  • Vermont is beloved for its bucolic small towns and picturesque landscapes. Its most devoted fans may be the members of the 251 Club, a group dedicated to exploring every one of the Green Mountain State's towns and cities. Correspondent Conor Knighton talks with club members - from honeymooners to nonagenarians - who are ticking off out-of-the-way towns from their to-do list.

On my return trip to New York State, drove through Brattleboro, Vermont, and stopped to buy Vermont's famous maple syrup. Delicious and best tasting maple syrup I've ever had in my life. I regretted never having returned to Vermont. I would love driving through the entire state in late September/early October. Gorgeous scenery and so pristine. I hope it stays that way.

I drove a semi in the 1990's, my route took me through Bennington VT, once a week I'd stop at a little sandwich shop, during all the seasons, Bennington is like a picture postcard, driving out of town towards upstate NY in the spring the snow melt rushing down the streams, the water flowing greenish, blue, oxygenated water rushing down, it's the most beautiful setting I've ever seen, and I've driven all over the country, seeing beautiful places, but Bennington's my favorite. Good luck.☮️

This is amazing! Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Investing creates a safe heaven for the future. With the right investment choice that has at least a 10% minimum risk and with the advice of an expert, profits and interest is guaranteed. I will forever be indebted to you, I'm so grateful as you’ve indeed changed my whole life. I got to know most of the upper third of Vermont pretty well in the mid-2000's when I was exploring with my then-boyfriend, who lived in Barre and worked in Northfield. I'd drive over from mid-coast Maine, where I was living at the time. I loved the state, especially Burlington. One winter, we got to walk out onto Lake Champlain when it was frozen over, something I'll always remember. And the fall seasons were spectacular. ❤🍂🍁 I'd love to move back someday and work on visiting all of Vermont's nooks and crannies.

I can tell you what would be more picture perfect, a firm understanding by everyone that comes here either to live here or to visit here that the people that were here previous we're not racist we're not bigots they were hard-working Farmers that had their state clear cut to have sheep farmed on it and then replanted with some of the best harvestable Elderberry sugar Maples etc etc plants trees and shrubs and cultivars with our apples so that we could be unique and doing the right thing for future Generations. There are parts of this country that are falling apart so fast it's like watching swiss cheese melt in a microwave. They've moved and they come to our area with some very very outlandish deluded mindsets and viewpoints and interactions where they will look at one another and call it like a mean mug and think that that's normal and they move to an area where we're shaking each other's hands saying hello to one another and looking out for one another without a need to be prompted to do so, and people move here where that's Nails on a chalkboard behavior and they don't understand why they stand out like a sore thumb. And then of course we have the political lunatics that move here to try and convince all of us native vermonters that they're here to just make a big swath with the special interest money that they've got in their pocket and everything's going to get better until they get elected and sit on their hands and nothing changes say hey great come visit every town in Vermont, just know that bushes are not trash receptacles and the minute you turn the ignition in your car it is not turned three at Talladega and treat others the way you want to be treated
