Maybe Araujo seeeing Inigo play and feeling that he must give just best to play in first team would get him improving like other players under Hansi. Flick even gave confidence to Inaki Pena, so he can make absolute beast from Ronald Araujo who fits perfectly in Flick’s high line and he could become one of the best CB in the world and has spectacular tackles. But he must play better with the ball and improve his IQ if he want to put Inigo Martinez on the bench. Cause we’ve seen last season that PSG was pressing whole team accept Ronald Araujo becouse they know that he isn’t confident with the ball and they can repossess the ball like that
It would be hard for Flick to chose between Araujo and Inigo Martinez when Araujo comes back after injury, if Inigo plays this way in coming games also, although Araujo will be preferred more than Inigo it would be nice if Barca can have two of them playing good and Frenkie de jong has been playing good lately ❤️💙

This is because, Flick's style demands that central backs are very good with the ball, good at dictating plays from the back, good with long balls, very good reading of the game. Actually, from what I have seen with Araujo so far, he has none of these. However, what he has his physicality and aerial play. So with Araujo on the team, they probably can't do that high line. That is always why I advocate for Araujo be sold. Teams like Bayern are ready to splash out at least 80M for the guy. Then bring in a right back with that money and a backup for Lewandowski, cause I am afraid, neither Ferran (he is just not at FCB's level) and Paul Victor (I think he can do good, but seems to lack loads of confidence) are there. I potentially would keep Christensen, cause despite his inconsistency, I think he has all the qualities for Flick. Finally, another player that I just love but really wondering if he should be sold or not is Frankie de Jong. From what I have seen from Cassado and Bernal, man, I think FCB can do without De Jong.
The thing is some mistakes such as osasuna was cause of changes in the defense and stuff like Monaco was cause the offside trap was not fully mastered and executed! The first half against Bayern was the first attempt at truly trying the tactic! And by the Madrid game it came to full strength!
I feel like there's no doubt this defense/tactic will break sometime. But its still a winning plan, so if the boys can keep the mentality up, we have a solid team boys. But let's not get our championa league hopes up yet.
I wouldn't say they're that good, Barcelona defends as a Unit basically Flicks says you attack together and defend together. They're not like Liverpool where people like Van Dijk and Konate can be isolated at the back and still keep everything rock solid and impenetrable.

It should have been: 4-4 as a fair score. Maybe 3-4 for Barca. The off-side rule needs to be adjusted and give more room to the attacker by declaring off-side only when the attacker body-line is fully clear from the last defender-line. This will produce more goals and less whistling. Defending using off-side will be more difficult.
Updating the offside rule would be absolutely ridiculous. Records like Messi's 91 goals in one single year would be easily broken by some mid ass player.
