Thank CREATIVE types for this house, and the realtor/owner for appreciating, and preserving it. Beverly Hills is ACTUALLY a very special place, with a lot of fascinating history. Hopefully the Witches house will become a historic landmark never to be torn down.
@@sew_gal7340 Well of course they’re dead, the home is 100 years old! I’m talking about “creative types” through the decades, and centuries RESPONSIBLE for projects like this.
I used to live not far from this house as a kid and it was always a gathering place on halloween. i've never seen the inside until now, was the interior always this cool i wonder? thanks so much to the owner for preserving this treasure for the generations before and to come.
I like this guy who bought the house. I like people who can appreciate stuff like this. When I bought my house, it was a little “dated” to modern standards. But I loved it because it reminded me of a storybook home. Anyone else would have wanted to tear out a lot of the interior but I loved the arches and cute brick fireplace. I can’t wait to make it more like a storybook home when I have the money.
Honestly one of things I love about LA are all the random small, oddities all over town. You really get the sense that it is a town full of creative, imaginative people.
wasn't there a sign in the front yard that sayd Witch Way? I lived on Doheny for a few years and would drive people past this house when they were visiting the area. SO HAPPY he preserved it and didn't let someone tear it down, I LOVE Storybook architecture and LA has some really great old storybook houses scattered around Hollywood, West Hollywood and Culver City.
Absolutely magical! I love the organic lines. It's everything I want in a home. I even recognize a few of those storybook cottages in the stills from here in Long Beach.
Hollywood has such an ominous energy to me haha but I'm obsessed with this house. I don't understand why you wouldn't make more interesting architectural choices if you had a lot of money. This is iconic.
I remember my friends who lived in Beverly hills were so excited to show me this house in the 1982 when I was visiting,....they said we're going to show you a witch's house, I was so excited to see it....such fun..😊
My father drove us kids past this house several times. I don't know how he discovered it in the first place, but he loved it and of course us kids also loved it. I know it was moved from its original location many decades ago, to where it lives now. Originally from a studio lot, I believe.
We have a witch house in our town east of Tampa; it's based on the old Salem-era homes of the 17th Century. Up until 2020, it was used as a bed and breakfast. Sadly, the owner fell ill and the home's current fate is unknown.
I park right next to the house often and when I saw this I knew it was a must see. I was always curious about the inside and I'm so glad he preserved it cause I love seeing it.
I will build a story book house too, but it will be somewhere deep in the woods near a river near a dam, this is how ill will retire and i will die in this home. its always what i wanted since birth. cant wait. #ascension my way!!!
Glad he Preserved it. So the next person didn't tear it down and make it look like a Stale Mercedes Dealership Design. Like most new modern houses in those type of areas.
There is a house just like this in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. We call it the "Hansel & Gretel House". It was always fun to visit it at night with my friends because of the creepy factor...During the day it looks more charming.
Thank you, Michael Libow, for preserving this charming and historic home!
Cancel higer denomination dollars to capture black money..with that money you can run government.....

The creatives died years ago...not one of them left.

Fascinating and beautiful.
I love people who are restoring our historical homes! We need more of this.

Tons of them you’ll find in Carmel by the sea. That place is magical

I adore unique homes💕
I have seen it on UA-cam while people are walking and filming Beverly Hills and it is awesome! Thanks for taking me inside!Love it!
When it was mentioned someone once wanted to tear it down...it really needs to be on The National Register of Historic Places (if not already).
LA has some really cool old houses, especially in Santa Monica. Love it, stunning.
Check out the Adams District near downtown LA
God bless this man for preserving that treasure!!! 🎃
This makes me so happy. The risk you made is making so many people happy. It’s a beautiful home.. thank you for sharing it with the kids and us.
What a wonderful house! So glad you saved it! Well done sir.
Cette maison ressemble à la petite maison de Blanche Neige & les Sept Nains.......c'est incroyable, merveilleux, chaleureux ......magique.......
Great house and guy who bought it.
What a cool house. I love the exterior, and bravo to him for saving it from being razed.
That roof is unique. They have to steam the cedar shingles in a special boiler.
Oh thanks for this segment! I love this house!
Absolutely magical! I love the organic lines. It's everything I want in a home. I even recognize a few of those storybook cottages in the stills from here in Long Beach.

I have an old photo of this house from way back in 2010, I thought it looked so cool and unique, no idea it had a cool history

He restored that house beautifully.
Glad he saved the house and kept it the same, would of been a shame if they tore it down, to me it's work of art.

There’s a sprawling house in Cambria, CA right on the ocean that has a bit of this look to it. Love it.
There's just something about a house that melts into the earth.
I'd love to have that house!! Beautiful
That is an absolutely gorgeous house! Must be a lot of fun to live in❤
Cool, so neat they covered the historical end of the tourist attraction too
