Awesome! I'm an old geezer by now, and bought my Lego Space sets with pocket money (and some help of my generous parents) when the came out in 1979. By the time BlackTron came along I was already in my dark ages and missed out completely. Now with the 10497 and 40580 releases and having a couple of grandsons I'm fully back into the space theme ;)
Really nice build. Love the tentacled horrors (and the purple tree leaves). Blacktron I is one of my favorite concepts as well. There was a really nice Space Police III Line in 2009--we need a Blacktron III Lego!!
Still loving the content great job for the sharing. Still hope the cast weekly videos will be able to come back in some form; as that was a very unique thing that you all produced and brought great joy to many people. I know things have changed in parts around covid but there are still many places heavily locked down and it was a great thing to look forward to.
This is the kind of sci-fi world I'd picture in the classic space universe, bizarro versions of familiar things, yet muted and desolate, gives off a sense of loneliness. populated with abstract or stoic alien life, not those cartoony humanized aliens featured in space police 3, alien conquest, and life on mars (to a lesser extent). The vehicles fit well with a more modernized and refined Blacktron, but I'll always prefer the original aesthetics.
Not to get too political here...but can we all agree on universal basic latent heat transfer? It just breaks my heart to see how, Blacktron, that hopeful start up turned into the multi planetary corporate monopoly overnight. Their quantum hologram telecommunication promised to connect the galaxy with spooky texting at an instant...but now the universe is more chaotic then ever! Sigh...will we ever behave? Time cruising isn't part of the problem.....it's part of the solution!
@@leonardosarver7475 because LEGO was never supposed to be violent the only weapons they had for years was medieval ones (but it was more for historical reasons I think) now they have bad guy faces and more realistic weapons it's kinda like cartoon violence has become movie violence (still fake but much more realistic)
It's always so great to see a father/son build team, so nice to have that kind of shared hobby.
The duplo to make the tower is a really good idea
Great kid with an awesome attitude !!!
It drove me nuts no one talked about the BSG viper just chilling in the middle of the set
More wings: more moves
More guns: more pew pew
More antenna: more connection
Awesome build, great father/son team! Funny kid by the way!
BLACKTRON IS BACK, BABY!
"Defunding the Space Police". Brilliant! This guy is awesome! Great build too

Best lego channel ever!
I am a easy man. I see Blacktron I press like
Love the astrice wing
Wow! Really cool.
Always love your vids
Love Blacktron stuff, what helmets did they use on those soldiers on the far side? Looked like a modern mould
I hope in the future they make a reimagining of Black Tron
I love it so much
This is pretty poggers
Defund the Space Police! I second that! I'm more of Time Cruiser myself, and they're always trying to hunt me down for breaking the laws of physics!

NicelyDone!
heyy nala is in the thumbnail
6:50 blacktron lives matter
As much as I dislike mixing LEGO and violence, I find the Blacktron esthetic irresistible. Very well done!
same here
I think until the 2000's every character had a smile (even the pirates) ... then it changed :/
J curious why you prefer smiles as opposed to arguably more accurate emotions
