believe for who she was they should have done more.
Bobby wasn't the cause of her drug taking but he was the one that she went for and had their drug fuelled relationship.. That was crazy..

On the interview that Pat did about the Whitney documentary, she spoke about the people she felt that "let Whitney down", and one person that she mentioned was Robyn. Well, I disagree with her on that.....because if anything, Robyn was the one "true one" in Whitney's life who really loved & cared for her. She was there for Whitney & supported her in every way that she could......despite all the bystanders who bucked against her in the process. The problem was, Robyn hung in there as long as she could, but when things between Whitney & Bobby grew worse, in their addictions & behaviors, Robyn could no longer stand by watching her friend sink.....and watching her friend get sucked further into all the negativity & temptations around her.....because Whitney was hard-headed, bull-headed and would not listen. Bobby had a lot of control after Whitney's dad passed, and her family & enterouge took complete advantage of her, in more ways than one. The drugs kept Whitney discombobulated in her thinking & thought processes, keeping her from thinking clearly and making a lot of poor decisions. They all knew that! Robyn did the best she could, for as long as she could......but unfortunately at some point, you have to acknowledge the truth about things, regardless of how much hope you may have. You realize when it's time to let go, for safety & for your own peace and mental stability. I'm sure it was the hardest thing for Robyn to do, besides losing her mom & brother to H.I.V. Robyn had been alongside her best friend, Whitney, for many years, but she was getting older & wiser, and had not yet established anything for herself, in her own life.....trying to hang in there with Whitney. Robyn eventually saw that no matter how much she was there, how hard she tried, or what she did....Whitney was too far gone....far beyond seeing the light of things. It was time for Robyn to accept things....& move on and find her own life.....her own love. And that is what she did. If anything, her own brothers, Gary & Michael let her down big time. Looking at the entire situation, for them to be her big brothers, they failed to step up and protect their sister, from a lot of negative shit around her. They couldn't because they were always high themselves. They didn't do anything but be in the background, living & getting high off their sister's money! As was Bobby! Bobby should have sought after other things to do for himself for his own career, after the music industry was it anymore for him. Yes.....all the MEN in her life failed her. But then people wonder why some women find happiness with other women. Whitney definitely loved & cared for Robyn the same.....but couldn't live that life with her because it would have rid her of her success. That is why she struggled the way she did with drugs....among other things that happened to her. I miss Whitney Houston. She should still be here...😔

1. Why did you Change your name to Houston when you married Whitney’s brother Gary Garland as his dad was not Whitney’s dad Mr Houston... isn’t that odd behaviour.
2. Why did you sell Whitney’s personal Stage gowns...passport...and many other deeply personal belongings on eBay ...rather than donate these sentimental personal items to a trust or museum ..?

Why did you and Gary put and encouraged Bobby Kristina on a reality prolonged...TV show series within only a few months of her mothers tragic death.Do you not see that this was a very insensitive and unsupported move on your part.adding only more exposure and public pressure to an already grieving tanager at a very vulnerable time in her life.

My theory is she did research on Whitney's family, and determined the easiest way into the family, which turned out to be Gary. It is rumored that Pat became a "super fan" of Whitney's...she probably wanted to "be" her, so the closet thing to "being" Whitney would be to getting close to her, hence marrying into her immediate family. I find it appalling myself that Gary's last name isn't Houston, but Pat decided to make her married last name Houston. Folks would associate her with the great, beautiful singer...

Whitney was definitely my idoll. My first music casette tape i ever had was Whitney first album at that time. Her voice was so powerful..I played that tape so much that i ended up having to get another one because the inside of the cassette tape got torn, & it didnt play anymore.😁😄 She is truely loved, & missed. Still hard to believe she is gone.

I am not an American, knew nothing about Whitney's passing but stumbled upon a few video clips in May, and my admiration for the quality of Love expressed through her voice led me to attend the world premier of this documentary on 16th May in Cannes, in honour of a life touched by God, whose voice touched many souls worldwide. Nothing short of a miracle enabled me to walk the red carpet to this event, the awe and respect in the Palais auditorium was palpable. Whitney continues to touch the hearts of young and old, I for one am grateful to have more insight into her life. Don't shoot the Messenger which has enabled Whitney to continue sharing her legacy with the world.
