You can already see it in the trailer that it’s about how an app/the validation of “love” does not guarantee a happy relationship, perfect example was her relationship with Sun-Oh. It requires effort and work like Hye-Yeong explained while giving her the coffee, not an app ringing. TBH at the beginning sun oh was such a mean spirited person to me for hitting on the girl whom his best friend was in love with, intentionally. So I wished Jojo to end up with Hye Yeong who remained a kind and warm hearted person and loved her from the very beginning because he was perfect for Jojo in every aspect. But later when Sun oh really fell in love with her.. The way he took care of her.. Amazed me.. He stood by her through thick and thin.. And his love for her remained intact even years later although he was left broken! I totally hated the way she broke up with him.. Even though Hye yeong is a logical best choice for Jojo.. I really want her to end up with Sun oh who kept loving her even after getting hurt so bad.. That's what true love is meant to be right? To stay genuine with our feeling even when hard times hit us so hard!
Okay so ima have to disagree with the last part. I just finished watching this drama rn lol and idk but I’m like annoyed and need to talk to someone about it haha . My stan rn is I hope she goes with Hye Yeong or just none at all. So why I personally feel like this is because one I still don’t get why Sun Oh really went after her after he saw that his best friend was into her. I get that people are saying well it’s his fault for not approaching her ,but I find it more romantic that he didn’t just confess straight out like let the romance simmer slowly compare to Sun Oh who just went bam. Not to mention that he gave me very creepy pervert vibes when he took her into that alley way and tried to kiss her. Yea ik she then fell into the kiss ,but now that just makes me feel as if the romance between them was pushed and not build up. I think I finally understand... both Kim Jojo and Sun-Ho are two broken people. Family trauma, always felt alone, parents tried to harm them. Together, they helped each other. Apart, Hye-Yeong helps them. Literally they both rely on HY as a source of happiness. I think he will be the one to bring them together, despite his feelings for her.

I think this drama is really confident. The female lead is the strength to decide the plot to determine her feelings. This drama does really a good job to be existed in Romance and Dramatic genre. This will be forever missed and it is indeed left an unforgettable experience. Also, the good work is proved by how much everyone reaction begging for something like they who came from typical or mainstream romance k-drama. Thus, I don't regret watching Love Alarm. Good Job!!!

The things that keep the story interesting is the reality we are living right now, may it be literally or figuratively. Sohyun is really an impressive actress, and both actors portrayed their roles so well and their chemistry with her are far better than her recent one (I mean no offense). The ending is expected because 8 episode is not enough for this freaking damn drama!

I actually like Jojo and Hye-Hyeong ❤❤ When I first watched it I actually had a feeling that the main couples are Jojo and Hye-Hyeong. Notice the moments when the director always focused on Hye-Hyeong's pain everytime Jojo and Sun-oh are having a moment. In other Kdramas they don't make a big scene about it but in Love Alarm they EMPHASIZED it until it actually makes the audience feel more deeply connected to Hye-Hyeong's feelings more than in Jojo and Sun-oh's romance. I ship Jojo and Hye-Hyeong. I stan a strong, "damaged" man. ❤

Before watching Love Alarm, I saw snippets of Jojo and Sun Oh and I thought I was gonna love that ship but I saw Hye Young and I totally loved him. I don't mind if Jojo ends up with Sun Oh but Hye Young is the better choice, I mean he loved her unconditionally. I find all 3 characters very interesting. 1. Sun Oh, typical playboy who's emotionally scarred, kissed his best friend's crush and fell in love with her, got his heart broken and is currently in a new relationship whilst having feelings for his first love. 2. Jojo, an emotionally scarred girl who has never felt like she's wanted. Has a lot of problems in her life, needs someone to love her and show her how to be happy. Fell in love with Sun Oh, broke up with him so that she would not feel pain to protect her heart(Stole his smile) and lost hers in the process, currently trying to find true love and happiness in her adult years by meeting Hye Young. 3.Hye Young, a selfless and kind guy with his mother's love. Had a crush on Jojo but didn't confess to her directly, got her stolen by his best friend and accepted it in order not to complicate things. Had regrets and in his adult years, has chosen to finally fight for his happiness. The writers have a choice to either go with what most of the fans like (looks) or the timeless love(Personality). Sun Oh might be the one Jojo loves at the moment but Hye Young is the one she needs the most. That had to be said.
I hope they don't change the ending, most kdramas I've seen based on a magna or webtoon have ended the same as it, I mean if not it's not based on it then. They shouldn't repeat the guy who is the typical loving character as the soul mate thing and the aggressive arrogant character as the husband thing, (Boys over Flowers) I'm literally tired of it, that's why I love extraordinary You😂. When you grow older, you realise those ships are hella immature and not based on REAL Life situations, if you gonna make dramas, make them relatable at least. Previously I used to love such storylines but not anymore😂. Sun-oh is a good person. Just because she ended up with Hyeyoung doesn't mean there was something wrong with Sun-oh. Although, i wished there was something negative about Sun-oh so that i can convince myself that it was good that she chose Hyeyoung over Sun-Oh. Sun-oh was also a good boyfriend to Jojo, he wasn't toxic, manipulative and he wasn't even rude to anyone else, and never acted like a spoilt or immature child even though he grew up in a wealthy family that didn't care about him. So... Why..??? Why did she break his heart..? Why did Sun-Oh get an ending like this??????

I know this is a really unpopular opinion but I hope she ends up with Hye-Yeong. At the beginning he was this shy, hard working high school boy who loved a girl from a far. He had everything going against him coming from a poor family and not being genetic blessed like Sun-Oh, he would've never told Jojo how he felt if it wasn't for the Love Alarm app. Then years later he blossomed into a man who finally decided to act on his feelings and court the girl he loves the old fashion way. He waited for her to be ready and paced everything so that she felt comfortable. 😭 I hope he gets the happy ending he deserves.

Well, Netflix said that if this series movie 'Love Alarm S1' went big they will add S2 they if not there will no be S2. Warning Spoiler below! This series is an webtoon so I search it and I read. I was shooked since the ending is not going to be Jojo and Sunho. But not sure if Netflix is going to change the ending since it's up to them. But I hope if the season 2 ended I hope there is more season to come🙁💛
I really hope to make season 2 and Sunho and Jojo to be together. Even though this serie comes from a webtoon it doesn't mean that the serie must absolutely has the same ending. So many movies come from books but sometimes the changes in movies make it better.

TBH at the beginning sun oh was such a mean spirited person to me for hitting on the girl whom his best friend was in love with, intentionally. So I wished Jojo to end up with Hye Yeong who remained a kind and warm hearted person and loved her from the very beginning because he was perfect for Jojo in every aspect. But later when Sun oh really fell in love with her.. The way he took care of her.. Amazed me.. He stood by her through thick and thin.. And his love for her remained intact even years later although he was left broken! I totally hated the way she broke up with him.. Even though Hye yeong is a logical best choice for Jojo.. I really want her to end up with Sun oh who kept loving her even after getting hurt so bad.. That's what true love is meant to be right? To stay genuine with our feeling even when hard times hit us so hard!
Okay so ima have to disagree with the last part. I just finished watching this drama rn lol and idk but I’m like annoyed and need to talk to someone about it haha . My stan rn is I hope she goes with Hye Yeong or just none at all. So why I personally feel like this is because one I still don’t get why Sun Oh really went after her after he saw that his best friend was into her. I get that people are saying well it’s his fault for not approaching her ,but I find it more romantic that he didn’t just confess straight out like let the romance simmer slowly compare to Sun Oh who just went bam. Not to mention that he gave me very creepy pervert vibes when he took her into that alley way and tried to kiss her. Yea ik she then fell into the kiss ,but now that just makes me feel as if the romance between them was pushed and not build up. She was already not in the correct mental state I would say since she was realizing she wasn’t into her man anymore, so someone new doing that to her makes sense to why her heart might flutter. Okay and going back to his best friend thing why does he feel no remorse to what he did , how can you call someone your best friend and do that to them Hye Yeong should of really ended that and not to mention when they got older I hate how Sun Oh got mad at him for trying to get at her again , he kept on going how can you do that to me you know what she did to me you just used me blah blah and I’m just here thinking in head the audacity he has to talk when he did him so wrong too. People are so in love with their romance because how he took care of her during her lows ,but do you y’all think Hye Yeong wouldn’t of done the same???? I think I finally understand... both Kim Jojo and Sun-Ho are two broken people. Family trauma, always felt alone, parents tried to harm them. Together, they helped each other. Apart, Hye-Yeong helps them. Literally they both rely on HY as a source of happiness. I think he will be the one to bring them together, despite his feelings for her.

I think this drama is really confident.
The female lead is the strength to decide the plot to determine her feelings.
This drama does really a good job to be existed in Romance and Dramatic genre.
This will be forever missed and it is indeed left an unforgettable experience. Also, the good work is proved by how much everyone reaction begging for something like they who came from typical or mainstream romance k-drama.

This means that no one knows the ending except if there is season 2, because the writer is no longer able to draw, so we find out the ending through season 2

When I first watched it I actually had a feeling that the main couples are Jojo and Hye-Hyeong. Notice the moments when the director always focused on Hye-Hyeong's pain everytime Jojo and Sun-oh are having a moment. In other Kdramas they don't make a big scene about it but in Love Alarm they EMPHASIZED it until it actually makes the audience feel more deeply connected to Hye-Hyeong's feelings more than in Jojo and Sun-oh's romance. I ship Jojo and Hye-Hyeong. I stan a strong, "damaged" man. ❤

Before watching Love Alarm, I saw snippets of Jojo and Sun Oh and I thought I was gonna love that ship but I saw Hye Young and I totally loved him. I don't mind if Jojo ends up with Sun Oh but Hye Young is the better choice, I mean he loved her unconditionally. I find all 3 characters very interesting.
1. Sun Oh, typical playboy who's emotionally scarred, kissed his best friend's crush and fell in love with her, got his heart broken and is currently in a new relationship whilst having feelings for his first love.
2. Jojo, an emotionally scarred girl who has never felt like she's wanted. Has a lot of problems in her life, needs someone to love her and show her how to be happy. Fell in love with Sun Oh, broke up with him so that she would not feel pain to protect her heart(Stole his smile) and lost hers in the process, currently trying to find true love and happiness in her adult years by meeting Hye Young.
3.Hye Young, a selfless and kind guy with his mother's love. Had a crush on Jojo but didn't confess to her directly, got her stolen by his best friend and accepted it in order not to complicate things. Had regrets and in his adult years, has chosen to finally fight for his happiness.
The writers have a choice to either go with what most of the fans like (looks) or the timeless love(Personality).
Sun Oh might be the one Jojo loves at the moment but Hye Young is the one she needs the most.
That had to be said.
If Jojo chooses Sun Oh in the drama, no worries, she chose Ga Ram in real life and chose Hye Young in the webtoon.
I hope they don't change the ending, most kdramas I've seen based on a magna or webtoon have ended the same as it, I mean if not it's not based on it then. They shouldn't repeat the guy who is the typical loving character as the soul mate thing and the aggressive arrogant character as the husband thing, (Boys over Flowers) I'm literally tired of it, that's why I love extraordinary You😂.
When you grow older, you realise those ships are hella immature and not based on REAL Life situations, if you gonna make dramas, make them relatable at least. Previously I used to love such storylines but not anymore😂. I know this is a really unpopular opinion but I hope she ends up with Hye-Yeong. At the beginning he was this shy, hard working high school boy who loved a girl from a far. He had everything going against him coming from a poor family and not being genetic blessed like Sun-Oh, he would've never told Jojo how he felt if it wasn't for the Love Alarm app. Then years later he blossomed into a man who finally decided to act on his feelings and court the girl he loves the old fashion way. He waited for her to be ready and paced everything so that she felt comfortable. 😭 I hope he gets the happy ending he deserves.

This series is an webtoon so I search it and I read. I was shooked since the ending is not going to be Jojo and Sunho. But not sure if Netflix is going to change the ending since it's up to them. But I hope if the season 2 ended I hope there is more season to come🙁💛

I really hope to make season 2 and Sunho and Jojo to be together. Even though this serie comes from a webtoon it doesn't mean that the serie must absolutely has the same ending. So many movies come from books but sometimes the changes in movies make it better.
